The only place near us that we're open and they delivered to our hotel! The delivery driver even called to let us know he couldn't drop it off at my door due to privacy policies with the hotel. Location: Location of this place sucks. It's like a block away from the ARCH downtown so there are quite a few homeless people walking around. If you're walking there late at night, it's best to not go alone or take some pepper spray maybe. The inside of this place is very small. There are only 3 tables so it's probably best to order to go. Food: We tried the Hawaiian pie (18'). It was delicious. The slices are big and thin. If you aren't into that then this place is not for you. The ingredients tasted pretty fresh and the pineapple was super juicy which made me happy. However, it took 40 mins to get our pie which would have been understandable had they been busy, but that was not the case. If you were looking to just get a pizza by the slice, then that took about 5 mins so a lot faster than ordering a pie. I personally would not drive there if I wasn't already near by. However, if you're into the drinking scene, then I guess this place would be pretty convenient being that it is open until 2AM read more

I'm a ranch with pizza person so I couldn't not try their "secret" sauce when I saw it on the menu. Oh boy did that sauce not disappoint. I have missed really really good pizza!!! Hoboken Pie will transport you back to good ole upper east coast pizza! After living in NJ for several months, I felt like a pizza connoisseur, flying to Chicago, etc - I kid you not, I really love(d) pizza! Hoboken Pie will help save me a plane fare this time, as I finally found a local spot with massive-sized pizza slices and massive good taste! Do yourself a favor & try the Mission Pizza! Heads up, if you order a large pizza, you'll want to eat it soon because these incredible pies are too big to fit in a standard oven! We also tried the fancy bread... that was so tasteful it's now our perfect go-to for a standard size dinner for 2! Tried to order a pizza via phone when I was informed by a recording that I needed to place the order online. Fine. Placed the order, and didn't get an update to the pending status for 30 minutes. Fine. Expected the order would still be timely, but no, delivery time was about an hour and 45 minutes after the pending update. that's two hours and 15 minutes... for a pizza. Tried to call as soon as the pending status updated because that is a ridiculous amount of time for A PIZZA, but apparently no one at this establishment knows how to answer a phone. This was not at a Friday night rush time. For a pizza that you charge way too much for, you can do way better than this. This sucks. read more

The food was phenomenal, the service was fast and I even got stuck in traffic and couldn't make my pick-up time of 4pm, ended up getting there closer to 5pm and they remade my pizza fresh for me. Backstory: I lived in New York my entire life (25 years) so I'd like that to be reference when we talk about this genuinely delicious pizza. First off, they sell by the slice, which is a real New York/Jersey thing. The pizza crust was crispy but not hard, the cheese was melted and creamy but not messy. The marinara sauce is incredible and homemade. Everything about this place from the customer service to the pizza and marinara sauce was incredible. This place brought back memories of New York. This is the closest to a New York slice you'll find even though it is called Hoboken Pie . I will be back ! The pizza itself isn't too bad. They have some lunch specials that would be awesome if they actually had them. I tried for a slice and a small greek salad, but they didn't have any romaine lettuce. I changed it to a spinach salad and they said they had no spinach and then said they had no lettuce at all. Basically, by the time I got to the register to order, they had slices of vegetable pizza, pepperoni pizza and cheese pizza. I had a vegetable and a pepperoni for my 7.00 lunch special. If I wasn't with a group of people that really wanted to eat here, I would have moved on to any of the other restaurants on the block that had remembered to order their produce before the lunch rush. read more

Pretty good pizza! Owners are from Hoboken, so I expected that even though we all know it's the water that makes pizza from NY/NJ so good! I got the lunch special with 2 slices (pepperoni) and a soda for $8. The pizza was cooked right. Crust was good. Sauce good... the right crunch and all of that. The Soda was EXCELLENT. Oooh, this is a pretty good pie. The company I work for tends to cater from ESP more than here but today that changed. I'm a big fan on the Hoboken Supreme - loaded with toppings yet the crust holds up to the weight. The toppings are also well balanced - I get a burst of salty meat with the veg so that I can perfectly enjoy every bite. The pork and poultry is alright - if salty/sweet/savory/spicy is your kinda thing, you'll love this one. It's kinda hard to tell where my palate wants to go after taking a bite out of this. That and the bbq sauce is a bit on the too sweet side that overwhelms the delicate balance to pull this off. But hey, maybe you'll like the adventure more than me. Also, great job, and smart move, adding the new appetizers like "Yard Bird" to the menu! I have had pizza from this place about three times but have tried getting food more times than received. This is by far the worse pizza I have ever had. They are lazy when they make their pizzas. Every time I've gone here, I've had an upset stomach, sending my running to the restrooms. Greasy pizza would be an understatement and for the price, it is a joke how little toppings you get. Since I work down town, I have few choices to eat and this place would be a good place to grab a quick bite but they recently have had odd hours that conflict with my lunch schedule resulting in me, as well as others I work with, not being able to eat from here period. I will never go back to this place. I do not care if covid is a factor since every restaurant around there is open and serving their customers with adequate operating hours. Picked up two extra large pizzas to go and the vegan cheesy bread. The pizzas were ready at the designated time, and they'd even been keeping them stacked on top of the oven to keep warm. Let me tell you - the extra large pizzas are no joke, they're huge! Definitely enough to feed a crowd. Given the size I was extra impressed with how evenly and perfectly cooked the crust was - no burnt crust or crumbs to be found as previous reviewers stated. We also really loved the flavor of the pizza, we got a cheese and a supreme and both had an excellent balance of sauce to cheese to toppings and the taste was great. I did not personally try the vegan cheesy bread, but my vegan coworker seemed to be delighted to have an option and ate almost all of it.
