They also have a really great selection, everything from fitted dresses to A line and big ballgowns, plus a solid sample sale section too. In the end she found her dress and a veil that matched perfectly and it honestly felt like it was made for her. Going to repost on Best Alterations as she's the same wonderful seamstress for both businesses. I picked up my dress from a bridal salon in Westminster a month ago and was on the brink of spiraling as the dress ordered was massive. I previously requested to buy the size down as the bust/waist measurements of the recommended size were way bigger and my dress wasn't fitted on the hips, but the Westminster Bridal salon persisted... alas the dress was too big and I was too flabbergasted to complain. All to say, I drove straight to Tomato Wedding / Best Alterations to get things fixed and a few weeks later, the dress is now already in an incredible state. The seamstress has so much integrity as she prefaced from the get that the project might be a big one (and $$$) if she needed to fully redo the bodice, but once the first fitting happened, she let me know she was able to avoid doing so and maintained the structure of the dress as closely as possible. She added in an inner corset and also recommended me to wear higher heels to make sure the dress stays proportionate and flattering - purely based on a plethora of experience. I already trusted the seamstress from Best Alterations as she did an amazing job with all my hemming for day to day and now know I can trust her with any alteration, big or small. Highly recommend! P.S. They do rentals as well - alterations are included but buying the dress is recommended if heavier lift alterations are needed.

When I called ahead, I was told they rent dresses and was offered an appointment, so I assumed they would have options for me to try. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door and was not even allowed to sit down. Within seconds, two staff members told me, "We don't have your size here." They had not asked my size beforehand, nor did they measure me, they simply looked at me and repeated that they had nothing for me to try on. When I questioned how they could be sure, they asked if I was a size 10. I told them I wasn't sure of my size. After visiting other bridal shops later, I learned I am a size 12. At that point, they told me their largest size is a 10. I asked why this wasn't communicated when I booked my appointment or listed on their website. I was told it would be "rude" to ask someone's size over the phone. In my opinion, it is far more disrespectful to have someone travel long distance, bring family, and then be turned away immediately at the door without even being welcomed inside. I felt humiliated, especially in front of my family. The interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive, and the customer service was extremely poor. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.

We talked over our floral inspiration for our reception decor, as well as trying on wedding dresses that can be bought or rented. They will alter your dress and dry clean it for you before the big day. I probably visited this shop a minimum of 10 times. I had my first dress fitting here. They had so many different dresses. I tried on at least 6 or 7 on my first fitting. I ended up going with one that I knew was the one. The rental price for it was very reasonable which came with the alteration, dry cleaning, and a veil as well. My bridesmaids and flower girl also did their fittings here as well and love the selection of dresses they had. I even got to rent a second dress for our reception so I could be more comfortable. The second dress was basically an evening gown, but the color and design is very modern and complemented most body types. I did not diet or work out for our wedding and the dress looked incredible on me. Since I am only 5'0 tall, most of the dresses had fit my height (with heels) which I am incredibly thankful for. As for the florals, we did very simple florals. Our wedding is dusty blue, cream, and a hint of gold so the Hollywood Bridal team did an amazing job putting together the bouquets, centerpieces, and the split arch for our reception entrance. The bouquets are absolutely stunning. It included the flowers I love and the exact color palette I wanted. Overall great experience with Hollywood Bridal. We appreciate getting our florals and wedding rentals from here. I received so many lovely compliments on my wedding dress as well as bridesmaids dresses. Not to mention, my flower girl was in love with her dress. We couldn't have asked for such a wonderful and memorable night, all thanks to Hollywood Bridal. We chose a pink and white backdrop with gold accents and the traditional signs. They had even included the tables and all the traditional items used in the ceremony like the insense burner, candle & candle holder, and the tea set. The service throughout the process was also amazing. Communication was smooth and easy, making planning stress-free. They added a bustle and straps to the dress. The straps made my dress looked more elegant. I was also able to pick up my dress the weekend before my wedding which gave me peace of mind. The seamstress Garine was kind and helpful, but another employee Zina was so incredibly rude. She came off very kind in the beginning but she is a very hostile woman who made the entire experience a very sad one for me and it's still on my mind. When I went to pick up my dress, she called me and immediately accused me of being "disrespectful" for not doing all my alterations with them--something that was never stated to me as a clear policy. In person, she continued to speak to me harshly and said I wasted their time and what I did was not acceptable. She said it so many times and so aggressively I started to cry, and only then she felt bad for being so ridiculously harsh. I even offered to apologize to her seamstress who she claims I was wasting her time, to which she then told told me "it's not a big deal" To make it worse, I was quoted $50 but charged $75 with no clear explanation. I did not want to further argue so I paid what was asked. I went in to pick up my wedding dress, an experience every girl wants to remember for the rest of their lives and left feeling upset and honestly in tears. No customer should be treated this way. Would not recommend doing business with someone like her.
