First time trying this spot in Altamonte and we had a reservation but it didn't look like you needed one for a Friday evening. However, that parking lot is very busy with all of the other restaurants including vida which is very busy on a Friday evening. The appetizer was just ok (the beef was a little chewy) so we wouldn't get it again. The sushi rolls were pretty solid just expect a lot when you get into the $20 range. Service was good but we didn't like that our app came out with our sushi, we would have liked it before. We love local spots so we will give it another try!

This has become a new favorite in Altamonte! The service is always friendly and they're happy to help with recommendations. The happy hour specials are a great value; lasting til 6p so take advantage and get a glass of wine. The sushi rolls are always fresh, flavorful, and perfect for my taste; especially if you like rolls with a little crunch, sauce, and touch of heat. I also appreciate that there are several non-seafood options for my boyfriend, who eats zero seafood. He ordered Yakisoba Chicken, a noodle dish that was packed with veggies and flavor, with the option of adding extra spice. Definitely a spot on our regular rotation.

Since our favorite sushi place went out of business a few years ago, we've tried many places. Tried Fuji Sushi tonight and booyah, we have arrived. Everything was amazing. Many places do not serve conch and they do and it did not disappoint. It was delicious. Our server ,Chica recommended we have the salmon pistachio appetizer, and we ate it all before I thought to take a picture.. it was incredible. Had we not ordered so much food I would've ordered a second one. The other appetizer we were recommended to try was the trio tiradito. Again, absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. We also had Nigiri salmon, mackerel, and tuna that was absolutely beautiful. The gyoza and spring rolls were also very good. Our other guest who doesn't eat sushi throughly enjoyed a beef and pork noodle dish. We can't wait to go back

From the first time I went the update was that every staff member was friendly and kind. I loved the decor and the option to sit traditionally too. The food I tried was Okay. Just recently I got another chance to check this place out again. I ordered a California roll and chicken fried rice. The staff again was kind and friendly. The roll tasted as if it was made the day before. So it was not to my liking. I tried the chicken fried rice and it was like something was off. I got nauseous and ended not wanting anything else. The staff did ask to remake the fried rice but I opted out. Again the the staff is really kind and nice. They are attentive to their tables/guest. The decor is really nice too. The food I have tried has lead me away but give it try. I probably just had a down moment. You may have a better moment. Thank you the awesome staff and Professional they showed. It was so kind.

We came tonight for the first time for Bite30. And despite making a reservation and it not seeming very busy, they seemed short staffed and we had to wait awhile for someone to come to the host stand and then go clean off a table. We both did hibachi which included miso soup and ginger salad in addition to an app and dessert as part of the deal. Those came out first and were fine. The fried rice and noodles we ordered as sides with the hibachi tasted odd but the meats were fine. Our appetizers came out after the meal (Hijiki and edamame) and we didn't think either was very good. However, the fried cheesecake dessert was incredible. Service was super slow and took 2 and a half hours when all was said and done. The staff was apologetic and very nice and the inside was cute but due to the lackluster food (not including the dessert) and slow service, we would not rush back.

What a great place to have dinner. Visit for the fisrt time in their new location. Food is amazing and great customer service and great atnosphere. Great variety of sushi rolls, appetizers, cocktails, soups, salads, mocktails, hibachi and more. Have been here already twice and food is so delicious. My favorite is the tango mango signature rolls, fry squid and my favorite drink is the lychee sake. Welcoming vibes and great decoration. Reservations are highly recommended since they get full very quick. You can also buy the bottle of sake and take it home.

I was so excited to try this place after seeing all the pictures online. The inside of the restaurant is nice and the staff here are friendly. We ordered a lot of food and everything was soo good! I think this is my new favorite Sushi restaurant. The quality of this fish here is really good and their rolls are interesting. In addition to the rolls the food here is good too. The SP roll is my all time favorite sushi roll now. I cannot come here and not get it. The Salmon Pistachio appetizer was amazing. The Yaki Soba was soo delicious. If you love sushi you really need to try this place out!

Happy as a clam to have Fuji Sushi open up on my side of town. I've been here twice since they've opened and the food if great. windows in the outside are tinted so you can barely see inside, but once you walk through the door the decor is warm and very nice. Service was great and we were sat right away. Started with the coconut shrimp appetizer. Flaky perfectly fried. They are not filleted open like other places which I really like:) the sweet sauce it comes with is delicious and a little goes a long way. Had the 2014 Specialty roll with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura and some thin slices of jalepeno. Obviously not traditional sushi- but man was it tasty soy sauce or no soy sauce either way it was delicious and fresh. Also got the 2013 which had the yummy krab salad on top with more shrimp tempura. We also got the beef yakisoba. Awesome dish to share. Had some pickled ginger on the side. And some light vegetables mixed in. Sweet and savory, with a touch of the fire I assume from the wok. We finished it all:) This little plaza has a lot of great things in it, from Indian, Mexican, Italian, bar food and now sushi!! All of these places are great and we can't wait to be back to try more from their menu!

My husband and I visited a couple weeks ago right after they opened and ordered a couple rolls and were blown away at how delicious they were! We remember visiting them when they were at their other location on Lee road and we're stoked they are now at this gorgeous location (even closer to us now!). Last night we tried a few more items and man, talk about fresh sushi! The fish is absolutely melt-in-your mouth delicious. We definitely recommend trying their mocktails too. Very refreshing! Highly recommend.

I had a delicious dinner here last night during their soft opening! Everything came out quickly, tasted great and it was a lively atmosphere. My husband and I sat at the bar. They have sake cocktails, and I selected the First Class which is a lavender lemonade. Delicious! For apps we tried the soft shell crab and pistachio salmon. I was a big fan of both, and my husband said the soft shell crab was some of the best he's tried. For sushi we split a signature roll, the 2011. It was a little sweet for my taste but I did enjoy it. They have a great selection of cold sakes. We will definitely be back.

First, if you did not know, Fuji sushi moved from Winter park /Lee Road location to Altamonte Springs. I went on the first day of opening of their new location, and while there were a few hiccups in service, the food was the usual outstanding. It is usual to have some service issues on the first day of opening, but I am optimistic that these will all be sorted out quickly. Chef AB, and his culinary staff, work very hard to ensure that their guests have an amazing experience each time they visit. In their new location, I found the ambience extremely pleasant. I will definitely continue to be a loyal guest. I know that they have expanded their menu offerings. But being a creature of habit, I continue to enjoy the Sushi rolls that were offered at their original location. All the best at your new digs, Chef and Team.

Wonderful food and sushi. Beautiful space. Can't wait to return. We shared a sushi sandwich. So much tuna. Really messy and yummy and filling.

PHENOMENAL! I sat at the bar and Jasmine took care of my dinner. I started with miso soup which was a nice sized serving and the perfect flavor. I then had the shumai dumplings. They were put together perfectly and by far were the best flavor of any I have ever had. The dipping sauce was delicious that accompanied the dish. I then ordered two rolls but didn't realize how big the portion serving would be. Well worth the price! The rolls were gorgeous pieces of art and the flavor was an explosion. I was moaning with every bite! It was beyond a fantastic experience and I am definitely coming back!!

$5 miso soup that might be a 1/2 a cup

But it's there, overlooking the lake, waiting to offer you delicious sushi. The staff are always very nice, helpful, and patient as you look through the menu. With a huge selection of fish and veggie combinations, the menu has something for everyone. (I'm sorry I don't have a menu picture for reference!) The ingredients are always fresh and the rolls are made in house, to order. I have never had a bad roll - or a bad meal. While the seating can be cramped with a full house, the views make up for that easily. If you manage to get a seat in the back, you can look out over the lake (which absolutely has gators because I saw one on my last afternoon visit.) There are booths, tables, and a large sushi bar - again, something for everyone! I highly recommend checking this spot out if you are a sushi lover like me. When they closed one by one we found a Thai/Sushi shaped hole in our hearts - until now. Green Papaya scratched both itches simultaneously because sometimes you want a spicy tuna roll and a bowl of tom kha. We started with the appetizer sampler - all of which was good but the stand out was the chicken satay both in flavor and tenderness/moistness. I wasn't a huge fan of their summer roll - it had ground chicken that seemed like it was for the chicken lettuce wraps. But they had great peanut sauce. I may have found the perfect tom kha soup - the broth wasn't too sweet or too sour and the biggest surprise was they chopped up the ingredients! Not huge chunks of chicken and veggies, all nicely diced to easily fit on a spoon. I got it medium but could easily do med-hot. The kani salad was well dressed and had shredded cucumber in it as well which I was less thrilled about than my heterosexual life mate was. She also got a red dragon roll which had perfectly crunchy fried shrimp inside and well minced and seasoned spicy tuna on top. My panang curry was good but a tad more sour than I like, however the veggies and chicken were reasonably sized and cooked to perfection with tender meat and crisp veg. The place is very modern and trendy inside with bright lighting and a bit loud. It was still nice enough to hold a conversation. The service was fantastic and they even have one of the cute little server robots that seemed to be "in training" as it had a human server following it around.

It was fine, but it was missing that rich coconut milk flavor I look for -- it tasted thinner and less rounded than the curries I've had elsewhere. The second time I actually dined in and went with a stir-fry dish instead. That one was better. It was cooked well and everything was flavorful, though the fish sauce came through pretty strongly, which isn't always my thing. So: solid cooking, generous seasoning, but the curry didn't win me over. I'd say it's worth a shot if you like a bolder, fish-sauce-forward style, but I'm not sure I'll be rushing back.
