I swung by here on the recommendation of a colleague. I'd never heard of the place before, but apparently it's part of a chain in the east Houston suburbs. The place doesn't look like much when you walk in, but sometimes simpler is better. That was definitely the case here. I ordered my burger and fries, and went with Cajun fries at the cashier's recommendation. The burger was thick and juicy, clearly made from fresh beef. The toppings were thick cut and added a nice heft to the burger. The fries were dusted with a seasoning that left no need for ketchup, but had enough kick that I refilled my drink a couple of times to help wash them down. Overall, it cost slightly more than I'd like to pay for a burger, fries, and drink during my lunch break, but definitely a place worth grabbing a bite to eat at if you're in the area. read more

You know it's really unfortunate when places have workers who don't care about the business at all. I called to speak to a manager and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and told me "you can leave a message" and I said "The manager isn't there..?" She then said "no you can leave a message and I'll pass it on"...So I'm like okay that's fine I'd like to inform you that my boyfriend came to y'all's restaurant around 12pm lunch time on his lunch break (mind you I told her everything he ordered) I then stated to her that when he got home later that day from work he was telling me how he was feeling very sick like he was going to pass out and throw up. Then sure enough he's asking me to help him go to the restroom because he's going to get sick. I told the lady all of this I wasn't asking for money or anything I told her I was simply wanting to inform them and management. She then responds back with "Why didn't you call earlier?" Don't be in a hurry like me. Check your order before you leave. Of the three times I've been, I've had service related issues. The first time they kept my order behind the counter without letting me know it was ready. Everyone else's order was brought out to them (dine-in and to-go). I let that one go since it was my first time there. The other two visits were requests to substitute mayo which was ignored even though the bag was stamped "SUB MAYO" in big red letters. The person at the counter even came out and asked if I wanted mustard but still gave me the order with mayo which upsets my stomach.
