During a prior cleaning/checkup, I raised concerns about a specific tooth with an existing filling and was told there were no concerns at that time. At my most recent visit, I was informed there was now significant decay underneath the filling requiring a much more expensive inlay procedure. When I later requested prior imaging of the area for comparison, I learned the prior visit did not include clear imaging of that specific tooth, which added to my frustration and confusion regarding the progression of the issue. I would think if a tooth already has a filling, there would be due diligence to monitor it appropriately. What was most disappointing, however, was the handling afterward. Management initially acknowledged the concerns, offered to assist with the treatment cost, and rescheduled my appointment for the next day, only for the appointment to later be canceled via email just a few hours beforehand with no call. After several days without communication, I was ultimately told to establish care with a different office, and the previously discussed treatment accommodation ultimately was not honored. I understand dental conditions can progress and treatment recommendations can change. However, I believe more thorough imaging, documentation, and earlier evaluation of the tooth could have provided greater clarity before recommending a significantly more invasive and expensive procedure. The communication and overall handling of the situation by management also fell far below what I expected as a long-term patient. This experience has ultimately left me feeling uncomfortable continuing care with this office and company as a whole.

At 10am I arrived at the clinic and I sat. After about half an hour the receptionist called me to get my information. After about another half an hour a nurse took Xray of my chipped tooth. Upon mentioning that I had a 1pm appointment the she asserted me that the chip it is going to be fixed. After another 15 minutes Dr. Khaled Daifallah came in. I told him that I had an appointment at 1pm and if he can fix the chip. His replied YES. He mentioned that eventually I need a crown and left. After 5 minutes the receptionist came and asked me which day I can come the following week for the crown and the cost will be $1,200. I repeated to him that now I need the toot repaired, His replied was that I need a crown before fixing the chip, I felt that the place was a " bait and switch" and I told it to the receptionist. Near my home I walked into Prestige Dental. After taking Xray on the spot the doctor fixed chip for $300. If eventually I need a crown it will be $1,000 **My recommendation: * before having done some dental work and be scammed have a free consultation at Prestige Dental , 12700 Midway, Dallas.

I had been told by the previous dentist that I would need a crown so I went totally anticipating getting one when to my surprise Dr Park told me that wouldn't be necessary (at least for the near future). I never thought I'd find another dentist like the one we had in NM but both my husband and myself are thrilled we did! Dr Parks staff is also so amazing! The office is very very clean and they check your temperature when you get in the door. I really like how Dr. Jung is honest, he shows you everything that may be wrong with photos so you know exactly what is the problem. There were 4 problem areas I had, but two of them were on watch but the other two was I had a small cavity and the other was a filling popped off. The whole thing was quick and not painful at all. They wanted to X-rays on my mouth, I asked why if I was referred by the general dentist and they just took X rays 2 weeks ago. The dental assistant responded the X-rays from other dentist office can come fuzzy. So we have to take our own. Also we need a picture of the tooth we are going a root canal on. So we proceeded with the X-rays since they needed a X-rays of the tooth. When the dentist assistant got me in the room she looked in my mouth and stated she want to look in my mouth. Then she stated she needed to hit my tooth the one that need the root canal. I asked her not too, the dentist assistant said she is going to go get the doctor. The doctor come in and introduce herself, and look at my extra X-ray and confirmed I had an infection around the root canal tooth and the infection has spreaded to the a little around the next tooth and you will need a re root canal. The dentist said she need to see my teeth, i the asked the doctor please don't hit my tooth ( root canal). She stated she was just going to look, after looking she stated she will need to hit my tooth. I said No I don't want you to hit my tooth because it would hurt. She asked me from a scale from 1-10 I said 7. I also told her the to is ONLY sensitive when you suck your teeth and when you hit it. The doctor proceeded to tell me the reason when she needed to hit my teeth, because she wanted to make sure the surrounding teeth don't need a root canal. I advised her I'm ONLY her for this one tooth. I am aware I need two other root canal but the surrounding teeth were not one. The doctor states "I can not do a root canal if I can tap you teeth". I stated, you just confirmed I needed o retreat on the tooth I cane here for so what's the problem". The dentist refuse and said she will mot work on my teeth. So I go to the front desk and clerk states I have to pay for X-rays which were almost $300. I said I should have to pay for X-rays when I advise the other dentist had X-rays and plus the doctor refuse to do the work. I didn't come here to pay almost $300 in X rays. The clerk said if you don't pay it will just go to a collections and on your credit. I said I would like to dispute the charge since she took X-rays that I already had and plus she refuse to finish the job. I asked the assist to provide me the Dentist Association where we can dispute the charge since there is a disagreement. The clerk went and spoke with the doctor. The clerk came back and said she does not have that information, I said the doctor do. The doctor came to the window and said since you wanna take me to court why do you wanna talk. I said I tried talking to you and you walked off. I tried again speaking with the doctor she was disrespectful by over talking me turning to the clerk talking to her as if I wasn't there, the tell me she Will not give me the dental association information I need to find it myself. And told her staff to leave the window. I sat on the couch and call the Dallas Dentist Association, and advise how should I proceed. The doctor called the police on me, luckily he was a nice guy I explained my situation, he told medical bills don't go on your credit and the doctor wanted to put trespassing on me if I returned. Which was dumb because she never told me to leave nor did I cause an out bust like she did. Which an unprofessional setting. All this just because I did want you to hit my sensitive tooth, when you had clear evidence from the X-ray. Completely Bad service!!!!!!! Also we could have talked about if but she was being rude and unprofessional.
