The bartender was excellent and made some great recommendations, he did say they had the 'coldest beer on tap' and I can't really argue! It was cold and was great for a hot day. The dude that took our order was no help in recommendations except The wrap is huge. It's the size of a burrito. Saw a coworker and she thought it was a burrito. I got the Pismo wrap and it had their curly fries in there. Didn't care for them. Plus it tasted like they add old, stale fries in there. They for sure weren't fresh. I only ate half of the wrap. We have amazing tri tip in Bakersfield and this was NOT IT. There was tri tip in the wrap. Not my favorite. It was on the dry side. Probably inly thing I enjoyed during my meal was my Upgraded side, sweet potato fries. Loved those. It was perfect and crispy. The clam chowder is ok. It's not Splash. I like that you have the option to add the crab and shrimp to it. My husband got the hamburger wrap. I can't remember what that was called but he seemed to like it. So back to my wrap. I offered my brother the left over portion of my wrap when I saw him. Asked him what he thought. He said the fries were weird. Glad it wasn't me....probably stale fries. They just opened up here in Bakersfield. This is our first time trying it. We came with my wife and granddaughter. It is very nice in here. I would say it a sports bar, feel but it's very nice right from the beginning. The service was fantastic. You place your order and then you get a seat. We had our food within 10 minutes. We were asked if we needed anything within two minutes of setting down the service is fantastic. They've got a huge selection of beers on tap. Looks like they have a bunch of different wines definitely worth giving a try. read more

We've been to the Bakersfield location twice. The portions are good size and tasty, but the menu should have pricing. It would be nice to have more low top seating, customers migrated to those and they're awkwardly arranged. The high top seats are very narrow and hurt to sit on. The server skipped over the receipt on the hand held machine to cash out, and just handed it to us to pay. This is shady. I want to be back for the food, but the service may keep us away. read more

Came to see what the hype was all about. Location was great. They took over the old 2nd phase brewing and remodeled it very nicely. Our 1st time my girlfriend and I tried the dirty bird and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The dirty bird had too much of the fries in there which already came with a ton of fries in the side. The cheesesteak lacked flavor IMO. So we decided to come back another time to give it another shot. I got the fish n chips with clam chowder and my girlfriend got the big Italian. Both were really great and made up for the first time we came. Service was pretty good judging by how busy it was. First time and it was not a good experience! We arrived about 2 ish and I ordered the fish and chips with a side of fried clams. I'm very familiar with deep fried fish and clams for I too was a cook in my earlier days. The fish was obviously twice fried thinking I received what was not sold from lunch. The fish was so over fried that the batter was very hard, dark and hollow on the ends from being twice fried soaked in oil! The clams were also twice fried for they were so dark and rubbery! The smaller pieces were so overcooked it was like eating corn nuts! Some fries were hot and others were cold! The menus did not show the cost for each item but thought I'd check it out anyway. Walked out paying over $75 for just two people in which we ate less than half which was a total disappointment! I am not lying to you when I say about 10 minutes after we left , I developed a stomach ache which was probably from the saturated oil in the meal! We went again a few weeks back and had a totally different experience the service was horrible when we got there the servers were just in a corner chatting it up so we patiently waited for about 10 minutes for them to end there conversation and tend to us, we ordered our food and me and my husband had ordered two drinks from the bar let me add the red was not busy at all there were only 4 other customers there. So they took our order and we waited and waited and waited it took about 20 minutes for our food to be done and the worst part is that the food was ready the cooks were ringing the bell for the servers to come and pick it up but again they were to busy with there conversation to tend to us we also hadn't received our drinks yet it took about another ten minutes for us to get our food and we only got it because I had went and asked them why my food was taking so long if it was in the window in which the girl replied sorry it must've just came up which was not the case. So we got our food only to be disappointed the tri tip was dry and taste less so I called the server over and told her that my tri tip tacos tasted bad the meat tasted old and dry in which her response was it probably is old our kitchen holds it in the walk in for four days.. now that was horrifying she asked me if I wanted it remade I told her not if it's the same tri tip she said that all the there tri tip was from previous days and the one made that day would be put in the walk in and be used after the old ones so I said no thank. We had also ordered chicken wings and ate some to find out they were raw that I will post a picture of after that we let our kids finish eating and left we will never go back after this . Had to try the fish and chips on Friday and a beer. We sat at the barand the service was great. We got to sample the Mango IPA and it was really tasty.
