This pizza and sub shop is a hidden jewel. The newer owner really cares about his business and his products/food show and taste it. I used to own restaurants. Owning restaurants makes you hyper critical. The food here is tasty, perfectly cooked and delicious! I've had a few small business meetings here and we've had wings, steak subs,pizza and salads all were amazing! One of the best Steak n Cheese around if not the best. You can tell the freshness and quality of ingredients he uses and at good prices too! Go eat here and if you dont love it, well you probably like 7/11 food Seriously, you'll love the food here! Its more of a carry out but will seat about 12-15 ppl and more outside. Its more of a pick up and delivery shop but again you wont be disappointed. Enjoy! read more

It's easy enough to miss the Wings Things & Pizza building driving down Laurel's Main Street but when you know it's there, you can't forget it. I've never had a bad experience at Wings Things & Pizza. My orders have always been ready on time, the service has been as friendly as can be, and the variety of different drink options are the cherry on top of it all. The owner will throw in a dessert or two on occasion, never expected but always appreciated. I've only ever picked up my orders, I don't think there's anywhere to sit but there doesn't need to be. Take your order, go home, you know you're going to get something fantastic! Admittedly, aside from the odd dessert, I've yet to eat any of the "things" (there are plenty) but the wings and pizza are probably my favorite among all of the pizzerias I've tried so far. My 3rd order. Every delivery is very fast, less than 30 mins usually. The food is still hot, and great care is taken during transport. The Large pizza is great for one person, and you will have something for the next day. Pizza is very tasty almost and very close to NYC style pizza. The crust is a beautiful golden brown crust just thick enough to hold my favorite toppings and this beautiful red sauce! I am so picky with my pizza and I am just a brat when I get a pizza craving! Terrific food, great service and they go above and beyond in customer service. I was very sick with a gastric norovirus and ended up in the hospital. They hadn't heard from me in a while and the manager actually called me and left a lovely voice mail message checking on me because they were concerned something had happened to me. I was craving some fish and chips type of dinner, but also wanted to try out a local halal restaurant delivery service as well. They frequently send flyers out with their menu showing all the items that are halal. Every item is not halal. Even though we had tried this place out several years back, the quality and service weren't very consistent and we stopped going. I decided to give it another shot judging by the more recent Yelp reviews. So glad I did!! The online ordering system did seem to promise me a delivery time that differed from their own ticketing system, so by my app, they were 10 minutes late, but 10 minutes early by their account written in the receipt. Not sure what to make of that, but the food was piping hot when it arrived. The fish platter totally hit the spot, lightly battered/coated, still crispy upon delivery, served with a tartar sauce, which was okay. Normally, I would never order seafood from a halal restaurant, but this was solid. The fries got better with every bite and had a nice crisp to them. The cheeseburger sub was shared between my kids and myself and it was a hit with all three of us. Pretty sure the burger patties were from frozen patties, but it was okay. Patties from scratch would be a huge improvement. We also ordered "chicken wings" with Golden Honey BBQ sauce, but they were actually chicken fingers cut in half. It's more like chicken nuggets in BBQ sauce, but I have to admit that it was still delicious. I ordered a tad much and we had a whole fish filet leftover for another meal. Still tasty upon reheating. All in all, their parking is still not great (limited street parking), but with the delivery option, it's not as big a problem for us. This is my go-to spot for veggie pizza. I like to choose my own toppings, deep dish crust, with no cheese. Their customer service is great as well. Recently, my friend and I ordered delivery, but she received the wrong order. In no time, her food was delivered nice and hot with a smile. My pizza is always delicious. So during my adventures today, I became very hungry and was in need of something good to eat. I was on Main Street in Laurel and there it was....La Mia's. I went inside to see what they had to offer. It was your typical local pizza place. They served pizza, subs, wings, and paste. I asked the man if he served his pizza by the slice and he said, no. So I got a small pizza with black olives instead. He was very friendly and began making my pizza. I was shocked. He took a small ball of dough and rolled it out. Put on the sauce and the cheese. Chopped up some black olive and put them on the pizza....and finally, put it in the oven. A freshly made pizza. I was in heaven. I thought to myself, I hope it is as good as it looks. It was done in a matter of minutes. He gave me the pizza and I ran to my car. I opened the box (the smell was incredible)....then, the real test, I took a bite.... DELICIOUS!!!!!!! YUMMY in my TUMMY! This place is horrid. I was entertaining guests and suggested this location as a great place to eat. My friend ordered the Chicken Salad Sub and was shocked and disgusted to find a hair in her food. We promptly called back to the business and spoke to a man claiming to be the manager. Despite our respectful tone we were spoken to in a rude and demeaning manner. Once advised of the hair the manager stated that we were lying because there were no females working in the shop (We never claimed it was a female hair, in fact it was rather short). He also advised us that there was nothing he could do for us and if we have a problem to call the health department. Enjoyed a delivery pizza last night, and I think I'll be ordering from the again. The pizza was handmade, and the toppings were very good. I'm glad that they don't skimp on the sauce and cheese, which is one of my big complaints when it comes to many of the big box pizzas. The cheese had a great taste to it, and the misses and I scarfed down every bite, including the crusts! The pizza arrived hot within 25 minutes of ordering on a Friday night. My only complaint is I wish they would get their website up and running so I can order online at my leisure and view their menu & coupons. I didn't know what to expect and I played it safe and ordered a simple large pepperoni pizza. I wasnt disappointed at all. Disgusting. I order shrimp with Alfredo sauce and spaghetti with meat sauce. My alfredo sauce tasted more like heavy cream and had a sour taste. The meat sauce was more like tomato paste, chunky and dry. Both order was absolutely tasteless. This was my first time ordering from them and it will definitely be my last. I spent 33$ on my order. After waiting 15 minutes beyond the estimated delivery time, I called to inquire where my food is and the staff who answered automatically knew my street and said it was on the way! That's great, but the food was supposed to be here 15 minutes prior lol. So I wait some more thinking it will be here any minute. I waited an additional hour after the food was supposed to be delivered. For wings?? Mediocre wings?? This place is 9 minutes from my house. These workers at this place are horrible and thieves. We ordered 2 platter size spaghetti dinners 2 whole garlic breads and a family size salad that for some reason and with 2 4oz cups of salad dressing and on the menu the prices where very reasonable when we hung up we where thinking our price was totally different since we already added everything up they never gave us a full total price until we looked at our bank statement and realized we got charged $250 dollars we called to tell us they over charged and they said no they didn't this is the right price so we tried to cancel our order and they wouldn't let us cancel. The food was horrible and definitely not worth that much money I could have went to a five star restaurant and could have got way may and paid less of the price.
