I got the 4 piece jumbo tender box for my lady and I. I first took a bite of the warm fresh honey biscuit and was like, "DAYUM!" That biscuit was soooo good at first bite. It did get a little too sweet the more I ate but it was one of the best biscuits I have had in a very long time! My girl thought it was too sweet for her but she doesn't really like honey. The fries were average nothing out of the ordinary. Wedge fries with a little seasoning built in. Solid 6 or 7 when it comes to fries. Now for the tenders Let me tell you that they are not lying when they say jumbo. We could have split the four piece because I was getting full after one tender! I did eat two and was stuffed. Hey, I have two more for dinner. lol I got the bbq sauce which was tasty. It was more like a hickory bbq with a slight kick. My girl got the krispy sauce which is like a Kane's style sauce. She liked it a lot. All in all I'd give this place a solid 8.5 out of 10. Being in Laurel I would def go back considering it was less than 2 miles from me. Def want that biscuit again and I'm going to try the fried chicken next time.

Upon entering, we were met with graffiti inspired artwork on the walls, which was cool. We perused the menu and decided to order. They have different levels of spice for your chicken and decided on an order that was mild (2 sandwich meal) , medium, (2 sandwich meal) and extra hot (I was warned by my daughter to rethink this option, but, alas, I did not heed her warning; 1 tender 1 sandwich meal). They had the spiciest level, reaper, which you have to sign a waiver to purchase, I wasn't that crazy y'all... Food delivery service was available and they had an LED board with which ones each order was under. The service was great with the associates very pleasant at the counter. We also ordered a fruit punch slushy, but it was TOO sweet for me and I couldn't finish it. If you love sweet drinks, this would be the one for you! We were given a buzzer and we didn't wait long for our order to be ready. The orders were accompanied by crinkle cut fries (we got cheese on ours for an extra cost) along with a small container of coleslaw, pickle slices, and Dave's Sauce. The fries were good with that cheese sauce: fresh, crispy, not greasy and the sauce tasting like real cheese. Now....I pride myself on enjoying a good hot spiced item from time to time... but my extra hot tender was not to be played with. I bit into that crispy tender and instantly knew I indeed "bit off more than I could chew!" It was as if that hot spiced item shot through my whole body and I was heated on the inside for about a couple of minutes. I say that to say, if you are not into spicy SPICY, don't go above medium. I prefer some other locations over Wheaton Mall one. As for the Laurel location, this one is my favorite, and I've been somewhat often. I've never had any significant issue with them. The food quality is great. I'll get a 1/4 or 1/2 chicken with 2 sides like redskin mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, corn, fries, bread, etc. Staff is relatively nice here. I talked to the manager a couple of times about a couple of minor things, and manager is good here. One time in July 2025, I went for Mandela Day, and it was a madhouse as it was a free 1/4 chicken with fries. I was patient as I waited a while as they had dozens of people wanting the free chicken that Friday evening. My girlfriend was sadly ill that weekend; so I bon appetited on my own. Nando's reward program got worse; so I'm less motivated to schlep to Laurel just to get Nando's. However, if I was going to go with Nando's, I'd go with this one as Arundel Mills let me down last time. Service & food is always top notch at the Laurel location.
