The staff made me feel welcomed, my room was cozy and clean, and the location made exploring Austin easy. Last week, I was in the area for a work trip and this was the suggest hotel. I enjoyed the convenient location and the complimentary shuttle service. Now I will say it took forever for the shuttle to arrive at the airport, even though they told me 5-7 minutes. I was able to check in via the app and was issued a mobile key. I walked right in and went straight to my hotel room. Now the hotel is a big circle so make sure you get on the closest elevator :) The room was clean and I slept okay. Employees here hate their jobs. Woke up to a staff member opening and slamming every single door on the floor we occupied at 8am. It was loud every single time. It shook the walls every single time. Not only did they go around the whole perimeter of the floor for each room once, but they did it twice. Slam. Slam. Slam. Slam. Slam. Slam. Every vacant room. This Hilton was 5 stars all the way .It was a pleasure meeting Dale .He was awesome!He welcomed me in with his great hospitality,and nice smile.Dale was able to get me checked in early and he upgraded my room. Ideally located near the Austin Airport. We stayed here after a weekend on the Riverwalk in San Antonio so we could be closer to the airport for our flight out on a Monday morning. It is a round shaped building so the room was spacious and so was the lobby. There's a restaurant and bar in the lobby as well as a Starbucks. We ventured out for a good pizza restaurant about a ten minute drive away. The bed was comfy. The shower had good water pressure. They also have a screen with all of the upcoming arrivals and departures in the lobby. read more

Pretty standard Hilton. Located right at Austin airport, which was great for my 6am flight. Check-in was great and went smoothly. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had a rental car I needed to return a few hours after checking in, but they didn't charge me their normal parking fee, which was nice. Room was clean, shower was good. There was a bar in the atrium downstairs but I didn't check it out. There was also a regular airport shuttle. One slight complaint was that the room was very far from the elevator, so it took forever to get between my room and the parking lot. Other complaint was that it's pretty overpriced for what you get, but you're paying for the convenience of basically being at the airport. read more

I've stayed at a few different Hilton hotel over the last year and this Hilton was probably the best. This Hilton used to be an Air Force base and has a real unique setup. I only stayed for one night and I booked through Priceline, but I originally booked a one bed and need to change to a room with two beds which they were very accommodating. The pool is outdoor. The hotel overlooks the large open space in the middle of the hotel where the bar is located. The building is built similar to a coliseum which a roof over the center. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Austin. read more

Safe haven for chivalrous old money! Most of the clientele are airline staff, which means they're there to sleep. A quiet hotel makes it easier for me to sleep...yay! New money raises heck at the swanky downtown high rises, and middle class people take their bratty snot-nosed kids to discount hotels. For a gentleman, like myself, I recommend airport hotels, such as these. Convenient shuttle service actually makes it cheaper than mickey-mousing around with parking lots and rental cars. It's too bad that the CapMetro #100 bus is no longer in service. The Hilton shuttle stop is adjacent to the city bus stop, convenient for downtown transport. Only an amateur would Uber ;-) read more

The food at the hotel was very good. We had three brisket tacos and the brisket burger. Hotel itself was on the high side but it is so close and convenient to the airport it was worth it. Last time we parked the car here and this time we ubered. Love the bar, people were great. Dining room, and the common space was nice. It is a good start to a vacation. read more

We had a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and good at their jobs. Hotel was clean and comfy. Bed was very comfortable. Location is unbeatable for the airport. You do have to pay for parking at $14/day but that's much better than your options downtown. There's a bar in the lobby, a Starbucks open in the mornings, and a buffet breakfast for additional cost. Husband said it wasn't worth it while I slept in. I ordered room service and got a decently tastey large order of wings for a good price so I can't complain. Downside: walls are seriously so thin. Sounded like people in the next room were in the room with us. Heads-up: bring earplugs read more

We had a pretty good stay. Front desk was great, went to the bar for some happy hour drinks and the bartender with pink hair, looked right at us and walked away through some door. Not "I'll be right with you" nothing. When she comes back she was like "what do you want?" No smile, not any kind of pleasantries. I asked what beers they had in bottles and she was like, "they're right there." My husband tried to chat her up, asked her name and still no smile or anything. Dishes have been sitting on the table next to us since we got here an hour ago. She's is currently standing there on her phone. Tell me you hate your job and don't care, without telling me. She is the sole reason for not giving a five star review. I get that people have bad days but you have to learn to leave them at the door when you're in the service industry. When people are on vacation, they want to enjoy their time, not be treated as an inconvenience. read more

This was the second time I stayed at this location. I've stayed there due to an educators conference and presenting in that location. There is plenty of parking for large size vehicles and you will get charged daily rates. The customer service is good and friendly. The bar area behind the registration desk has a comfortable and allows you to unwind. The breakfast buffet is weak needs and upgrade. The rooms are big due to the design of the building and very clean The beds are really comfortable and the temperature control work well for your room. As a conference location it's clean, quick and a good stop for travelers. Note, if you're hungry, you will need to drive somewhere since its an isolated location for food. read more

We usually stay at Hiltons and most of them are good if not great. We had a bad experience here, though. Our flight got in late and we got to bed around 12am, so we were exhausted. The fridge in the room was rattling and making a constant "eeeeee" sound that made it hard to fall asleep. Then, the room service woke us up at 8:30am on a Saturday "to see if we had checked out yet." The repeated knocking woke us up out of a deep sleep and I couldn't fall back asleep after that, which was incredibly frustrating. Who knocks at 8am on a Saturday even if the do not disturb sign isn't posted?!The towels were yellowed. There are multiple entry points to the building that don't require a key card, nor do the elevators which means it's less secure than most hotels. Breakfast is an additional $20 per person for a standard continental buffet that's included at most Hiltons. We will definitely avoid this Hilton in the future. read more

Hilton AUS Airport is nothing without Veronica and Ashley. I love this Hilton by the Austin airport so much because of employees like Veronica and Ashley who are so personable and welcoming. They are the heart and soul of this location. I have to commend this location on the beautiful design. Super clean and modern. Rooms are clean and spacious and overlook the center of the hotel. If you just need to be in Austin for a quick minute before flying elsewhere, then I would definitely give this location a try. read more

They spent their whole budget on the decor, and when you're looking for your room it's an endless hallway that's dizzying and feels like your in the backrooms. The pictures on the website are not at all what they do in real life, the rooms are cramped and smell like musk. This was not at all what I'd expect for a Hilton 100% do not recommend. read more

My family and I stayed here after a late flight into Austin. It was convenient because we didn't have a rental car scheduled until the following day so we were able to utilize the shuttle. We used the Hilton Honors app which made it easier to choose a room and have a map at our finger tips for the hotel layout. The room was clean and quiet. We didn't eat at the bar or restaurant. The fitness room looked like your typical hotel gym with cardio and free weights. Another convenience is the Capitol Metro Bus stop is directly out front and runs every 15 minutes. Ive stayed here many times and as a business traveler and Diamond Member they usually have treated me well until the last trip. I had booked rooms for me and my engineers and 2 of the days the internet was down so we could not get any work done. I dont blame the staff for this but what is unacceptable is when I reach out to the hotel manager and he never bothers to reply after a week, that seems un acceptable. I think they should look into making a staff change. read more

The sheets were dirty and had a large smudge/stain of what looked liked blood. Hole in the wall in the corner of the bathroom. The hotel moved us into another room. But didn't really apologize or offer any type of discount for the inconvenience of having to move rooms. Hamburger in the hotel restaurant was good. read more

I just cannot believe this is a Hilton! When I walked into my room, I felt like I was at a La Quinta or a pay-by-the-hour Motel6. Not that I've been to either... :) The room looked like a prison cell. The bed was small, lumpy, and looked like it was just slept in or that maybe someone was still in it. My window(s) was/were two small slivers, surrounded by solid wall. It was like an office building, re-mix. In fact, my travel partner said this building was an old, real old, Air Force complex. Go figure. I think he may be right. The bathroom? Terrible. Small with an old tub. The bathroom was dated, really dated, to seventies style. The walls? Blank. ONE, just one, small picture frame on the wall for the entire room. And the picture was not good, either. The TV? Tiny. A crappy, Phillips's TV. My son's HD/TV is bigger and we only use it to display family photos. This is a Hilton????? Come on now. I think it's a 15, maybe 17 inch POS. Very dated. State of the Art electronic plugs? Not so much! A wall plug, near, or rather, not so near, the bed. Bring cords...LONG cords! And, this is a Hilton?!?!?! Okay, that's enough Hilton bashing for now. This hotel is terrible, just terrible. It really needs to either be updated or sold. This is NOT what I would expect from a Hilton and neither should you. Run....away....now. read more

WATCH YOUR MONEY/TAB AT THIS HILTON'S BAR/restaurant. I am a regular at this hotel, as an airline-crew employee. Waits for both hotel check-in and bar/restaurant service is typically, no less than 15minutes, commonly longer. Seemingly understaffed since pandemic 2020. Their WiFi intermittently if ever, works, even with their code. Back to the point of this post: As pictured, on May 11th at about 5pm, I ordered a cheeseburger at the bar. The bartender/waitress acknowledge d my airline ID (airline employees often have varying discounts since they bring regular & multimillion dollar yearly accounts to the hotel). The bartender/waitress stated my bill was $16.24. I gave her a 20. She gave me $3, no receipt. I tipped her before getting the food. However, she did not give me my full change, did not apply the airline discount, and did not provide a receipt. I asked whether she applied the discount, & she replied, "Yeah, I applied your discount. " Crew mates over the past several weeks, however, at this same hotel, during the same time frame, mentioned this particular waitress/bartender. I've seen her every weekend that I've been there in the last several weeks. She seems pleasant, but aloof toward proper change/receipts change. I would have asked for a manager or let the front desk know, but the waits at this hotel are extensive and our overnights are too short to deal with mismanagement. While the change and or discount was nominal, the principal of respect & hospitality, is not. To keep change no matter how small, self-tip essentially, is wrong. Im posting this to alert the public, esp airline crew. Request a receipt to ensure proper billing at this location. read more

Decent airport hotel that has a shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes. They are set up with the middle of the lobby is open and the rooms doors are facing the inside. I was only here for a short stay but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. There are elevators on both ends of the lobby. Make sure you take the right one towards your room or it will be a longer walk around to your room. The breakfast was good and it was buffet style. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy. There was also juice, fruit, bread, and pastries. I would stay here again if I needed to catch an early flight the next day. It was a 5 minute ride to the terminals. read more

Stayed here this past week as I had a flight the next morning. The staff at check in and the bar were friendly and helpful. My room was decent and there was a shuttle to take me to the airport terminal in the morning. We took an Uber to dinner as there is no where close by to eat. Nice big hotel! Check in was easy. The staff was friendly and quick. If you want a view outside make sure you ask for one and not the inside of the hotel lobby. If you want the breakfast buffet for the price it was a little disappointing you would think that breakfast would have been included. You could have gotten a better selection at a regular breakfast spot. The pool was nice and cool, perfect for little kids to play in but needed a few more shady spots to sit and relax. The restaurant was good for drinks and appetizers. Movies were pricey in the room since you only get them for 24 hours. Parking was easy with the qr code so you don't pay each time. Stayed a month ago at the Hilton in Austin. It's a hotel in the round and looks really cool. The only problem is if you have a room facing the inside ring, overlooking the expansive atrium/lobby, the Muzak to put you in a good mood when you're checking in or having dinner or a cocktail plays all night long and echoes like an Echodome. Kept me up all night. Called the front desk... they were clueless. At first I thought it was someone playing a radio next store. We had an excellent room with friendly, efficient service. The building is unusual and impressive, and the room was quiet and comfortable. No complaints at all. After a very long work day I just wanted to get some sleep. I quickly ironed my clothes to get ready for the next day. When I emptied the iron an absolutely enormous roach came out. I asked for another room but none was available. I asked for someone to come up and remove the roach from my sink and clean it out. It took about 30 minutes for that to happen. I'm here on business so I didn't choose this hotel. Needless to say, I've notified my company's travel department. Hopefully in the future they find us a cleaner place to stay. read more

Horrible experience and beyond unprofessional staff. Checked into hotel after waiting 20minutes for hotel shuttle because no one at the hotel would answer the phone. Trash on the floor, rotten food in the fridge. Informed the front desk, but said sorry nothing we can do. Tried to take a shower and the water was scalding hot and burnt me. Called the front desk about this and he said "what do you want me to do about it? Engineering is backed up. I asked for engineering to come at 8:30am, they called and woke me up at 7:30am. Engineering says the shower is broken and a whole piece needs to be replaced. He said he would see if I could shower in another room. I wait 30minutes and no call from front desk so I called and they said they have no rooms for me. Okay, it's been 30minutes since engineering left, can he get started fixing my shower. I need to be able to shower before work. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. Staff obviously doesn't care and it shows. Dirty, broken rooms with no customer service. read more
