Ham, cheese omelet with hashbrown & toast...
    Eddy R.

Hey... Good morning, came to Hocking Hills on a retreat with 2 more couples. On our last day we wanted to eat out get breakfast. As we entered greeted nice showed us to table. Took our drinks fairly quick. Waited a few minutes to take our order. That's where it took the turn for the beginning of the worst. All of our meals missed a lot. After everyone got their meals we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for 2 French toast 1 sausage. The eggs on 1 person were fried hard not over easy. 2 French toast were soggy & inedible. The food on another had hair to which had hair inexcusable no apologies just said "I'll take the 1 bacon & 1 egg off". The price was overrated in just going on to what I had. I had a ham & cheese omelet toast & hashbrown were extra. My omelet & toast were ONLY $10. 99, the potatoes were $3.99. So $15 to eat that & that's real expensive just had water if I had anything else to drink it'll be almost $25 added tip. The 2 stars were for the person who took us to table & took our drink order. The waitress could get some customer service teaching... I've gotta stop right here because the owners won't do anything about this. But hey it's OK that's their problem we DEFINITELY WON'T BE BACK... ***BUEN PROVECHO***

Nice little place that we went to eat before hiking. Food was delicious and a great price. We will be back! Also, there's a donut place next door (they don't have a their business in Yelp) and they have delicious donuts!! Maple bacon- yes please!!

Got breakfast here and it was yummy despite not looking the best. Wait was long and our waitress was not the best.

Doesn't look like much from the outside. We took a chance and went inside.... We will definitely go back!

The food selection was everything and more! It wasn't greasy, and it all tasted amazing! All of the staff was friendly and quick too! It's a cute little (bigger than I expected though) diner!

    Dessert cooler.

Tried the buffet. Food was wonderful. It definitely could have been bad with how busy they were. Almost every table was filled, had a 10 minute wait before we could sit. Our waitress continuously checked on us for drink refills, and taking away dirty plates. No complaints! Good food, good service!

Ate half of the pancake the sausage was spit out and that was all of the egg on the plate....

We walked in, it wasn't busy which should have been a clue. Three ladies gathered by the register yet no one greeted us and then finally took us to a booth. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a simple order BUT they managed jt. Toasted burned , the egg on my plate would have fit in a tablespoon-- also looked. It looked nothing like a real egg.... Sausage was a tiny link and was DRY and hard (like something that came out of a litter box) We showed the waitress who agreed but could only give a discount. The food was absolutely disgusting.

I am a local and I haven't been here in years because I don't hear good things about it but today I decided to give it a try. I'm a chef and I'm willing to try anything despite peoples opinions. I went to Bob Evans a couple of weeks ago and it was a nightmare. Well nothing was different here. On the intake the girl that greeted me was very nice and took my drink order. She then came back and asked if I was ready to order. I told her I was ready to order an appetizer. She took that order she took that order and then she came back a few minutes later to take my lunch order. I never received the appetizer. I received it at the same time as my meal. She asked if there was anything I needed for vinegar. I never received it. I sat here in my table for over 20 minutes with no one coming to check on me. No one refilling drinks nothing at all. I will not return and I will not recommend.

Food was average but was overpriced for what you got. They also charged a fee for using a credit card which is ridiculous.

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).

Unique restaurant located at the gates of the Hocking Hills. The reclaimed materials - such as…read morereclaimed bricks and hand hewn beams - create an interesting atmosphere. Staff at the front desk were friendly, but had a hard time pulling themselves from their phones to seat us. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. The mini cornbread muffins were delicious. The steak and ribs were cooked perfectly, although I would have liked a little more seasoning on the ribeye. The baked beans were on the sweet side, but overall a good flavor. Our baked potatoes weren't done. They brought a second potato and it was still undercooked. We didn't eat it. Overall, we left feeling satisfied and had more than enough to eat. Bring your appetite and lots of cash because they'll have you pay the card processing fee and an additional "supplemental fee" for added fun. I would have taken a picture of the food, but we were too hungry for a photoshoot. Overall we would recommend it, just don't get the baked potato.

You can thank me for going through the suffering. My initial thought was the ribs, but I had to see how bad it all was, so I ordered the Meat Sampler. So, let's sample it. Ribs: They were the best of the meat. Yes, pull off the bone, but lacks in flavor or flavor compared to all that I've ever eaten. Scale of 1-10 (5). Smoked Turkey: Actually, this wasn't bad. It was actually moist, though I could not have eaten more than given to me as it wore on me. (6) Beef Brisket: It is true what you see in the pictures. I thought I was in the Sahara while trying to eat it. Drier than dry. No flavor and hating every bite. Their decent sauce didn't help. (1) Pulled Pork: Wood shavings comes to mind. So dry and tasteless. I'd rather eat the wood shavings. Sauce was no help. (1) Pulled chicken: Couldn't tell if it was the pork or not. It was so dry and tasteless. The pork and chicken taste the same and are the same dry texture, so you no sauce doesn't help. They forget the seasoning? (1) Smoked Sausage: Actually, it wasn't bad, however, as I ate it I recognized the flavor. I swear it is your general grocery store kielbasa. Pick the brand and apply fake smoke and you have it (3) The little cornbread cakes were okay, so I'd give'm (5). The pit baked beans were so darned sweet and you just get sick of it after several bites (3). The mac & cheese was like it came from the frozen section in the grocery store (2). The person who had the Carolina Smoked Pulled Pork was hoping there was something on their plate they could eat and sadly, no. They gave it a (1). All of those in the party did not like their meal with all of us agreeing the ribs were the best part about it. Ignore anyone rating this a 3 or higher. They either have never eaten bbq, were drunk, work there or know someone that does. There is no earthly or godly reason to rate this a three or higher. I want to save you from wasting money and being disappointed. If you never have eaten bbq then please do not eat here and think ill of bbq should you do. The food lacked flavor but seemed familiar. None of it was made on site. Could not have been. I've done bbq in crockpots, ovens, and other odd ways and they were far better than this. I wondered how badly could you screw this up, and then I think I got my answer. The one member asked for a container for us to toss later and he packed his food in the container. Then I saw it.
