I've been meaning to use this place for you but completely forgot. I went 3 weeks back almost 20 minutes before closing the guy's there were super nice and I asked for some different sauces on the side and also could they whip me up? Maybe tinderi chicken sandwich which was another menu but they had tendery chicken and they had sandwiches and they're like hell. Yeah, we'll try it out and try some sauces and then give a ton of fries Given that it was like I want to say 11:30 a.m. and it's not too far from the tenderloin there only was two other people in the restaurant and then four doordash drivers came in the 20 minutes that I was there to get other orders. These guys gave a ton of food and researching and mentioned that they were even working till 1:00 a.m. sometimes before, but they were having trouble recruiting people. Loved coming here and definitely we're dropping again for a late night bite, they really loaded up my food and nowhere else in the city have I gotten such a big sandwich and a ton of fries that was basically two meals for me for $15 and especially not at 1130 where nowadays one burrito is $16 cash.

Personal pan combination Pizza for $7.60 (Delicious)

I found this pizza place late night, I loved their pizza, so delicious and good prices also they have Indian food, I will try out next time. There is only one pepperoni left in food warmer and almost closing time, I told one of the front employee, I guess he's the owner, I wanted other combination slice but don't want him to make the whole pizza, he said he can make me a slice combination for me no problem. Came out is like personal pan pizza, I didn't expected that bigger than a slice pizza usual and it's cost only $7.60 included tax, good price, good customer service and quality pizza. I ended up ordered to go for my Sons tor the whole Himalayan Pizza chicken which is their specialty pizza only chicken but he added Beef for me, so delicious. Highly recommended for anyone.

I'm in my room on Golden Gate Avenue very good, fresh food and I think they accept food stamps too.

Friendly staff good food and they take EBT cards! I've had their Hawaiian pizza, tiramisu cake, garlic cheese bread and Philly cheese steak sandwich. All were very good and reasonably priced.

We ordered takeout and man was it delicious! The portions are massive so a medium pie is extra filling. We got 2 medium pies and 2 momo orders for 5 people and couldn't finish it. I cannot comment on the ambience as I ordered takeout, but the pics look nice!!

    Chicken Tika Masala

I really enjoyed this meal! The chicken tika masala was packed with flavor and spice. I ordered the medium spice and it had some kick to it. If you're sensitive, ask for the least amount. The meal came with basmati rice and the chicken separately. Great price too. I really loved the rich flavor of the chicken and creamy texture. The color was a rich deep orange. Smelled amazing. Tasted amazing. Highly recommend.

We ordered this for one of our event at my workplace. We ordered mainly paneer pizza, queen veggie pizza, and tandoori pizza. The problem is, 2 of our participants were Jain, which can be very hard to accommodate. I called them back and forth to ensure they could make some adjustments for the food and Nabu and Santosh were one of the few places who's willing to accommodate such hard request, and the only one who really went above and beyond on the request. They're really kind and flexible! The food's arrived on time and still warm too. Very delicious and flavorful, all of our participants provided great feedback on food. I love their paneer pizza. I think it could use more cilantro, though. But still very lovely. 10/10 will keep them for our next events!

    Royal paneer pizza, small
    Sydney J.

I saw online that they offered a $5 off discount for your first time if you use the link on the restaurant website to order through Allset, so my partner and I used this so that we could order a royal paneer pizza, small, which is 12 inches. The food was ready on time and space-efficiently packaged in a pizza box which is just the right size, they also included some cheese packets inside the box. I was rather underwhelmed by the flavor of the pizza, however. I actually felt it was under-spiced and under-sauced, I would've liked a much richer heartier flavor and the paneer also tasted relatively plain due to this. But if you like paneer, then this could be a plus if you prefer to just be able to savor the taste of the paneer itself, which they cut into fairly large cubes. The flavor profile is dominated largely by cheese and onion. There was a little cilantro, but not enough to be quite noticeable. Overall, I'd consider the flavor more of a 3.5 (if Yelp allowed half stars).

Tikka Masala Fries, Fried Chicken MoMo, Chicken Momo

We just came out of the Orpheum Theater on a Thursday night at 10:30pm and came over to this place looking for a place to eat that was open late and this was a short 5 min walk!Located in kind of a sketchy corner, we were the only customers when we walked in but two other parties popped in after us. They had nice, no nonsense service. We dined in, as did the other two parties. We got the Tikka Masala Fries, Fried Chicken MoMo, Steamed Chicken Momo. The fries were bathed in cheese and sauce. Very yummy. The momos were also so, so good. Hit the craving for sure. I liked the fried momo a lot, and the steamed ones hit the spot perfectly. Orders seem to be freshly made since it took until 11:00pm for the food to come out (which probably isn't that long, but it was late and we were hungry). Solid place! Would likely come again if I'm looking for an open-late eatery.

    Goat platter
    Tien L.

Best kept secret in SF. I've been here twice so far and each experience has exceeded my expectations. During my first visit, I had the goat platter and my goodness. Not only did it come with a large variety of bites (cucumbers, salad, vegetables, bean masala, pickled veggies, goat curry, sweet rice dessert, naan, rice), everything was so well seasoned. In addition, I had enough leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day. The goat platter was served on a beautiful stainless steel tray that had various partitions for the different dishes. (Where did you get this tray?! I've been obsessing over stainless steel dinnerware because they don't break and therefore can last forever which reduces waste and makes the Earth happy. Thank you Himalayan Pizza and Momo for making the Earth happy). During my second visit, I had the goat biryani which came with a side of raita (yogurt). The yogurt complements the spices so well. There were so many different spices in the dish that I lost track! Again, the portion is so generous that I had to take the rest home, which ended up being enough for both lunch and dinner the next day. There are several tables inside and they are open for indoor dining. Each time I've dined in, there have been plenty of tables from which to choose. Service is great and very considerate. The staff came over to check on me because they were concerned the biryani would be too spicy. They even tried to take the spice level down a notch for me. The biryani ended up being the perfect level of spice. I needed two glasses of water to calm my taste buds but that's how you know you're at a great restaurant. I know what you're thinking. You're wondering if you should be ordering biryani from a place that also sells philly cheesesteaks and pizza. They are catering to a wide range of customers given their location next to the Tenderloin and Civic Center. I can't speak to the pizza since I haven't ordered it but I see a lot of people come in and out of the restaurant ordering both the curries and the philly cheesesteaks. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu items!

Regardless, Base Camp was awesome and a solid restaurant in the Mission. My friend and I arrived impromptu on a Monday night, surprised to see a crowded house; luckily, we snagged a table in the corner. We ordered the tandoori octopus, pork belly bhutwa, and goat curry which were all good. The tandoori octopus was fork tender and delicately spiced. The pork belly had vaguely Indian and vaguely Chinese flavor profiles, without lending itself to either side of the fulcrum. Kinda masala mixed with a bit of mala, which makes sense given Nepal's location. The goat curry was the only dish, albeit good, that didn't quite stand out for me. Service is also incredible. Every time a dish arrived, servers graciously explained how best to indulge, a welcomed gesture for this Nepalese novice. Would come again!

Genuinely. Absolutely perfect. Delicious, well seasoned and with lots of pork. I had to restrain myself from wolfing it all down in one sitting! That said, I also tried one of the curry dishes my first time, and was thoroughly unimpressed. It was bland and I wish it had more spice and texture. I will definitely enjoy the noodle dishes again in the future though! Thanks also appreciate the cute interior, and the vibe is nice if I want to take friends out for a casual evening meal.

I went to the restroom unfortunately you have to pass through the kitchen to go there and I was stunned how dirty the kitchen was. On top of it, I noticed they had boxes of frozen samosas from grocery stores as well as frozen momos. So basically this restaurant is reheating frozen food and selling it as fresh Nepali food and hoping no one will notice. The dirty kitchen and reheating frozen food from Indian grocery are not my idea of Nepali food. Hopefully the restaurant will change its way from my feedback. I love Nepali food and Nepali people and hate to give low reviews to small businesses.

We also got a side of garlic naan and Peshwari naan. Although I hadn't had Peshwari naan before and was skeptical about whether it would go with the meal with its sweet flavors, the filling of coconut, almonds, and sultanas was so delicious that it was my favorite part of the meal.
