Dinner time! We had been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while and finally made it in. Upon arrival, we were greeted with very loud music. The ambiance is visually appealing, with plenty of interesting art to enjoy. We were seated promptly, though our server, who came by a few minutes later, did not introduce themselves--a detail that can impact the dining experience and is often overlooked. We ordered the guacamole, which was flavorful, though the chips were served cold, which detracted from the dish. On the bright side, the drinks--Pineapple Express and Sam Adams Summer Ale--were both enjoyable and well-made. Our server was attentive, noticing when my partner's beer was getting low and promptly offering to replenish it--a nice touch. Both of our entrées arrived quickly and were quite impressive. I had the quesadilla with jack cheese and shrimp, while my husband opted for the steak chimichurri. Both dishes were flavorful and well-executed, adding to a positive dining experience. For dessert, we decided on the flan and brownie sundae. Both were beautifully presented and tasted just as good as they looked. The service here is absolutely trash. We walked in here and there were only three people sitting at the bar and the whole restaurant was empty around 6 PM. The server told us we have to be up before 8:30 because the seats were reserved..... I'm pretty sure we would've been done in 2 1/2 hours which we were because we were only 3 people but the fact that the whole place was legit EMPTY seemed a bit funny. The server was rude and not friendly at all. We ordered drinks which were $14 and tasted disgusting, our tacos were cold and not the usual "Hobrah" experience that we are very familiar with from the Brooklyn location. If I can give this place, no stars I would I recommend that they go into the Brooklyn location for training- especially for customer service. We still ended up leaving a tip but she really deserved nothing as I'm still in shock at the rudeness. Even in McDonald's you'll get a thank you have a good day, Abs nothing. Terrible service with no one in the restaurant. Very long time to take order, never brought menus, had to go to bar to ask for more drinks and check, food came wrong, with ridiculously tiny portion for guac and literally ten chips on a giant oversized plate that looked like it was taunting us, drinks smelled like dirty rag, no one came to give us the check or ever checked on the table. Felt discriminated against for my visible disability as one server would not even look me in the eye and pretended not to hear me then said: I'm not working today. The last time we were there that server helped us with the exact same order, ordered the exact same way but my psoriatic arthritis was not visible that day and I was not visibly swollen with sensitive skin. I mean she couldn't even make eye contact she literally pretended we weren't there. It was too hot in there and they didn't bother to acknowledge us when we walked in or take our order until other people showed up as if we were invisible. Aloha Wings turned out to be delicious and ended up to be the best dish we tried that night. They were done to perfection and had a very flavorful interesting sauce/glaze. We then ordered several different tacos and one Steak Chimichurri. Long Beach All Star, Korean BBQ, and Bohemian tacos had very dry hardly-chewable meat, very little of no-meat ingredients, and almost no sauce which made them even more dry. Add to this a thick dry corn tortilla and you get a worst-tasting-taco :( Out of all ordered tacos only Cabo Fish and Classic Cali Fish tacos were decent. Not perfect, but ok. They also were quite dry due to scarce sauce and additions, but better than the other three. Not sure, why this was the case with all tacos. Was the chef feeling greedy that day? The fish was good though, so these fish tacos could be made delicious, but they were not. Steak Chimichurri (ordered medium rare) came looking great but turned out to be well-done. Later on the receipt I found it was written down as "medium". My son ate it but it was unimpressive, just ok to stuff the belly of a hungry teenager. The beans served on the side were from a can. We all agreed on this based on their taste and this was not nice. The service was average and unremarkable. Unfortunately, the place didn't meet expectations on food and we are not coming back. We cannot recommend this restaurant. I wonder if the food is better in other locations but I'm not too eager to try. Couple of suggestions to the owners: a) For tacos provide a choice of "Homemade Corn Tortilla" and a regular thin soft flour taco/tortilla. I understand it's the matter of preference but it's so easy to give your customers a choice on this. b) Please don't serve canned beans or any other canned food. read more

Even tho this is a chain , they still have great tacos . We stopped for lunch since we were in the area . Prices are a few dollars more from the last time we ordered from the store in New Dorp. Came here with my mom, aunt, and grandma for lunch on a Friday. We were given menus, but there was no mention of a lunch special, which my mom had seen online. We thought maybe it was just if you ordered online takeout, but we figured we'd ask anyway. The waitress only responded with "yes we do." We had to ask her what the special was. It felt like we had to pry information from her, which should've been given to us on the menu. Also, we had to ask her for chips and salsa, which every other occupied table had already. Another great find while driving around; Quick lunch after a day of shopping. I love a restaurant with cute and trendy decor. This restaurant has amazing selfie props and great lighting. We arrived at 2pm with only 3 other ppl already dining. Food was nothing spectacular to talk about but it also wasn't horrible. If your looking for a quick lunch with great flavor, fast service and creative drinks this is the spot for you. Hobrah is a fun restaurant and the atmosphere is fun but the service here is absolutely horrendous. We walked in there were two tables and 2 young kids working. We were told to sit anywhere so we did. We sat for about 10 minutes and no one came over. No one said we will bring you water, no chips and salsa. We walked out. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to the new Ho Brah location. I am not a huge fan of the original location; however, I decided to give this one a shot as it is closer to me and one of the few Mexican restaurants around this area. To start, their lot is small and the urgent care (around COVID times) is extremely busy so parking was not the easiest. Menu appeared to be the same, prices are alright, full bar open and ready to serve. Service was attentive and quick, chips and guacamole came out within minutes of ordering! We all got different dishes and enjoyed our food. I got a "wet burrito" which was a huge portion and really quite yummy. A bit messy to eat, but I'd say worth the mess! I was so excited about this place opening and trying a new spot. I know they just opened and they are working out the kinks, but I'll review on my recent visit. No fault of there own, but parking is hard, they lot is small and the spaces are tight. I walked inside and I was liking the decor. Got my kids food in right away and said chips and salsa would be right out. My kids food came out and the french fries were ice cold. 15 minutes later no chips and dip. While they were a little crowded, they were not understaffed. I had to ask someone else to get them. The tacos came out small,I thought they were like white castle size but a hefty price. They weeokay, the food was bland just like the chips, lack of flavor. What really pisses my off was I ordered a drink and they asked if I wanted salt or sugar on the rim. Come to find out when I got the bill, there was a $2 charge for salt. Never in my life was I charged for salt on a rim, talk about nickel and diming customers. The least the server could have done was say there was an additional price. My experience was okay and unless they fix the issues, I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

I've been the first two letters of the name for this place since Forest Ave, and let me say! The Arthur Kill location is the best thus far. The food here is sensational! Always fresh always on point! I had Jahawd the first few times and literally have never seen someone so fast and attentive, never messed up any of our orders ! I also had Grey a couple of times and she was so sweet and so personal! The staff over all is amazing! Even down to the amazing host Lauren that sat us a few times! This location is just NOT good...I've been to every other location and have always enjoyed my food. This one needs serious work...my shrimp empanadas which I normally LOVE were so gross...there was oil spilling out of them and did not have the same flavor I'm used to having.
