My stay was pleasantly good considering post covid-19, new norm guidelines. My check in was easily done via the Hilton app. Picked the room I wanted, and selected to receive my digital key on the app. Therefore no interaction was needed at all. Room was very nice and clean, room had a balcony that I used early in the morning while having coffee. No breakfast was served, due to the covid -19 regulations. Over all stay was good. A co-worker and I stayed here the night before our flight so that we were close to the airport. This Hilton is a pretty big hotel, they have a nice pool area and Bar & Grill. The concierge lounge was on the 4th floor and offered a pretty nice social hour and early breakfast. (Diamond Members Only) I received a King size room on the first floor, I had quit a walk from the the front desk to the room through the pool area. My room was next to an exit were evidently EVERY smoker used causing my room to smell like smoke. I would have asked for another room if I was staying more then one night. They room was very large but the bathroom was smaller then most Hiltons with a King room. I was worried about possibly getting broken in to as the window lead to a parking lot and the window slide looked as though it was broken into several times and didnt look like it was secured very good. Note to self, no more rooms on the bottom floor. All in all this was a nice hotel with a comfortable bed and some nice on site amenities. I just wish that there was no smoking on the property, then again, i'm a non-smoker. read more

Very pretty hotel. Friendly staff. My room was nice and well appointed. I would have rated three stars except for a couple of things. They forgot to stock my room with shampoo. I traveled with just a small carry on as I was only on a one day trip o I didn't bring shampoo or lotion, mouth wash etc. I knew the hotel would have them. I go to take a shower and realize after I'm undressed and about to jump in that there is no shampoo. I was annoyed and had to get dressed at 10 pm to run down and grab some shampoo. 2nd issue was I was very unhappy with the quality of the sheets. I tossed and turned and they were abrasive to the skin. Only in the morning did I realize that my bed didn't have any sheets on it. Just a mattress cover and a comforter. Well no wonder it felt weird. Now I know they probably don't wash either of those things as much as sheets would be so I was a little bummed when I found this out in the morning. I didn't give them a chance to correct it as I was leaving that morning so there really was no point. Everything else about this hotel was nice. Just check the toiletries before hopping into the shower and check the bed for sheets. read more

I thought this hotel bore Hilton's good reputation and I didn't hesitate in booking a room here. In reality, my stay at Holiday Inn Express was way better than a night at this Hilton hotel. Rooms are small, even the bathroom is really small, when someone opened the door to the bathroom while I sat in the toilet, the door nearly came up to my face. My neighbors (didn't know which room) kept talking loudly till 3am. I could hear all that when lying on my bed. When checking out, the girl was on the phone and simply accepted my cards. I had high hopes for this place since it is a Hilton Hotel, and since I've never had any problems while staying in previous hotels in different cities, I expected that to be the case with all Hiltons. This specific Hilton didn't meet any of my expectations. They actually charge you for breakfast..I'm used to "complimentary" breakfasts at Hilton's. There were spiders in our room, the bedding was filthy and the pillows are horribly flat and uncomfortable, I woke up each night with a sore neck, The bathroom was super small and the design was awkward, I've never been in any hotel where the door was directly in front of the toilet, I hit my partner in the knees with the door at least twice while he was sitting on the toilet. Every Hilton I've stayed at had spacious bathrooms. And Last but not least, I really don't like that our room didn't get cleaned for two days out of our 4 day stay. We left our room for majority of the day, hoping to come back to a clean room, restocked coffee and fresh towels..boy were we disappointed!. We finally had to ask the front desk if they could send someone to clean our rooms since we needed fresh towels and we were told that the staff had gone home for the day--this was around 4pm on a Saturday. Overall, I was not pleased at all with this Hilton, it was nothing like the any of the Hiltons I've stayed at. I probably won't ever come back to this location. read more

This hotel is in need of a renovation and update of the menu in its hotel restaurant. The front desk staff, and the staff in general from housekeeping to the bus driver, are the saving grace as both representatives (particularly MeKayla) were incredibly helpful and willing to help out in any way they can. The food and rooms are unfortunately a different story. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of resources here at the Hilton. This is supposed to be a high-quality brand and is internationally-renowned, it did not meet even my most modest expectations. I took a chance on this hotel brand because I have wanted to continue to support hotels as they are facing stiff competition with Airbnb. As a frequent flyer, it's unfortunate that Hilton will not be a future option. My partner and I were greeted by front desk staff (who were excellent at this hotel) and from there, the quality of our stay declined since then. The food at the restaurant was horrible and everything looked like it came out of a bag from a low-quality brand of chicken, beef, and potatoes. If the prices were below $8 and categorized as TV-dinners, I would have understood the low-quality food. But because nearly everything is advertised as "good food" and attached to a $15 price tag, I was disappointed. To be blunt, these workers deserve better resources in order to do their jobs. The hotel needs to be renovated as it is THE Hilton hotel for the PHX airport. It needs to meet and exceed expectations if it is going to attract more customers. read more

We stayed here twice during our vacation. We had a one night break between our stays here, took a short trip to Vegas to see a show. I loved staying at this hotel. I appreciated the digital check in and checkout. I really loved the digital key from your phone too! The rooms were nice comfortable and clean. We had one huge issue while staying in AZ but NOT with the hotel. The hotel's front desk agent came through as my greatest problem solver! She had a solution for us and was kind and calming during this situation. Her name is Michelle so if you experience the need for help she is your girl! Norm, the hotel shuttle driver is a great ambassador for this property. Great fun for the 10 or so minute ride back and forth to the airport. Our King room was spacious (although not quite as spacious as the Hilton Garden Inn). The room had a nice sofa with a wonderful ottoman to put our feet up on. We appreciated the in room refrigerator. Lighting in the bathroom was bright; the room not so much. There is no fan in the bathroom so the mirror fogs up pretty badly after a shower. There is a coffee shop/deli (Brewed Awakenings) that is open pretty much all the time and has good selection of edibles. The Rimrock Bar and Grill is sort of sports bar like. Decent food but not a huge selection. Open for dinner only. Rinneck's Restaurant is where they serve breakfast. It seems like this place as well as the Rimrock are understaffed as service was really slow even with the breakfast buffet option. The buffet was decent, with made to order omelets as an option. I've stayed here twice now, last December and last night. I attended an office holiday party on both occasions. Every member of the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Omar, one of the waiters, went above and beyond when he overheard me expressing a wish and worked to make it happen! I wish I had gotten everyone's name. They each deserve a shout-out. The food was also spectacular (both years). I don't have a reason to stay at local hotels very often, but i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Hilton to anyone staying in the area. Our family came to this hotel because this is a family hotel establishment. Everywhere there signs no smoking we open our balcony and you can smell marijuana coming from next-door. Call downstairs talked to Stephanie she's going to send the manager right up we wait 45 minutes no manager. I called the corporate number to file a complaint and the manager was never told and the manager didn't do jack this place is a joke very frustrating when you have little babies and somebody next-door is blazing up. read more

What a lovely hotel! I arrived early for a meeting and the fabulous staff at the front desk got me checked in an I was able to take my luggage up to my room before my meeting! My 4th floor room is lovely and well-appointed (even has usb plugs on lamp at desk!) and an in room mini fridge to keep my water cold, awesome! First let me start with the plus side the front desk manager I DID get to speak to Gino was absolutely amazing and understanding. He apologized on behalf of the hskp and the inconvenience myself and my family dealt with. I had changed rooms FOUR times in a 2 day stay. I originally reserved for a king room with sofa bed on the first floor with walk out patio to the pool. I arrived at midnight 2 nights ago from Vegas, and being that I'm a hilton honors member I got the option for a digital key since we were coming late. My first room 140 I arrive with my 3 yo son in tow at first glance seemed ok. I always check my rooms before getting officially settled in for anything that should not be. My first room was a disaster. That room was not cleaned at all they just made the bed and put towels. I found crumbs and trash behind furniture and the tub was not clean either. I call to the front desk and inform them that my room was not check in ready. So the front desk clerk changes me to a king room on the top floor with no pull out for my son. He tried to make it seem like I was getting an upgrade because I was going to the executive floor and gave me breakfast passes as his way of apologizing *again I'm a hilton honors member I already get breakfast passes with my stay so this was pointless* I stayed in room 401 for the night until a manager came on for day shift to correct the issue. The room he put me in was cheaper than what I paid for originally. I waited until 1pm the next morning to see if someone would follow up with my guest complaint.... Nothing.... I ended up having to go down myself and talk to another front desk agent because the manager wasn't in yet. She informs me she will keep an eye for a room to come up that I reserved for and move me when it's ready. About an hr passes and she brings me a key for my new room 162 back on the first floor. When I get there I check again and now find a sock left behind the lamp and trash again behind the night stand. I was over it at that point the sock is very visible if you go to turn the floor lamp on so that let's me know hskp skipped over this high touch area I go back my room on the 4th floor and wait for the hotel manager. He finally shows up and apologizes for the inconvenience by dropping my rate down to 100 even from 317 and some passes to have dinner at their restraunt( which is very expensive for some pre made items I got 30 dollars in vouchers and still paid 23 dollars to cover the difference.) So now we are getting moved to the 2nd floor with 2 queen beds and view of the pool. Gino stated the hskp manager inspected the room before giving me the key ( should have done it the 2nd room) so I felt a little more at ease. I get to my room and find a dried up contact on the night stand by the beds,crumbs in the couch, and some red stain on the bathroom wall. Gino asked if this room was OK and I just said yes because I was over it. I have never had such an unpleasant experience at a hilton property. Ok if it was a Hampton Inn or H2 maybe because they are the cheaper brands from Hilton. But a Hilton brand hotel the standards of cleanliness was way below normal. Aside from dirty rooms the hall ways and elevators also had pieces of trash left around. I gave it a 2 star because of Gino but other wise I would have given it a no star. The cleaning process needs to be re evaluated again here. This is an airport property so your cleaning should be through the roof being that you have travelers come in n out daily from different places and with Covid! Not 1 time did the hskp manager come to my room either nor a maid for the 2 days I n was here. And with all the interactions I had with the front desk I never was informed of what was open on property, resturaunts, hours of operations nor the wifi information to my room. Just over all not a fun experience I have never been excited to go home from a hotel stay. read more

American Airlines sent me here on a voucher after a missed connection due to aircraft maintenance issues. I wasn't expecting much from an airport hotel, frankly. I was wrong. The front desk check in was fast and easy, and I was thanked multiple times for being a Hilton Silver member. The room was fine, nothing great, nothing bad. I had dinner at the bar & grill due to my somewhat late arrival (~9 PM.) I sat at a table away from the bar; the bartender was my server and he was extremely attentive and personable. The food I ordered - artichoke dip & chips to start, followed by a Reuben sandwhich - was extremely tasty. I had breakfast the next morning in the on-site restaurant, and again the food was excellent (Southwest omelette with home fries) but even more so, the service, from both the hostess and waitress, was superb. Very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Couldn't ask for better! Check out was fast and easy (and I was thanked again for being a HIlton Silver member), and the shuttle driver who took me to the airport was friendly, helpful, and pleasantly conversational. My exepctations were wildly exceeded. I spend well over 100 nights a year in hotels, and this was one of the very best experiences I've had in ages. read more

Our 3 night stay was alright. The room was clean, which to me is most important. Checking in and out was easy. However, we did run into some maintenance issues. First off, our bathroom light was out when we got there so we had to request them to fix it. The second part that was actually a big inconvenience for us was that our card reader on our door went out, I guess it was the battery or something like that. Well this just so happened right when we were trying to rush in to use the restroom. Just our luck right? Our key would not work so we ran down to the lobby and she said she fixed it. Went back up, same thing. Ran back down again and she gave us new key cards. Same thing. Now she said she has to call maintenance to fix it since its the battery, we waited 15 minutes. It wasn't too long but definitely inconvenient. I reminded them at checkout about these issues and I was given a half assed apology. I would've appreciated some sort of compensation but it is what it is! read more

Location is handy, cudos to a pleasant and informative shuttle bus driver who reminded us, no less than 4 times of the scheduled shuttle times. Front desk (at 8pm on a Saturday) was staffed with 3 individuals who booked all arrivals in a very friendly and quick fashion. Sadly, that is where my star review ends. The only positive about the room was that the bed was Fairly comfortable and the room didn't smell monody. Otherwise, the room didn't live up to my initial positive experience. The hotel is definitely in need of a SERIOUS refresh. The carpeting in my room was unbelievably filthy, not sure it has ever been cleaned. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is cramped and beat up. Upon arrival, it was overly obvious the housekeeping staff absolutely did NOT even attempt to wipe the bath vanity counter top or sink. White crumbs/debris still on counter and stuck in sink stopper, water stain dried marks still obvious, a cut portion of a plastic clothing price tag still sitting on counter. Obviously it makes me wonder what else hasn't been cleaned. Sorry to be spending my money and time here. Would absolutely not equate this with a 4 star hotel experience. read more

We stayed at Hilton Phoenix Airport in the past, however I am disappointed with our how our COVID situation has been handled. We had used Hotels.com and yes, we did take the no cancellation price. However, that week of March 17 is when everything was shutting down and everything changed that week. Remember, the airports were shutting down etc... We called to cancel, but were billed a total of $266.78 for the night. They told us Hotels.com would not refund the money, but you would think the Hilton would pressure Hotels.com to help get our refund under these most unusual circumstances. I'm done with Hilton and I'll never use Hotels.com in the future. Don't use HOTELS.COM or Hilton! read more

Nice Hilton property. The room was spacious and had a nice patio to the pool area. I found this to be a nice shortcut to the restaurants inside the property. The location is clean, quiet, and a just minutes from PHX. There is a free shuttle to the terminal, but I opted for driving and paying for parking as to not wait on the shuttle when I got back. The bar inside the property was nice, and made a pretty tasty pizza. I prefer the Doubletree near PHX, but I would not hesitate to stay here again. read more

Airport hotels aren't my thing. They're usually inexpensive and convenient for business people on layovers or tourists on a budget. I came here for a work meeting and they hosted it here. For a Hilton, I thought this was pretty below average for what I've experienced before. Maybe it was because it's an airport hotel or the fact that it's in Phoenix. I've never been a fan of Arizona hotels because they do love decking out their hotels in damn Southwestern themes. Yes, I know cacti, coyotes, and sunsets are cool, but not every damn hotel needs it. Overall the accommodations were okay. Clean and big which is good for a night's rest. Only issue is that the doors are thin. I was woken up at night by a group of people talking in the hallways and you can definitely hear the airplanes taking off. Also, it was $199 a night which is pricey for an airport hotel. As a Diamond HHonors member, I'm on the Executive level which helps, but not much. The breakfast is mediocre, but free. At $200/night (non-corporate rate), keep driving. If it matters, I stayed at the Crown Plaza at 44th and Washington and had a very similar impression. read more

For example, like most other Hiltons, there isn't a complimentary breakfast. What a dick move for an upscale hotel, right? Well... wait wait wait HHonors member, you get exclusive access to the Executive Lounge on the 4th Floor for a lovely complimentary breakfast with eggs, potatoes, maybe some other hot foods, muffins, bagels, doughnuts, fresh coffee, juice, yogurt, and a staff member there just for you! Oh, and don't forget that we have a lovely, HHonors member only evening reception with libations on the cheap and some lovely finger foods - sandwiches and such. Relax after your long day, and partake in some CNBC or other hi-def programming on one of our HDTVs Back in your room, $9.95 for a day of Internet access? Not so, HHonors guest! Type in your information and we provide you 24 hours of Internet access completely gratis. (And surprisingly, for non-free Internet access, it's not particularly fast. I was only hitting 0.5Mb/s down) I get giving your best customers special perks, the evening reception for one, but some of these really should be perks for all guests. I will give the Hilton Phoenix Airport a lot of credit otherwise. The staff is incredibly friendly. They have a complimentary shuttle that will take you to several nearby locations. I've made a few trips to Chase Field when the shuttle drops me off and picks me back up from the 44th and Washington Valley Metro Station. The rooms are fantastic. Clean, well appointed (I'm sure it's those fine, European linens, Serta mattresses, and Crabtree & Evelyn soaps), HDTV in every room. One big criticism is as of my latest trip in August 2011, they've disabled the TVs from switching to a secondary input - alas, no plugging my PlayStation 3 into an HDMI input for some gaming/movies/Netflix. A second criticism, no mini fridge or microwave in the room. There is an amazing fitness center. Plenty of room, full rack of dumbbells, benches, treadmills, ellipticals, weight machine... Needless to say, it's well equipped. The pool is also pretty big - long enough to get a few good laps in without crashing into kids. The price on this place is always reasonable, especially compared to other hotels of its caliber in the area. I still prefer the Doubletree up the road, but for the price, this is a decent choice if you have an HHonors membership. Otherwise, I'd suggest trying someplace else. read more

Oh my gosh....I am sitting in my hotel room right now and want to SCREAM. I am paying 275.00 a night for the Presidential Suite which is very large but oh so very outdated. The fixtures are all from the late 80's how i know is because there from the same year I was born! Its horrible! The Spa was full of spiders and orange....pretty sure it was white at one point. All the fixtures in the "wet bar" are like a Taupe/Pink/Mauve and are squeaking soooooo loud right now! I feel like I'm on the set of Pretty Women urgggg I hated that time period! This place could be GREAT if they did some updates! Since its Thanksgiving no one is working and the High Class much praised kitchen is closed! At the friggin Hilton its closed! I could have stayed at the Ritz Carlton for less down the street but since my grandfathers High School reunion is here we figured why not....Cant be that bad I mean for crying out loud I'm used to Motel 6! This is pretty bad! However what staff they have left down there is pretty nice! read more

Wow, a year already since I've been discriminated here! I guess when they say three is a party, it's true ... My sister and I got a room here and got kicked out the first night for "noise complaints " at 7 PM. We got no warning, no knock on our door or phone call to our room . We walked out and the first thing she said was "I called the police " so Police were there faster than we can pack so we ended up leaving with no explanation on why we're being kicked out and stayed somewhere nicer. Very close to a 4 star performance. The shuttle was there within 4 minutes of my arriving, which was great considering it was 102 outside. The driver was swift, amiable, and professional, and offered the passengers an iced down bottled water upon getting in. The hotel itself was clean and the staff great. There was a decent fitness facility for those of us still pretending to give a shit about the status of our physique. The shuttles run at the top and bottom of the hour, 24/7, so it's a great choice for the business traveler. read more

I booked my stay here through Expedia (I should have done it through the Hilton website so I can get Hilton Honors privileges). As soon as my party of four pulled up the front to register, we were impressed. The lobby was massive, though not as impressive as the Hilton Garden Inn in Richardson, Texas, but still extremely pleasant to look at. The rooms are huge, bigger than more than 90% of other hotels this size. I love the long table by the wall with the TV on top of one end, the refrigerator and dressers underneath and a desk at the other end. Simple, elegant, functional. The beds were firm and the pillows were soft. Towels were plenty and soft too. The bathroom was a little small but the space was made up in the bedroom area. I loved the balcony facing the pool area. The view of the lobby from the second floor was really nice. The hotel had an in-house restaurant and bar. We visited the restaurant from breakfast one day (separate review). While the buffet table was well stocked with many, many items, I think the price was a bit steep. Good thing was that kids eat free. This is my first time in the Phoenix area. Loved it. Everything seemed to be accessible in 15 minutes or less. Of course, it was a weekend when we stayed but I just love the way the freeways were laid out. read more

This Hilton is going threw a renovation. I got to stay in a newly remodeled room. I liked how fresh and modern it was. Our stay was good but not perfect. The bed was comfortable and our room seemed clean. You have a small slim shower and you have to turn the facet counter clock wise for your water. The other thing is that it's hard to get an outlet by your bed incase you need one for something. During our stay NONE of the vending machines had bottled water to purchase and my husband complained at the front desk and then they gave us bottles of water. Had the free breakfast the next day and it was OK. The ride back from the airport was OK. Overall I had a good stay. read more
