Nice hotel: great restaurants and bar; well-stocked convenience store in the lobby -- although the prices are significantly high -- and nice staff. The rooms are clean, well-laid out, and comfortable. I saw one of the most impressive feats: going to the airport at 0400, there were already 8 of us on board when, a minute before the hour, a family of two grandparents, two parents, and three kids show up, each with two giant suitcases. The driver lifted these into the van and the luggage racks, then unloaded these at the airport. Those bags were very heavy, and I was very impressed by the strength and stamina of the driver, who (in my estimation) loaded and unloaded about 24-2600 pounds of suitcases. .. effortlessly, and with a smile. Horrendous stay at this Hilton property. Starting off with checking in and being told they couldn't locate my reservation. Couldn't find it with my name or the confirmation. After spending hours on a plane, now I'm on the phone with Hilton customer care, and they said they can see my reservation on their end but somehow the hotel couldn't. The back and forth with customer care and them speaking directly to the General Manager of the hotel went nowhere. Not once did the General Manager chose to step out from the office and explain to me what is happening or what we can do about it. The hotel ended up booking me a room but has no idea what happened to my original reservation. This caused unnecessary stress and made the beginning of our trip to Arizona start off horribly. Walking into the room, I noticed it's very outdated. The walk-in shower made no sense with a single piece of glass separating the shower from the bathroom, this made the water spray onto the floor. Every time you turn on the shower, you get sprayed with cold water since there's no way to reach around due to that piece of glass. The shower head is aimed permanently at the shower drain, so adjusting the shower head is impossible (due to the one single piece of glass). The thermostat did NOT work at this location. In order to set the temperature at a semi-comfortable temperature, I needed to set it at its lowest setting which was 60. The room go down to barely 72. Upon complaining about this issue, I was told other guest have complained about this issue, and that it's a hot day in Arizona which could explain why the thermostats couldn't reach the set temperature. You would think due to it being so hot, it's a reason to make sure guests are able to set the temperature on their thermostats. The only saving grace is the staff are kind, and they offer a complementary airport shuttle. Of all the Hilton properties I've stayed in, this is easily the worst. From the hotel losing my reservation and not quickly coming up with a resolution, to an outdated room with a ridiculous walk-in shower set up, to our room being uncomfortable due to being warm all throughout our stay. If we were to come back to Arizona, this is not the place we would come close to considering. Skip this one if you're traveling to the area and find a different hotel. UPDATE [5/27]: After booking me a separate room and telling me I wouldn't be charged for it since I already paid for the one they've lost, I check my credit card statement, and it shows a charge for the room. UPDATE [6/4] After calling dozens of times to customer service and the hotel promising me, they'd reach out for a refund, it wasn't until the call agent stayed on the phone with management from the hotel until they refunded me and sent me an email to confirm. After being promised several times they'd call, they never did. This situation took way longer than it needed to, and a simple refund shouldn't take days to initiate. It took 15 minutes while the agent was on the phone between the hotel and myself. I've never came across a hotel so mismanaged and lack of respect or care for their guests. I stand by what I mentioned above, avoid this hotel. read more

It's a typical Hilton Airport hotel. Air crews and conference people. There is nothing special. All the upgrades were given out by the time I checked in at 2pm. I'm Diamond with Hilton. The room was spacious. They have a nice gym and grocery store. It's in a business park with other hotels so plan on a Lyft if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The property is nice inside in the common areas and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. I had an Arizona Room and it was very spacious with. Balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard area. I'm a diamond member and this is the only hotel where I feel appreciated. I landed in to Phoenix airport at 7:29am and called them to see if they will let me just hang out at the executive lounge while I wait for regular check in time (3pm). Drew was the one who picked up my call and he had to ask supervisor Ryan to check if it was ok & he said yes. I was so happy because I really didn't want to sit at the airport. I also requested a shuttle. Drew directed me to Arrivals, North side, door 7 and cross the street and go right where the curtesy shuttle pick up location was. I got picked up within 15 mins of that request. When I got to the front desk, Ryan told me that a room just popped up which is available. I was actually flabbergasted and wasn't expecting getting a room THIS early. I was happy though and thankful! I absolutely will come back to this hotel and even though it's $200+, it's money well spent. Great customer service from the both of them! They have an executive lounge on the 4th floor. I came on a weekend so they didn't have the amenities and snacks or breakfast out. However, I did get a coupon for one free appetizer at one of the restaurants. This location has two restaurants. One is breakfast buffet the other one is like a bar restaurant. Plus a grab and go Starbucks/food options. The rooms are clean and the housekeepers made a super cute bunny towel with tiny googly eyes! Such a nice touch. I had a balcony/ patio with the pool scenery. Really spacious room with a lot of wall plugs for my personal devices. And outside was surprisingly quiet even though we're near an airport. Last year was a great stay here. I don't know what has transpired since then, but this year was not good. I booked an exec level room thinking my experience would be the same as last year when I was upgraded to exec. Nope. Front desk was borderline hostile when I was told instead of breakfast, I'd get a $15 credit (breakfast is $23 before tax & tip). It was pointed out I am only HH Gold and that even HH Diamond doesn't get free breakfast. My room was a normal king & faced the airport. I had to up the ac fan to drown out the planes. Pool facing rooms don't have this issue. The bathroom floor in front of the sink & toilet was sticky! Nasty! You have to close the door to enter the shower & the door has to be fully closed or fully open to use the toilet. I had asked for quiet as my priority. I could hear the people in the room next to me (with the adjoining door) until about midnight. They were repeatedly letting the door slam. Not a good stay. I will look elsewhere for 2025. read more

As a diamond member, even though I check in early, the front desk staff told me rudely that there is no upgrade, without any reason! More confused, I was told the food credit will cover the breakfast buffet(very limited food choices) and they charged me extra $48 per day for it. On my first day, I called more than 3 times for conditioner but no response. I need to go to the front desk to ask for it. On the second day, the cleaner did not refill the conditioner since it is empty! Horrible service! The room is very dated with very a tiny bathroom! Very nice Hilton with enjoyable comforting beds and a delicious restaurant. Efficient for parking vehicle and getting a ride to the airport for a great price compared to the vast 'Park-N-Ride' businesses. Hotel room was expected, very clean, comfortable, spacious and bright. Temperate heating and cooling which you could quickly adjust. Quiet room and large T.V.. No issues and overall cleanliness was above par. Oddly, they have wrapped all their entrance doors in a dark wood vinyl that looks cheap; see attached photo and our door was torn and bound up. Otherwise, hallways and general grounds of the hotel was very, very nice and decorated for Christmas. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Quite impressed with very illuminated parking sidewalks. I found this to be incredibly detailed and assistfull so as not to trip but the detail was certainly upper quality imagery. read more

This is a nice Hilton property close to the phx airport. We typically stay here when we.have an early flight out of phx. Make sure you have the direct phone line if you need a shuttle and hope thy answer the phone. Fairly good property located next to the airport and only a short trip to downtown. Room was large, clean and opened up to the pool area which was perfect as the weather was quite warm. Fitness center was large and well-equipped. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options to choose from. Staff was accommodating. read more

The start to our Hawaii adventures landed us in Phoenix for a night due to our delayed flights and all the flights to Maui being fully booked until 3-days from now. I do like Hilton. They always deliver for me during trips and vacations. Stayed at the Hilton Phoenix Airport for one night because we had an early flight out of Phoenix. I used contactless arrival and it worked very well, no need to check in at the front desk, went straight to the room--it was easy and effortless! It also always nice to be on the Executive floor where access to the lounge is a big plus. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous! I extended the night for my room and when i returned to my room at the end of the night all of my friends belongings were gone, he had two pairs of Diors, 2 LV tshirts, a diamond ring and several other clothing items taken. Dior shoes, LV/Lacoste shirts, Lululemon gear, eternity ring and a bunch of week's worth of personal clothes all cleaned out, nowhere to be found not even lost and found because "there wasn't anything in the room" according to the housekeeper. The Hotel itself was ok, downtown Phoenix. When the TV didn't work, after over an hour of trying all buttons, I called the desk for assistance. The TV noted to scan for channels. The person who answered the phone said that they didn't know anything about the tv's and told me "good luck". When my husband called again at to see if possibly maintenance could help, we were told that the maintenance people came in at 6 am and a work order could be put in to look at the tv. We finally traced all the wires and found that they were incorrectly put into the tv spots. read more

Told my husband we need to be near the airport and ASU and he provided. I have no idea what the rate is. It is super conveniently located near the airport and ASU. The restaurant options are good if you want to drive a few miles to Mill Road. I did not use the pool or other facilities. Check in was easy and fast. Room was nice and very clean. This has always been my favorite Hilton hotel. Over the past 10 years, I have stayed here 5 times total, twice with the family. Each time, service has been excellent including sending the airport shuttle to pick just me. The rooms are always clean and beds extra comfy; their beds come close to my favorites at the Davenport tower, and that is saying something knowing the standards of the Davenport. Two restaurants within the establishment serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and offer a bar service . I spent 2 nights resting after surgery and the noise level was negligible even though my room was close to the main road access. The cleaning crew was pleasant and continued to make sure I had everything even when I declined room service the first night. Because I'm a Diamond member, my breakfast was included and I got free water bottles whenever I came to the front desk. Having coffee bean coffee instead of Starbucks is a bonus in my books. Overall pretty good. They have a shuttle from the airport and will take you around in looks like about a five mile radius. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. There is a restaurant and bar that is not bad. My only complaint is no room service. I think they should either give you a discount or an option for daily room service. Yes you can request extra towels but that is it. For the price there should be a choice of room service or not. read more

Considering this hotel is rated as a 3.5 to 4 star, it needs some work. Room 305 in particular; 1. tv needs to be replaced as the sound speaker is blown 2. toilet constantly ran 3. we checked in early and instead of telling us that our executive room on the top floor wasn't ready, front desk clerk just went ahead and gave us Room 305, lacking customer service 4. Airport hotels arent always the best, sometimes theyre kind of loud or outdated, but the Hilton Phoenix was neither. I checked in and had a somewhat awkward encounter with an older patron but the gal who checked me in was absolutely pleasant. She greeted me and checked me into the Hilton Honors line thanking me for my status. She even walked me through the courtyard and across the pool area to the area where my room was as it was quite a far walk. It was understandable why she did that but appreciated nonetheless. The room was very nice and spacious with a good bathroom. There were tons of plugs and a good media area with a fridge. I tried out the hotel bar which was extemely crowded but the service was great! After that I tried out the pool and spa which were both comfortable and refreshing. All of the amenities and the room were definitely 5 star. read more

Update: Pretty sure I got a sinus infection from my room. (See review and photos) Not the worst Hotel I've ever stayed in, but the worst Hilton experience so far. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is it's proximity. 1. Proximity to the job site I worked out of 2. Proximity to the Airport 3. Proximity away from crime When I arrived, the atrium was nice and the pool area is actually really nice. When I opened the door to the room, the musty smell hit almost immediately. Thankfully because it's PHX, I was able to open the window and run the fan to get some fresh air into the room. Only after 3 afternoons of doing this same practice did it finally start smelling less musty by Wednesday night. I inspected the HVAC intake and noticed that the filters appeared to have an installed date. I think it says 1-26-2022 (or 1-24-2022) either way I'm no HVAC expert, but I believe even the best filters need to be changed more than that... only 1 out of the 4 toiletries had anything in it or the only one actually working. (see photos) Since I work all day, I didn't feel like making it a big thing at the front desk. Should I have? I guess I could have, but for Hilton Honors users, we have a handy app that lets you use your phone as a key among other features. one of them is to communicate with the hotel. I decided to try it out and sent a message on Tuesday. No response. On my last evening, I sent one other message. (see photos) I'm a fairly forgiving guy, but considering this is one of the only supposed "4-star" hotels in the vicinity, I was hoping for a little more. They don't service the room but once every 5 days (unless you ask for it, but again; Why have a communication feature if you don't monitor it?) if I come back to Phoenix, This will NOT be my first choice. I'm going to say right now, I'll probably look in nearby Tempe or some other suburb and risk the 20-30min. commute than stay here again. read more

Tonight for dinner I ordered the Sriracha salmon. I have grown up on the coast of California and throughout my whole life I have never tasted salmon as good as the piece I got tonight. My stay was pleasantly good considering post covid-19, new norm guidelines. My check in was easily done via the Hilton app. Picked the room I wanted, and selected to receive my digital key on the app. Therefore no interaction was needed at all. Room was very nice and clean, room had a balcony that I used early in the morning while having coffee. No breakfast was served, due to the covid -19 regulations. Over all stay was good.
