I ordered a passenger backrest with a luggage rack for my road glide. Naturally assembly required. The backrest pad has 3 holes through the vinyl that the screws go through. The holes don't even come close to lining up with the internal plastic nuts that sounded like they were braking when snagging up the screws. The luggage rack wobbles up and down. I bought a skid plate for my 22 Road Glide Limited. Not a single page of instructions. The installation video for the product on the Hogworkz website shows that it bolts to the frame in the front. The product I was sent does not. I came with 6 clips to attach it to the bottom of the frame. Only 4 can be used given the holes supplied. I'm worried it won't stay attached. When the plate is attached forward enough to protect the water pump and tubing, the kickstand does not go up all the way. It hangs like 30 degrees away from the frame. Not safe. I emailed customer support a week ago with my concerns and have not heard back. Do not purchase from Hogworkz, you will be disappointed. read more

Dropped the ball on customer service and follow up. I ordered a tour pack and went ahead and paid for overnight shipping to meet needs of a trip we were taking shortly. Not only did they split the packages...Mount arrived as planned...tour pack was nowhere to be found and upon contacting them there was zero attempts to acknowledge or correct the issue. I ended up having to take time off of work to go to the service center to pick up the item that I had paid a lot of money to have overnight which never arrived. Their answer to all of this, was to credit half the overnight and then stop responding completely when told this was unacceptable. I purshased saddlebag and tour pack liners for my 2024 Road Glide. I followed their website navigation queues to their product that indicates the year bike i have. I purchased and received. Once received, it was apparent the saddlebag liners did not fit. I called Hogworkz customer service and was shamed for not knowing that the saddlebags on a 2024 Road Glide were updated and was supposed to just know that there were special ones i had to look for on their website. Once the customer shaming was complete, my question was how do we fix this? They said I would need to return the liners, pay for the shipping, and pay for a 20% restocking fee. NOPE...then pay more for the replacements. Hard pass. I just paid to return the ENTIRE order....and will pay the restocking fee....and that buys Hogworkz YEARS worth of running my mouth about them to anyone who asks about them for any product. read more

Horrible customer service! If you purchase anything from this company and want to return it for any reason (even if damaged) YOU will be responsible for shipping the item back plus a 10% restock fee. Crazy that a company would make their customers pay to return an item when it can be used as an expense or tax write off at the end of the year by the company. It cost me almost half of the price to ship and return my item back. Keep your item and sell it online or hope and pray your item isn't damaged when it comes. We had planned on purchasing a touring pack from them but after our first experience with them I'll pay a little more and go elsewhere. read more

I purchased a set of saddlebag lights for a Street Glide from Hogworkz thinking it was the right thing to do. I couldn't be more mistaken on that decision. First, I received my package super fast, I ordered them on a weekend and received them on Monday. Awesome, right? Well, not so much. I did a dry run to make sure they worked properly before installing them and they did, but my bike's lights didn't. Contacted them and after having to make a video, they sent me a replacement set. Great! It was awesome. Checked them and they worked perfectly. I didn't install them right away because I wanted to have time in case of anything... today is Monday and decided to install them. Everything was going good until I removed the film on the double sided tape, stuck the first light to my saddlebag only to realize that the lens is not welded (that's my guess, they don't look as a snap fit design) correctly and am sure I will have moisture/water intrusion issues. I completed the installation, which was indeed super simple, but didn't wantnto contact these guys AGAIN to fix my second problem. I'm sure the "extra" set they sent me will come handy at one point, but for a set of lights that I paid $160 for, it's a waste of money. I should have gone with an amazon set and would have obtained the same result but for $50. I though I was spending my money wisely because of the feedback on Hogworkz's products, but considering my experience, at most they have a quality of 50%. Bought a chopped tour pack from Hogworkz, had to send it back three time to get re-paint because of the subpar pai t job, after the 3rd time and still having issues I was offered a $100 store credit and that's it. I kept the tour pack as I was traveling the day after I received it. They never offered to make it right after I got back. Fast forward I bought a luggage rack from them to go on the subpar paint tour pack and to my dismay it was defective but I never would have known until I drilled the holes, they sent me another one and now the holes don't match up at all. Now they want to do nothing. The only fix is to change the lid and the want to charge me $300 for something that is there falt. Bad business, bad co.pany yo give your money to. I bought a halomaker headlight for my 2015 Slim. The website said it would fit without issue. Turns out this was not true. the headlight was not secure at all, very wobbly within the bucket. Customer service has limited hours on east coast so I used email. Their original response was to say it fit, then they said "just use a little rubber" to secure it (after several days of waiting for a response) When I asked about the the return policy, they said no since it was more than 30 days (It was a christmas gift but I didn't install till spring). then they said they could go to 180 days, but CONVENIENTLY I got the email on day 181. I'm not joking - one of the worst customer service companies I have ever dealt with, misleading advertisement about fit, and an expectation for the customer to spend more time & money to make it fit despite paying $299. Make sure you are absolutely sure of what you are ordering because if you have to return the item, not only do they charge you a restocking fee which is substantial but they make you pay for shipping it back. I received a luggage rack for Christmas from my father. Unfortunately it was the wrong one. And although the customer service department was helpful, all they did was give me the address to send it back. Which cost me $36.14 for shipping which by the way was standard not express. With the shipping and restocking fee it comes out to half the original price of the luggage rack. So, just be sure of what you are buying before you pay for it. To me this is ridiculous. read more

I ordered up some brand new bag liners for a 24 Cvo Rd. glide and I got this note that said oh sorry they're not available for another month or longer and then I get a phone call from Brad and Customer Service maybe who says oh you know what that's a mistake. They are available today with the black and silver stitch. I'll get them right out to you only for two days to go by and I get another email that says oh you know what sorry we made a mistake so I call him up. I explained to him I said luck you told me they were available, I've got to go with my second colored choice he said OK well, my apologies my apologies then I said how about shipping them to me like overnight second day then they come back and they say well you know what they got their hands out they want more money. I've received nothing but great customer service. I purchased a set of led turn signals. One of them didn't work. I emailed them and in less than a week I received the replacement. 6 months later a small bulb in the light was out. I emailed them with a photo of the light and in less than a week I received a whole new set, no questions asked. The lights may have had their issues but Hogworkz were quick to ratify. read more

Ordered several parts for my bike, outer fairing, inner fairing, saddle bags, saddle bag hardware, stretched side covers. Most were received within 5-days. They forgot to shit the saddle bag hard ware and failed to mention that the outer fairing was on "back-order", more on that later. I called about the hardware, they admitted fault and said it would be shipped within a few days. Received it in 5-days, however, the lock was broke. Called to have another set sent out, they shipped priority and received in 2-day. Installed the hardware and the lock fell apart on the first trip. The stretched side covers do not fit correctly. I've adjusted the bags, mounting bracket and tried everything, they will either have a very large gap or hit the bag lids. I've installed SEVERAL sets of stretched covers from other manufactures without issue, Hog Workz quality is terrible. Now, back to the outer fairing. I called, they said it was back ordered and would be 2-weeks before I received it. Again, this wasn't noted at the time or placing the order. I called 2-weeks later and they said that a truck was scheduled for that Friday and it would ship Monday. I called the following week to, again, find out where is was. They obviously forgot, again, and shipped it to me the next day. The saddle bags and fairing have dimples which is probably a flaw during the molding process. The paint quality of the fairings were great. The saddle bags ha paint runs on the back that couldn't be seen until it was in the sun. I wanted to return the side covers, initiated a return online, they tried a troubleshoot over email then stopped communication. Overall, their quality isn't terrible, but they charge a premium price for sub-par quality parts. If I could do it all over again, I would have selected an alternate company. The side covers are now a $200 paper weight and the outer fairing and saddle bags need to be repainted. BAD BUSINESS. read more

This company will tell you whatever they must to get your money. Even to the point it is demeaning to you and flat out untrue. I ordered the 5 3/4" Blackout Halomaker directly from Hogworkz.com. At the time I placed my order (3/15/18) the web portal stated the item was "in stock." Come to find out, that simply was not true. I get an email from the company the next day saying the item is on back order 1 to 2 weeks. OK. Two weeks later I check in on the status of my order and learn that the item is again put back another week, yet online they are still selling the product as "in stock" and ready to ship. Odd, so I asked why and they responded that they "... are in the processes of redoing the site due to items not being shown as back order as they are supposed." At this time, they told me it would be ready in one more week. So I wait another week and still no response from Hogworkz and this time I call on the status of my order. I am informed that my order will be an additional 1 to 2 weeks on back order (it has already been 3 weeks)! In fact, Rick (the not very helpful service rep), told me that a shipping container of theirs got pulled for random inspection which is causing the delay. I asked if they could help me find a light from another source and he replied "if we (Hogworkz) are out of the Halomakers, then everyone else is probably out of stock too." And "...that I should not be upset because other customers have been waiting on back order since February." I asked him if that seemed presumptuous but he did not seem to care. He simply asked if I wanted to cancel my order. All the while, they are still selling them on their website as "in stock" and ready to ship. But Hogworkz knows, and has known, that they can not fulfill their obligations as a seller in a timely manner yet they offer no help or resolve after they charge your card. This simply is demeaning as a customer and non-transparent as a business. After I got off the phone I ended up finding the same light at JP cycles, checked the availability, ordered it and it will be in my hands in 3 to 5 days. This was the same day Rick told me that "everyone else is probably out of them too." As a first and last time customer I must say, way to go Hogworkz. I really appreciate you wasting my time, lying to my face, then offering nothing in return. Your business model should be flushed down the toilet. I ordered denim lower fairing for my 2017 Street Glide. They sent me gloss black. I got a return label from them for a replacement which sat for three days with a shipping label before being turned in to FedEx. I guess a little urgency in correcting their mistake was too much to ask. The fairings fit ok but the instructions were just a semi-blurry exploded view of the fairings showing the parts. Very lazy. The installation video on their site moves fast and doesn't really show close ups. Also lazy. Finally, if you go to the HogWorkz website you see five star reviews everywhere. Why? Because they delete any review that doesn't sing their praise. Mediocre products with junk instructions, poor customer service and a lack of integrity. No thanks. read more
