Cute little ice cream shop in downtown Frederick. The space inside is pretty small, so several people were waiting outside while orders were being placed, but the line moved steadily. There was only one employee working when we visited, but he handled everything with a great attitude. He was friendly, polite, and never seemed flustered despite staying busy. The ice cream itself was delicious, and the portions were generous. I got the butter pecan, while my daughter enjoyed the chocolate love and mint chocolate chip. Both were flavorful and hit the spot on a warm day. My only disappointment was that they didn't have a traditional cookies and cream flavor. The only option was a coffee Oreo version, which wasn't for me. Other than that, they had a nice variety of classic flavors, several cone options, and basic toppings. Overall, a great little local ice cream shop with friendly service and generous scoops. We'd definitely stop by again. read more

I think this has been one of the best Ice creams I have had in a while. when I think of ultra premium, high quality ice cream, I still think about this place. The shop is ran by a student who at the time was doing school and running the shop at the same time. Very awesome person who was super friendly. I don't live near Frederick so unfortunately I've only been to this place one time. That being said, I still think about this place. The Ice cream is super creamy, you can tell the fat content in this ice cream is super high. It's super rich, super dense and creamy, and sweet but not too sweet. I had the caramel crunch (they didn't have the key lime pie ) and it was delicious. The caramel I thought goes really well with the rich ice cream; it makes for a very decadent treat. The crunchy pieces adds a nice contrast to the super creamy ice cream. Overall it was amazing; it's everything I like in ice cream; something super rice and creamy, and flavors which come from real ingredients instead of extracts or flavorings. read more

Small selection of flavors. The honey graham flavor was the kind I tried. It was good! The graham cracker in it tasted like cookie dough in a way. They were out of chocolate Jimmies. We had a hankering for some ice cream. Checked out Yelp, and some great reviewers pointed to Hoffman Parking was a challenge. There was some construction blocking the parking spaces (signs were posted) right in front of the store front. Across the street, however is a Post Office, which allows 20 minutes for PO customers. Ideally though, you'd park in front of. A small store, with two doors (in and out) as you move down the line. One brother was busily scooping. The menu board doesn't look like it has changed since they opened, but I guess why change with a successful formula. I chose the two scoop coffee Oreo and my husband the two scoop key lime pie. Glad I got the cup because it was a warm day and I knew I couldn't lick it fast enough before it melted, lol Coffee Oreo was great! Ice cream was dense and choc full of Oreos. Key lime pie was crunchy, thick and tart which my husband devoured. He said if we lived close, we would visit a lot. Fortunately when we visited, we had a short wait. But I could easily envision long lines. There was a steady stream of customers, which testified to others having tasted the goods. Price was reasonable. When I asked for the 2 scoop, the young man said for a dollar more, I could get a pint. So bear that in mind in case you want more than the 2 scoop or want to share with a loved one. Have tasted great ice cream like Steve's (the original in Somerville MA, Pat Mitchell's in Binghamton NY, etc) and this ranks among them. Real dairy taste and tasty flavors. My sister insisted that we had to go here for ice cream. I love the back story of how this started. The young man who helped us was very pleasant. The shop is small, no seating. The flavors that we tried are: Key lime pie- tart Roasted strawberry- tangy and sweet Black cherry chunk- good Mint chocolate chip- good Peanut butter something- it was amazing. Tasted the roasted strawberry which was good but on the tart side for me. Ended up getting the honey graham ice cream and it was absolutely delicious! I'm from waaay out of town and it was in the 30s when we walked into the shop after dark tonight, so it seems very hard to believe that I would take the time on this business trip to write a review, but HOLY COW THIS ICE CREAM WAS DELICIOUS! The Key Lime Pie is going to haunt my ice cream dreams! It was one of the best I've cream flavors I've EVER HAD... right up there with the cherry ice cream with Oreos at Moomers in Traverse City, Michigan! The flavor this scoop was tart like key lime pie, but instead of just having the pie crust mixed in, there was this ribbon of something that was crispy and that made the texture an irresistible even unconquerable combination! Best ice cream spot in Downtown Frederick. This place has a variety of flavors that are all delicious. The caramel crunch is my favorite. Each "scoop" is huge and you get a lot of ice cream per scoop. The two brothers running the place are very kind, attentive and polite. Service and ice cream was amazing.
