I was trying to compare this location with the one in Burbank when I walked in. I think this is slightly smaller than Burbank. Anyways, they still have all your crafts and home goods needs. If you haven't been inside a Hobby Lobby, you're somewhat kind of missing out...lol... There's literally everything, a Michael's, Joann's and toss of Home Goods. I love that everytime you walk in there's alway some kind of sale going on. And when they have the sales, it's alway worth it. 40-50 percents off and sometime more. This visit I needed some stuff for putting together orchids arrangements. The pots that they have are pretty well priced and beautiful. Clean and modern is what I was looking for which I found some pots for 5.99 a piece. Can't beat that. And the moss, this place was the only place that I found a massive bag of moss for an amazing deal of 9.99 for the bag. Even other crafts stores varies about the same or more but for a way smaller bag. Instantly walking in the store, you're pretty much going to see something that'll catch your eye. I have to limit myself on what to come for and stick to that as it ends up being things I didn't need. But at the time I needed it then...lol.... Oh, during the holidays is the time it's alway loaded with amazing stuff and the deals are excellent. I dint know if it's a regular thing for them but I do love that they'll have loads of items on sale before the holidays so load up. Plenty of parking which is a major plus. I did noticed that there wasn't many cashier on deck when I stopped by. Both times, there was maybe 2 the most ringing up people. I recommend coming during the day or when they open up. We came here after dinner to walk around it looks like any other Hobby Lobby. It seems like everything is 50% off or some kind of sale, my kid was able to pick up some small toys for the day and that made him happy. Only one cashier was open and there were 2 other employees standing near a register talking. I'm assuming one was the M.O.D as she was not in uniform. The checkout line was growing long and someone paged another employee up front. That employee went over to the farthest register from our line, and rang up a purchase for ANOTHER EMPLOYEE and ignored the line. The employee that paid left the store and the other one walked away. I was ready to say something, when the lady I call the MOD, looked right at me, and said she could ring me up. I have only been in a Hobby Lobby once and this was because I was with a group who dragged me along; being that this brand does not provide full health care to women is something I don't agree with. But today I needed an item that I knew they carried, so I held my nose and ventured inside. I walked up to the stock person to inquire where I could find feather boas, and the young man was absolutely charming in how he assisted me. Being that he was obviously LGBTQ, I was pleased to know that Hobby Lobby would not discriminate against him. As I checked out, the sales clerk asked me why I was buying multiple feather boas, wondering if there is another festival coming up? After explaining that they are for my cat to play with, she lit up and we had a very nice conversation. I saw an LGBTQ couple checking out at the next register and was relieved to know this store was a safe place for all. It made me rethink my avoidance of Hobby Lobby, though I will never be OK with their using religion to deny full health care to employees who do not subscribe to their religion. Horrible management at the fabric section bought my fabric 09/26 and tried to return today 10/10 since I have no use for the black fabric I thought I would need. Cecile said it's been over a month when it hasn't it's been 2 weeks! And she was the same person that helped me when I purchased maybe the managers should check her measurements before blaming the customers of theft and returning "some fabric" They charged me for 3 yards when I purchased it I tried to return the same fabric in same conditions I bought it and they told me it was missing some, "they don't take customer word for it " yet I got less than 3 yards and was charge for 3. Go to Michael's or Walmart for better service. I shop here 3 times a week as I am a content creator for tik tok! Your cashier Veronica is ALWAYS so sweet and always willing to help me with whatever I need. Today's visit wasnt that great! Although she was amazing her management staff was not! She was assisting me with something I needed and instead of the manager jumping on a register Veronica was asked twice to leave me and go ring up customers. There were 3 employees standing there at the register. One asking for zip codes and another manager talking with customers another associate was putting together signage. My goal was to spend 100 dollars. After that exchange I decided not to shop any further. I left spending only 33 dollars and took my business down the street. I was told by the manager at the time that they are not allowed to jump on registers to help customers. Why not? Customers hardly want to spend money right now anyways. To each its own! Upon leaving the store, I was told by the manager that he would refuse service to me next time because my children waved their hands through the beads a few times. I made them stop once I noticed. It's shocking to me that she still holds a position at this establishment. To summarize my experience, Jeanne was far from helpful. Instead of offering assistance, she actually walked away from me without even acknowledging my presence or taking a moment to address my concerns. When I confronted her at the register, her unpleasant demeanor persisted, with her even rolling her eyes. I took the initiative to reach out to corporate about this issue, but it appears that my call fell on deaf ears. It's truly disappointing that Hobby Lobby seems to be indifferent to the negative impact Jeanne's actions have on their customers' experiences. Shame on you, Hobby Lobby! One of my favorite stores just to hang out in and check out the humongous variety of merchandise. I was amazed at their huge variety of Christmas ornaments. You could decorate a dozen trees! Ornaments of every kind. Also plenty of other hobby items for the crafty person. Beads for creating jewelry. Wax and candle molds for making candles. Candy molds. The list goes on and on. I went to the Rancho Mirage, Ca. store this evening to get stuff for a couple projects I'm working on, with one of the projects being in a small bag. This is not the first time I've shopped this location. On this trip, I was harassed by 2 of the managers. As I was entering the store, a manager was leaving (she saw me with the bag, by the way, as she wouldn't quit glaring at me walking in). Once I was inside, she turned around, followed me in and told the cashier to call a "code 10" for who I assume was the PM manager. As they waited for him to come up front, the manager who was supposed to be leaving, followed me to a display I was standing in front of, pretending to give closing orders to said cashier while watching me. Once the PM manager arrived, he ALSO began following me. No matter what aisle I was in or what part of the store, he was there; acting like he was "organizing" a shelf. The managers and cashier made me extremely uncomfortable. I was targeted, yet neither manager bothered to speak to me about what their concerns were with my being there. I've never stolen or caused an issue there. Or any store for that matter. This treatment was absolutely unacceptable and I am filing a complaint. read more

Never coming here again. I am now a proud customer of Michael's. Jeanie this psychopath who works at Hobby Lobby came over to my cart and started touching my stuff. I asked what she was doing and she was saying things like "where did you put that paint brush". I asked what brush she was talking about as I do not paint nor had a paint brush and she just kept looking into my cart. She then grabs wife's purse and opens it. As I entered, I was a bit overwhelmed by the plethora of home decor and crafting supplies this place has to offer. Holy smokes. Seriously, there is something for everyone in this place, and I do mean everyone. I really don't even know where to begin, so I decided to just snap some photos, and cruise around then place with the girls. I think I know why they can rack up such a good sized receipt in this place, and why when they say they are taking a trip to Hobby Lobby, I am in disbelief when they say they didn't go anywhere else. My autistic son was getting more and more anxious and kept throwing things out of our cart. Tried my best to keep him occupied and then another associate opened up a line and said they would take the next person in line. I went here recently and I was just trying to get a few items when I realized that I was being followed around the store everywhere and given dirty looks by some older male employee. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe here since I was by myself and a younger woman and I got creeped out. When I went to checkout, him and another employee were by the register and when I went to leave the man followed me outside, and when I got to my car he walked over and took a picture of my license plate... I don't know why they decided to single me out, but one thing to mention is that I was the only person of color in that store, just me, a little Mexican girl, and a bunch of white people. I shop here a lot and everyone is very friendly but today I encountered the rudest manager I've ever met here. Her name was Jeanie. Jeanie and an associate were putting together a display in the main aisle. I asked for help with a locked cabinet and was told that someone would meet me there. We waited awhile and nobody came. When I waved at Jeanie again she came over, irritated, and said "you know you're not the only customer in the store." Clearly I was surprised since I had a clear view of Jeanie and the associate working on the display and not with customers. Plus the store was pretty slow at that time. When I replied she said, "uh you know what?" Like she was going to threaten me. I was shocked. I can have a sharp tongue also but just said ok and asked for her name. If you're ever at Hobby Lobby, don't bother Jeanie or she will snap at you!! Oh and when I went to the check out I saw an associate walk up to her to ask a question and she snapped, "what?? Reminder: we are the only people of color in the store and she and her coworkers decide to follow us around thinking we wouldn't notice.
