It is all about price, quality work, and great tires. I've seen some of the other reviews, I am not going to debate them, I would not go here to get coddled, that is for sure. I went to this place because it was an authorized dealer for Michelin and I had a warranty issue with my tires. I had multiple cracks within the tire grooves on 2 of my tires. I spoke to Louie and he looked at my tires and said it is cosmetic and it was normal and unless there were cracks on the sidewall, he would go forward with the warranty process. I spoke to Michelin prior to stopping by and they concur it falls within warranty and take it to an authorized Michelin dealer to inspect it. Louie told me I can travel to California and believe me, I don't think anyone would want to take that chance. If anyone has a warranty issue with their tires, I would not count on this place to go the extra mile. In addition, all Louie had to do was call Michelin but he did seem to want to be bothered. This is the place to go for tires but don't get a wheel alignment. Car came out of the alignment far worse than when it went in. When I complained about it, they sent the guy who did the job to road test the car. It was like asking the fox "who ate these chickens?" Get the alignment somewhere else. read more

Picked up a set of 4 tires today. I paid the average price for them, no need to shop around. The sales men were polite yet very busy. They didn't try to sell me anything i didn't want. I really appreciate that! The time frame for the installation was pretty decent and the workers knew what they were doing. They even had to remove the locking lugs, which was done very quickly without damaging them. Definitely worth having your tires done here. read more

My husband got his tires fixed here and one of the employees stole his sunglasses. Then my father-in-law got an oil change, they broke a part in the car, called my father-in-law up and told him it was going to be a 20min wait. I had originally wrote this place a positive review, after getting tires and an alignment at Hilna and getting a good deal. But I recently returned for another alignment, and I will never go back. In the process of aligning my vehicle, they cracked the aluminum steering column housing with the clamp that holds the steering wheel in place during alignment, and they refuse to acknowledge they damaged it, or deal with the repair. When I tried to talk to them about it, 5 guys jumped in to tell me I was wrong and my mechanic was an idiot. I've talked to two respected mechanics about it, and I am 100% certain Hilna destroyed my steering column, and put my life in danger. This is a $400 repair I now need, due to their negligence. Do not go here. They are morons who are louder than they are smart. read more

I had a good experience here. I got four brand new Goodyear Eagle tires for a really good price. The price included mounting and balancing. They also did a wheel alignment and I could really feel the difference in my car. All the work was done in the time frame given to me as well. Came to them to get a flat tire replaced and have my wheels balanced. I prepaid for the tire and signed the contract for the sum of all the work. Next day I arrived and was told that the labor would cost an extra 70% per tire and that I should either pay the extra or get out. Even if this was an honest mistake on the labor quote, it is no way to treat a customer. I received no apology about the fact that I had a contract signed for the work to be performed. So I was basicly shoved the money in my face and told to leave so that they can rip someone else off. To me it was not even about the money, but the principle of them having the nerve to play such bait and switch technique. So I took the money and left. They simply don't care about retaining customers, or simply trying to work it out in my case, but rather just the bottom line. I wont be coming to Hilna again and neither should you. read more

went here on a recommendations from 3 people from my office who all have been going to this place for years. I was hearing some weird noise from my engine when i drove and it felt funny when i drove. At first the manager louie was gruff and hard to get his attention but when things slowed down and less people were in the office he was funny and nice to my dog chewie. He called me when they were done looking at the car and was honest about my options. I went to the dealer to see how much a control arm, brakes and old change would cost and found out he saved me a lot of money. I will be back for my tires. This may be good for tires but beware of getting ripped off for Inspection! Inspections are standard in pricing but if there is an issue that may cause it to fail, watch out! After the mechanic finished the inspection on my '01 Alero, he brought into the office three burnt out bulbs that had to be replaced.(there were four in total, one had broke when it was taken out) When John asked for the price of these bulbs, Louie yelled out $15 each!!! $60 for four bulbs that may have cost a total of $5.00. I understand labor but really? If you're going to Hilna Tires for an inspection, check all your signal and brake lights first. caught a flat over weekend. shops were closed. looking online at tirerack.com for a new tire. was told to go to hilna because they have good prices on tires and service. because i didn't want to wait 5 days for one tire to be delivered i looked into hilna's website. i did not see my tire but my friend said to call and ask. i managed to call and got the most unhelpful guy ever. He asks size? i tell him he then tells me two prices for Michelin. Which doesn't help as i asked for one specific michelin tire and if he had it available. he repeats we got Michelin. $$$ or $$$ depending on which one you need ok. As I said ok he just hung up. Called the next day asking for Michelin series do you have in stock. he asks for size he says yes we got it. (to make sure i asked again) So you have the specific Michelin in 255 60 16? he goes yep $165 everything included. (very helpful) i asked if i can make an appointment he says first come first serve jokingly. i chuckled and showed up in a few hours. got it done in 20 minutes. EXCELLENT but took off one star for the guy who gave bad tude Don't know if there was much of a money save. Tire rack wanted about 160 including shipping but i'd have to wait 5 days for it plus pay a tire shop to install and balance for me. Hilna took $185 for tire labor tax. read more

Got referred to this place by my mother because she's been a customer here for years, I had brang my BMW to this place for 4 brand new tires when they installed the tires a light had come up on my dash saying wheel sensor malfunction and the worker told me that it would go away after driving for a few minutes witch it never did so later that day I had a service appointment for my vehicle at BMW and I told them to look into that light on the dash and they told me that whoever changed my tires damaged the wheel sensor so a few days later I went back to hilna and spoke to the owner Louie and told him that his guys damaged my wheel sensor, he took the tire off and looked into it and couldn't own up to the mistake that his guys made, was beating around the bush the whole argument saying that it was a coincidence that the light had popped up right after they change my tires lol how coincidental then the man who installed my tires said that "this happened to me because I didn't tip him" witch I gave him 20 dollars right after my car came off the jacks. These guys are freakin CROOKS they lost a customer for life STAY AWAY FROM HILNA there's so many other tire shops that will put your vehicle in better hands trust me read more
