A few months ago, I started coming to this HobbyTown as my go-to store for Gundam kits, Warhammer, modeling supplies, paints, and more. From my very first visit, I noticed a beautiful, hard-to-find item on display, one I was immediately interested in buying. I asked about purchasing it and was told it wasn't for sale because it was on layaway for another customer. Months passed, and the item remained on display, unclaimed. HobbyTown's own policy states that items on hold should be reshelved after 60 days. Each time I visited, I asked if it was available to purchase, as it was clearly well past that window. I was finally told that if I came in person, the owner could decide whether to sell it to me. So, I drove over an hour this morning, only to be told the item is now being held for an employee. That's unacceptable. It's unethical for a business to showcase a product, ignore their own policies, and refuse to sell it to customers because they're indefinitely holding it for an unnamed employee. Not only was my time wasted, but it left a bad impression. I've since purchased the item on Amazon and will no longer support a store that hides behind policies they don't even follow, especially when it comes to hoarding rare items for staff while misleading customers by keeping them on display.

Went to look for new tires and wheels for my Original Traxxas Rustler (1st Gen). The car came ready to run out of the box with Pro Comp 2.2 wheels and tires, front and rear. So I go to Hobby Town and ask about 2.2 tires for my original Traxxas Rustler and they tell me that a rustler never came with 2.2 tires and then the woman working there decided to tell me that she's been in the business for more than 20 years and Rustlers come with 2.8 Wheels. I said no my car came with 2.2 and then she says I must have changed them. Nope they came out of the box with 2.2 inch tires. So 20+ years of experience, she still doesn't know what she's talking about. I guess you're never too old to learn. Believe your customer next time they tell you something. I found this YouTube video of an original Traxxas Rustler, which is the exact same as mine that came stock with 2.2 inch tires https://youtu.be/GD4EvJCh0kY?si=dDPNy9GHYA3kC4ZK

the man in the black hoodie was very helpful . The other gentleman in the black collared shirt I believe was the manger had the worst customer service and was rude/unprofessional he seemed to hate his job. I drive 1 hr away to get my parts here and they were saying little comment like I was a bother.

I'm always looking for new hobby stores near where I live so after doing a quick search on Yelp, HobbyTown came up. I arrived here on a weekend with my sister and man, was it busy and packed. The store has a pleasantly solid Gunpla selection and there were many in stock. I would say that the kits are decently priced as well. I managed to snag two boxes of Gunpla and I'm hoping to go back another time to add more to my collection.

Choosing this place was the best decision--so much easier than hosting at home or elsewhere. I've done swim parties, character parties, jump parties, and Chuck E. Cheese, but this was by far the easiest and most enjoyable. All I had to do was show up with pizzas and cupcakes, and everything else was taken care of. No cooking, cleaning, decorating, or entertaining--the staff handled it all! The kids had a blast, the parents got to relax, and the event was the perfect length--not too long or too short. I received so many compliments about how creative the party was, and the truth is, I didn't have to do a thing except book it. The store's owners and staff were amazing--friendly, attentive, and great with the kids. One of the best things about this place is that it works perfectly whether you have two kids or fifteen--everyone will have a great time. The pricing is incredibly reasonable and worth every penny. We'll definitely be hosting more parties here in the future. I'm so thankful for such an amazing experience!

I have loved Legos since the 80s when I first started playing with them, and I love them just as much today as I continue to play with them along side my children. B&M is the epitome of a Lego lovers dream zone, if ever there was one. I prefer it to the Lego stores itself, A) because it's closer to my house, but B) and most importantly because the staff is so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. All of which help with customer service, but more so when dealing with Lego Engineers. I 100% recommend coming to this store for all your Lego needs. And if you have any doubt, let them fall to the way side because this is the spot. For some context, my son and I had been putting together a F1 racer and one of the pieces was missing from the box. He had to go back to his mom's house before we could figure out a solution. I called up the guys at Bricks and minifigs they said they probably had the piece in their Lego pits and come on down bc loose pieces were on sale. Not only did they have the piece, they had 2 others I was missing from other sets. It took me 5 mins to find, and was out the door to finish our build. When he came back a few days later he was so thrilled we could finish. Not all super heroes wear capes.

The store is beautiful. Lots of souvenirs and antiques that you can find. Theres probably something for everyone you want to gift -- theres greeting cards, tea sets, animal statues, rings and necklaces, soap bars and ones dispensers, and other trinkets Normally I dont post about my dislike of being obviously followed in a store, but now it's my turn. I technically shouldnt be salty since I had always been law-abiding, but today was a very surprising one! You can tell based on my pfp that I tend to dress nicely, almost old money or New Yorker style. I was the best dressed of my crew that day, and we were still followed -- and not even in a professional way lol, the person was not slick Cant tell if they were a lady or dude but it was almost certain that they were related to the old ladies working at the store. This person tailed my friends and I wherever we went, to the point of blatantly blocking the already narrow aisles and standing behind people with their arms crossed. I go to Ross Dress for Less a lot and am used to security, of course -- but blocking paths and colliding into people is where I draw the line. And where I start posting a review Come here for trinkets and stuff. But get ready to pay for slightly expensive goods -- it's to pay for the security kid who blocks your path
