    More of the outdoor pool

This has to be one of the nicest Hilton I've ever stayed at! The pool was very clean and welcoming. Very nice thick beach towels for the chairs. The indoor pool was very nice as well! I was on the executive floor, which has a lounge that served breakfast evening hors d'oeuvres and then late night dessert, as well as many beverages. The only downside I would say is that they have a niche, coffee machine that dispenses 19 different things, and it's only one, so the line to get just a black cup of coffee in the morning. Would some times take 5 to 7 minutes, considering standing in line behind people who are trying to decide if they wanted a café Americano or a hot chocolate or a frosty cool coffee. My recommendation for Hilton would be to invest in just a black coffee dispenser as well for all of us that just want our morning coffee. There was fresh fruit each morning, scrambled eggs and eggs, omelette with bacon and spinach, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. The nighttime snacks were also very nice. There was salads every night along with a fresh charcuterie board, and some type of hot hors d'oeuvres. Desserts after 8:30 included pecan pie, chocolate cake, vanilla and strawberry cheesecake or fruit. I would definitely stay at this location again ! It is really a great property-and I don't give out five stars that easily. The guest services and the associates were very attentive and polite.

We were staying at the hotel Thursday and Friday night because we were attending a wedding nearby and this was the recommended hotel for the wedding guests. The lobby is nice but the parking garage is not. There was no working gate and it looked like it had been broken for a long time. Disappointing for a Hilton brand hotel. The room was spacious but a little dated. We got a takeout breakfast sandwich from the restauarant and had a Cobb salad from the patio bar and grill by the pool. The outdoor pool was nice and spacious with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for guests.

Located next to the Short Hills Mall you can walk to the mall. Excellent service and friendly staff and has the best Breakfast Buffet that I have ever seen in a Hotel. I highly recommend having the breakfast it is pricey but totally worth it. You can self park for a fee or valid parking for an extra higher fee. I highly recommend this Hotel very clean and professional

Disgusting mattress people pay to sleep on

Very expensive hotel. Not so clean though. Hallways need to be vacuumed. I travel a lot and always check for bed bugs before I unpack. This room on had a mattress that clearly had signs of bed bugs. Blood stains are a sure sign even if you don't see bugs. I asked for a different room and they made me wait to speak to a manager instead of just giving me another room. Too expensive to not change out a disgusting mattress. Do better!

How does that look to you?

Bad customer service no one notified us that we going to be charged $24 per night per parking also the building look like an office building is that supposed to be in hotel or an office?

James is AMAZING!! After helping figure out a mix up I did when booking this room for my nieces birthday slumber party. We were lucky enough to meet him in person upon check in. So sweet an attentive to us. As we entered our room, my niece was SUPERRRR excited that James had left us chocolate covered strawberries and a happy birthday card from him and the wonder staff here at the SH Hilton. My niece loved the pool and the bed was extra bouncy as she said for a few slumber party jumps!! Will DEF book again in the summer to use outdoor pool and enjoy beautiful hotel again. Thank you James as well as Heather for making our slumber party as she said.. "the best one everrrr!!!"

If you self Park, there's an entrance to the hotel from the garage

I have no family left in this part of NJ, so when I needed to book lodging for a wedding, this hotel was a great choice! I'll get the ding out of the way first. The hotel is under construction, so the atrium, the Hat Tavern, and several other areas of the hotel are closed. In addition, there was construction noise, although it was not terrible. The construction and lack of access to several of the amenities was not disclosed on the hotel's website. I still would have booked my stay here; it just would have been nice to know about it ahead of time, especially as it was a rainy weekend so access to the Hat Tavern would have saved a lot of getting rained on! The future plans for the hotel sound really exciting - a private dining club, a Turkish hammam and spa. Our room had already been renovated and was a huge upgrade from the photos on their website. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had great pressure. The bed was extremely comfortable as well! I definitely had a hard time getting up every morning! The included breakfast (7AM- 10AM) was extensive and very much welcome, especially given the weather. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful! On our day of departure, our flight was not until 7:30PM. They gave us late check out (1PM) and stored our bags so we could be mobile. We had a leftover bottle of champagne (what?!). When we returned to the hotel after our rainy adventures with an hour or so to kill before heading to the airport, the woman at the front desk got us an ice bucket and some glasses so we could sit in the lobby and enjoy the smooth jazz on the sound system. It was a super relaxing way to spend our last hour in NJ before the horror of the airport.

There's also plenty nearby for shopping and dining. Just one block away is a strip mall with Burlington, Target, Starbucks, and Whole Foods. A little further up the road you'll find an AMC Theater, ShopRite, Petco, and even more stores and restaurants. David made a very positive impression on us during our stay. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful whenever we needed assistance. I was already a little on edge after sitting on the tarmac at LaGuardia for 8 hours and then driving 12 hours to New Jersey, so his kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. Our room was spectacular! It was very large and equipped with a full kitchen that included a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and large stove. The room also came stocked with plates, utensils, pots, and pans. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. There was a full-sized bathroom with an outside vanity area, two closets, a folded cot, a dining table with chairs, and a comfortable sofa for relaxing and watching television. The complimentary morning breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of hot cooked foods, breads, muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, and more. The parking lot was also plentiful, well-lit, and felt very safe. Overall, this was an excellent stay and we would absolutely return when visiting the area again. 5/5 Price 5/5 Comfort & Decor 5/5 Staff 5/5 Parking 5/5 Convenient location

I simply contacted them to inquire if I could book with them directly rather than a third party at a lower rate of course. After days of emails/calls back and forth, and specifically asking if I should just book through booking.com. They finally offer me a competitive rate that I am in agreement with and I respond back within hours to reserve with them. "True transparency " they respond back reneging on the offer stating they could not match booking.com pricing because of availability and recent price increases! This is after they offered me the lower rate! Oh and best of all the rates on booking.com conveniently increased the day there offer was emailed to me. Additionally, the surrounding area is quite convenient, right next to public transportation. I used to run in the area after work and I enjoyed the neighborhood. However, when I noticed the business lounge door lock was broken and I couldn't get in- the front desk person just didn't respond. Room- mix! The kitchen area was spotless and I was VERY IMPRESSED with the included tools, silverware, dishware, cleaning supplies, and how clean everything was. If you did want to do an extended stay to cook, you are set. But the rest of the room is so bizarrely laid out. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, there's no solid door between the two so hope you're close with everyone and have an eye mask for the light! The air vents go directly on top of the bed so you may need more bedding with the AC going. The water flow varied- sometimes great, sometimes not. The only long mirror is in the bathroom- without much room to step back. I've never been so disappointed in a breakfast before. The bread/pastry items were all badly stale, the basic breakfast items went low and took forever to be replaced. Nothing had any seasoning on it. The layout of where plates/plasticware are made no sense. Even the juice was bad. There's one small trash bin that is difficult to put stuff in. Absolutely nothing good to say. We had a fine stay for a place near where we wanted to be at a decent price. Bring your own food and an extra blanket and plan your toilet visits and you'll be fine. If you're here for the airport, this is a good choice.
