ROSARIO AND CAROLYN CASSATA AT THE BREAKERS HOTEL PLAM BEACH FLORIDA.

HMF is a bar and restaurant situated in the famous Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. The ambiance is both elegant and vibrant. They serve drinks, sushi, and a variety of small plates. This is the ideal spot to visit at the Breakers when the other dining options are busy or not open. There is a spacious bar featuring an extensive wine selection and ample seating throughout.

A friend and I visited HMF after dinner. It has a classic cozy vibe. We sat at the bar and ordered a specialty drink. It was very good. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was delicious.

Stopped in for a late night drink. The drinks were amazing as always. Make sure you take your parking ticket to get validated. If you spend $35 the will validate the parking for valet

Every time I am in Palm Beach this is my go to do Cocktails. And I always order the onion dip because it truly is delicious and the beat onion dip in your life. I tried dessert this time and it was also so good you will be sad when is finished! HMF has an atmosphere that you can't get anywhere else in South Florida. The staff is very attentive and makes sure that you are happy with your drinks and food. It is certainly pricey but that's to be expected in Palm Beach but it is very much worth it as well. The quality is top notch!

The food was excellent, the scenery was luxurious and our server Lexi was fabulous - pleasant and excellent at her job. She made our first experience at the Breakers wonderful and we definitely will be back!!

Place to go after dinner for drinks and dessert. Such a relaxing fun place. Easy give your phone number and can wait with a drink outside until you have a table or just chill at the bar if you don't want to eat.

HMF is a bar/restaurant located at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. I stayed at the hotel during my vacation and HMF was the perfect place to grab some food and drinks. Upon seating they served me some warm nuts. I ordered a chocolate espresso martini which was delicious. For my dinner I got the Palm Beach Sushi Roll, and I might be going out on a limb here, but that was the best tasting sushi I've ever had in my life! It was so delicious! You have to try it! For dessert I ordered the Warm Chocolate "Whoppie Pie" Sundae. I've had the Amish whoppie pies before and these weren't like those. This one was honestly just alright and I'd probably skip it next time. I ended up dining here a second time the next morning. I was supposed to have brunch at The Circle but unfortunately it was closed that morning for an event, so I had to get breakfast at HMF. It was pretty good too but I would have prefered to try something else at the hotel.

This bar/restaurant is very very vibey and trendy!! The service was great even when it was really busy! We didn't get any food but the bar snacks were good!

Went here for a few small bites and drinks with a friend. The Breakers is known for its ambiance so of course this place is beautiful. Our drinks was strong and pleasing to the eye. We only had pork bao buns + wagyu beef sliders + baked Alaska and they were all tasty. Our waitress was one of the best I've had, she was very attentive and patient with us ordering as we were talking and stayed to dine for awhile. I can't wait to return for happy hour or dinner again. If you haven't been - please go you won't be disappointed. *Valet is $35 but $20 when validated at the restaurant*

Is there high tea every day? Thanks in advance!

Looking a old school RnB lounge, good and dance?

Not RnB lounge for sure. they had music on one of the weekend nights- dj played house and chill music. be careful about the service in the bar- snobby waitresses and not friendly bartenders. the buffet was really nice, but again I did not hear rnb…

Is it required that you are staying at The Breakers in order to dine at HMF?

I noted that the pork belly in my kimchi fried rice was very hard and chewy (overcooked) which should not be the case. Otherwise I could taste the kimchi which was good. Around the table, there were fried chicken wings, a big juicy burger, French fries (very tasty) and one of my cousins have the special skewered chicken from the Brazilian menu. She reported the chicken to be very bland despite its colorful appearance. All in all, everyone said, their food was "OK." The specialty drinks, Caipirinha (X 2) were good. Service was wonderful --our server Susan checked on us often. She was very attentive (we did pay for a reserved table & attention, I suppose). The manager checked on us twice to make sure we were having a good time and we were - generally speaking. It's a beautiful rooftop. For the manger & waitress, I would return and I'll give the kimchi fried rice another try as well - don't overcook and cook even more in caste iron dish. Cheers!

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.
