Catalina did an amazing job repairing a hole in my new hoodie, it practically looks new and you can't even tell something happened to it. I went to a Dom Dolla concert and bought one of his merch items and came home to a big hole where the seam was ripped under the armpit. I'm sure the tailoring services are great, but is it normal to repeatedly reschedule at the last minute? I get being busy but I'm busy too and I didn't waste Catalina's time, especially without at least an apology, and I never was uncommunicative or ghosted her. I'm just confused why respecting each other's time doesn't extend both ways. Totally fine to be too busy to take on another project, but extremely disappointing and unprofessional to agree on a time to meet, then callously reply that you're not available anymore when I'm already on my way and you hadn't communicated the change with me beforehand. read more

Cat does insanely good work. I've taken my jeans to her for about 2 years now! Each time I have, even with the most gaping rips in my jeans, she's always been able to pull through. Fixing jeans is one thing: Fixing worn, faded jeans and making the repair look natural is a whole separate echelon. Since I've known her and her business, she's been able to save around 5 pairs of jeans with wear and tear, holes ranging to pocket tears all the way to rips spanning over 6 inches. I think she even hooked up one of my denim jackets with the sew-on patches I had for riding! Her workshop is quaint, you can tell she has a passion for restoration, and she's been super forgiving when it comes to rescheduling (my bad Cat lol- Won't happen again!). She accommodated my crazy work schedule for drop off and pick up in person. Huge for someone who has lots going on. Cat's business is the epitome of a great small business in LB to support. Cat did an amazing job on my Brave Star Selvage jeans, which is not easy as they are 21.5oz denim! I had holes that I must have got from a bench on a trip as they were perfect before we left. Catalina is amazing! Me, my boyfriend and friend have been going to her for over a year. I trust her with sentimental and valuable pieces and she has always done a stellar job. I had my mom's tiny velvet wedding reception dress and wanted to get it tailored for myself to wear as a guest for a black tie wedding. Catalina was the best person to help me with it--it fits perfectly now and I'm thrilled to get to bring new life to the dress. She did masterful work to do an invisible patching of a completely destroyed pair of AG jeans (both pockets on the butt were MAJORLY ripped) and honestly I don't think anyone else could have repaired it so beautifully.
