I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Austin Airport. The building's architecture is fascinating, and I loved learning about its history. Its proximity to the airport is incredibly convenient, especially with a shuttle running every 20 minutes. While the property is a bit older, the staff was exceptionally accommodating, and my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I've already booked my return stay for my next trip to Austin

I absolutely love this hotel. It was my last stay out of three other hotels before leaving Austin. This Hilton was 5 stars all the way .It was a pleasure meeting Dale .He was awesome! He welcomed me in with his great hospitality, and nice smile.Dale was able to get me checked in early and he upgraded my room. He gave my little grandson Jackson a snack.I will definitely be staying at this Austin when I return in a few months.I also received excellent service from the young server.I could only remember Dale's name.

Ideally located near the Austin Airport. We stayed here after a weekend on the Riverwalk in San Antonio so we could be closer to the airport for our flight out on a Monday morning. It is a round shaped building so the room was spacious and so was the lobby. There's a restaurant and bar in the lobby as well as a Starbucks. We ventured out for a good pizza restaurant about a ten minute drive away. The bed was comfy. The shower had good water pressure. They also have a screen with all of the upcoming arrivals and departures in the lobby.

Pretty standard Hilton. Located right at Austin airport, which was great for my 6am flight. Check-in was great and went smoothly. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had a rental car I needed to return a few hours after checking in, but they didn't charge me their normal parking fee, which was nice. Room was clean, shower was good. There was a bar in the atrium downstairs but I didn't check it out. There was also a regular airport shuttle. One slight complaint was that the room was very far from the elevator, so it took forever to get between my room and the parking lot. Other complaint was that it's pretty overpriced for what you get, but you're paying for the convenience of basically being at the airport.

Dirty table. The one we sat at was sticky and had drink rings in the glass top. They were all like that.

We had a pretty good stay. Front desk was great, went to the bar for some happy hour drinks and the bartender with pink hair, looked right at us and walked away through some door. Not "I'll be right with you" nothing. When she comes back she was like "what do you want?" No smile, not any kind of pleasantries. I asked what beers they had in bottles and she was like, "they're right there." My husband tried to chat her up, asked her name and still no smile or anything. Dishes have been sitting on the table next to us since we got here an hour ago. She's is currently standing there on her phone. Tell me you hate your job and don't care, without telling me. She is the sole reason for not giving a five star review. I get that people have bad days but you have to learn to leave them at the door when you're in the service industry. When people are on vacation, they want to enjoy their time, not be treated as an inconvenience.

This was the second time I stayed at this location. I've stayed there due to an educators conference and presenting in that location. There is plenty of parking for large size vehicles and you will get charged daily rates. The customer service is good and friendly. The bar area behind the registration desk has a comfortable and allows you to unwind. The breakfast buffet is weak needs and upgrade. The rooms are big due to the design of the building and very clean The beds are really comfortable and the temperature control work well for your room. As a conference location it's clean, quick and a good stop for travelers. Note, if you're hungry, you will need to drive somewhere since its an isolated location for food.

Love this Hilton. Perfect place to settle into before our 6:00am flight. The bar/restaurant is great and the staff is very attentive.

Hilton AUS Airport is nothing without Veronica and Ashley. I love this Hilton by the Austin airport so much because of employees like Veronica and Ashley who are so personable and welcoming. They are the heart and soul of this location. I have to commend this location on the beautiful design. Super clean and modern. Rooms are clean and spacious and overlook the center of the hotel. If you just need to be in Austin for a quick minute before flying elsewhere, then I would definitely give this location a try.

    The endless gross dizzying hallway.

They spent their whole budget on the decor, and when you're looking for your room it's an endless hallway that's dizzying and feels like your in the backrooms. The pictures on the website are not at all what they do in real life, the rooms are cramped and smell like musk. This was not at all what I'd expect for a Hilton 100% do not recommend.

Great hotel close to the airport so if you have an early next day flight you don't have to worry about Austin's traffic. There is a shuttle that will take you to airport every 20 minutes so you can even turn in your rental car early. The rooms are large and open in the two room layout. The breakfast coupons come in handy as it is a bit costly. The rooms are clean and the staff ready to help.

Ask the Community - Hilton Austin Airport

I'm coming into town in five months time. If Creeks Restaurant is back to a full menu, is there anywhere I can see that? Today? I'd like to see the prices before I book a room.

Can anyone please tell me if any rooms at this Hilton by the airport have jetted tubs in them?

I don't know that 100% but the standard rooms do not.

We also dined at Nido, the hotel's restaurant, for both dinner and breakfast, and it was definitely a highlight. Located on the topmost floor, Nido offers stunning views of the river and downtown Austin. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the ambiance is elegant and ideal for a special evening. During our visit, we saw a couple of groups celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries, which shows how perfect this place is for special occasions. The pricing is on the higher side, but it matches the upscale experience and beautiful setting. For dinner, we ordered the Burrata as an appetizer and the Autumn Garden for the main course, along with an American IPA and a Jack Frost cocktail. Everything was delicious, but the Burrata truly stood out as my favorite. Breakfast was equally enjoyable--we had custom-made omelettes with veggies and avocado toast, both fresh and flavorful. Overall, The Loren Hotel, along with Nido, offers a great blend of comfort, excellent food, and a beautiful atmosphere. A perfect choice if you're looking to celebrate something special or simply treat yourself to a high-end experience.

The Friday night gathering was amazing. It was a perfect setting on the eight floor to talk, mingle, and meet new people. The evening was warm enough to go outside on the balcony/deck and have conversations and enjoy a breeze. The room itself is large with a water station and a bar. A few short tables were set up for sitting and a few tall ones for standing. They had a nice selection of drinks from beer and wine to mixed drinks. The food included lobster rolls, sliders (chicken and beef), a tray of different veggies and dips, little balls of cheese and something, and aroncini? My favorite was canapés of Mellon and prosciutto. The saltiness of the prosciutto added to the flavor of the melon. This event was 5***** I blame the architect for the room setup. Why would you put bedrooms on the side of a hotel next to traffic. The noise, honking and sirens. It finally quieted down around 11:30. Saturday was also an issue. They do provide ear plugs and sound machines, neither works for me. I was also surprised there was no lotion in the room. There was no microwave. Everything else in the room was top notch. Robes, slippers, a safe, a bar, and fridge. Overall, the noise is what created the 3*** rating. That was very disappointing.

Two double beds were comfy and plenty of towels. Our first night's stay was decent. Surprised to know they seem to use softened water because it made our skin feel slippery. I noticed the shower gel holder was falling out of the wall. A precarious situation of having to carefully pull the mechanism to dispense without pulling too hard. I did notify the night staff but the next day, it didn't seem like anyone came to fix it. No extra body wash or soap was provided even when I asked for some. The wall sockets with the en-suite appliances was not usable. The electrical outlets weren't working so we couldn't toast anything, use the kettle, or the coffee machine. Couldn't find one with a GFCI breaker to reset that side so gave up. Interestingly, the full-sized fridge and microwave were working ok though. The rod for one of the window curtains fell off while opening them. Because it's floor to ceiling we just left it alone. The common spaces around the property are well decorated, from the Library, Executive board room, kids corner, gym/yoga studio, and outdoor lounge space. Although, the snack/tea/coffee station with Keurig isn't filled maintained often. We had to ask the night staff to refill the water for tea and the lobby water dispenser was constantly low as well. On our second to last day, I found the hot water and still water station downstairs at Simona's. Pros: Clean, comfy, affordable stay. Enjoyed the bottomless drip coffee $5 and their signature Breakfast at Tiffany's latte. Also appreciated them letting us do late checkout and upgrade our room. Cons: Complimentary water station, Keurig / snack station, overall maintenance of room amenities could be handled better. Warning: If booking from 3rd party (BILT, Capital One Portal...) the added parking is not the same price that's on Colton's House's website. It's actually $40/day (with in/out privileges). However if booking directly through Colton House for stays, parking is 50% off at $20. Would we stay here again in the future? Most likely not. For an SLH property, we may look for another better-maintained option in the future.
