What a joke of a "business". They clearly do not care or respect "ALL" of their customers, so for that reason I highly suggest no one else does either.

I ordered a signature chocolate cake for an 80th birthday party. Hive did not disappoint! Not only was the cake beautiful to look at, it was also so delicious! Highly recommend!

I finally had gotten a chance to visit Hive last week after a couple friends recommended them to me. I got a treat for everyone in the family! One of my kids got a Krampus cookie, the other a giant brownie. I got to sneak a bite of the brownie & it's supper sweet/yummy! I had a cupcake which was delicious. My husband had a peanut butter cookie that was dipped in chocolate. I look forward to going again!

You know how you can find a restaurant or bakery on social media and absolutely fall in love with the idea of the place but then get there and actually try their products and be super disappointed? Well that was the complete opposite of what happened with Hive bakery. I was following them for a while online and finally got the chance to go in and try a few of their desserts. Their cookie dough brownie was probably the best brownie I've had in my entire life, and I've traveled all over the country trying different bakeries. The bakery itself was also beautifully decorated and well stocked on different shirts and merchandise as well. Service was good the person at the counter was very patient with us while I gushed over everything and kept adding to my purchase pile. From now on every time I'm in the dfw area I will be going to Hive bakery to get my sweet treat fix.

Love it! Neatest little bakery, got those sweet gothy alt vibes, lots of personality. Apparently they're primarily a professional "buy order" specialty business, but despite their small size they do have a nice selection of impulse purchases. Everything from fine dinner breads to cakes, pies, and individual desserts. Obviously well crafted and creative choices. And I completely appreciate the social activism integrated into their work. Here for it!

Square top peninsula bar to the left as you walk in and lounge area sofas and arm chairs to sit in groups to the right. Place is clean and just FYI it has one unisex bathroom and the place opens at 7 PM. This Friday night featured an appetizer menu, what I will call a munchies menu of tacos made by another vendor, and bottle cap bingo of all things. I tried the pecan bourbon old fashioned ($13) and found it to be good. I try to limit the add-ins somewhat and so I just stuck with Buffalo Trace on a large rock for the rest of the night. My wife had several mixed drinks that were in the $12 range. Matthias came up with a drink that was, per my wife, "sweet and strong." I thought maybe she was thinking of me when she ordered but she nixed that idea pretty quickly....LOL Mini-charcuterie ($12) I thought left something to be desired. Beef jerky added with just a toothpick of cured meats. Not sure how they fit three different types on there but they did and it was just enough to make you want more. Cheeses seemed to be basic run of the mill diced. Per my wife it was ok, but she would probably pass on ordering it again. It's not meant as an entree to be fair and there is a good portion as a whole, but just overly simple and a little light on proteins. I'd cut down the cheese and double the toothpick, also 86 that jerky stuff and probably have a decent plate. Maybe even through a couple extra strawberries on there. Two sisters sitting next to us ordered the artichoke and spinach dip. They said the dip was fine but the baguettes were way over-toasted (i.e. too dry) and that seems like an easy fix. Later in the evening during bingo I tried a couple of tacos. They are brought in and stored, reheated when ordered. Unfortunately it seems like it as the flour tortillas are quite soft and it just doesn't come out fresh. The relleno burrito is just a relleno wrapped in a flour tortilla; the potato and chorizo had my wife's approval and mine as well. Laura runs a good bar over there, and some of you may remember her from Torchy's down the road. Fair pours and prices commensurate for around the area. Bingo runs pretty quickly, even the blackouts and the organizer had a plinko game a la price is right style. Was a fun run down memory lane for me. In a bit of irony, we never ordered dessert, which is the main focus of this business during the week. The samples I saw looked pretty good and it seems like the bar is just a way to make use of the space off bakery hours which I can appreciate. To me though they are nearing that price range where I'd expect a little better from the kitchen for appetizers. About $120 was the overall tab which we capped with a 25% tip. Went home after having a good time but just felt they fell short on the food.

The name is misleading - these jars are plenty big for 2 or 3 people, not just 1. At $8 per jar for walk-up pricing, that's pretty good value. Due to a minor inconvenience, I am unable to give a better rating. More on that later…read more In the late afternoon, I had purchased four flavors as a gift: lemon, carrot, chocolate and red velvet. Red velvet was the one chosen to be eaten first. Due to the enjoyment of the gift recipient, I decided to come by later that evening to purchase one for myself. As did the daytime employee, the evening employee mentioned the new availability of the cheesecakes. The MAJOR difference is the recommendation of insulation bags. At first, I was confused why they needed the insulation. When I brought it home, I realized it was to keep the jar chilled during transport. Unlike the cakes, the cheesecakes cost $11.50. The $3.50 difference could be to offset the cost of the insulation bags. Also, the cheesecake most likely needs to be kept in the refrigerator. Only original cheesecake and lemon were still available, so I opted for the original. It tasted like a New York Cheesecake. At the bottom of the jar was the crust, next was the cheesecake filling, and finally topped with crumbles. It was an enjoyable cheesecake. I was running errands in the area, so I had arrived a couple minutes before noon. I parked and waited in my car until noon. Unfortunately, when I approached the store, the lights were off. I doubled checked Yelp in case the location recently closed. Fortunately, when I decided to try again several hours later in the day, the store was open.
