This was not the drunken noodles and spring rolls I envisioned . The noodles they used wasn't very good . It's narrower and has less depth than traditional flat noodles . The noodles overall impression while eating wasn't as enjoyable with is texture and chew when combined with the rest of the meal. A restaurant like Amy Thai Bistro on Flatbush is leagues better than this . To add to the less than solid experience , the noodles was drenched in oil. Very greasy and just made me feel like I was better off with a bucket of kfc . That's the last way I want to feel while eating Thai food. I was not feeling the meal so, quarter way in I started to eat the spring rolls that I was initially saving as a late night snack. The spring rolls were a better eat but didn't have that fresh crunchy feel I've been spoiled with in recent months from other Thai spots . Even the lazy, likely store bought sweet chili sauce they accompany with it didn't elevate it to the next level . My experience from this restaurant is not the best . I just moved into the area and was looking for cute Restaurant in the area. I wanted to treat my mother and girlfriend, because the helped me move in- I found this little gem. They're fairly new, only opened two months now. The ambience was cute, a little loud with the music but they'll get the hang of it. It took a little to actually take the order, but once we ordered some drinks and apps- it was a smooth ride. The waiting staff was super friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. i'm not sure if he was a manager, but he came to the table a few times and comped us our appetizer (shrimp and chicken dumplings). Presentation was good, very well made. Overall, I would rate the dumplings 7/10. It could've perhaps been a little bit more flavorful, but the sauce on the side helped. For the main courses; i ordered the crabmeat pad Thai! this was delicious. Whenever I go to a Thai restaurant, I always rate the restaurant based on their signature pad Thai recipe. This one I will definitely order again. It wasn't spicy(authentic) but very flavorful and packed an umami punch. My girlfriend ordered some chicken dish I can't remember the name of- sorry! But this was excellent! It was ground up chicken with a fried egg on top and white rice on the side. On the menu it stated this would be mild spice level, but this was actually more of a medium spice. Be aware- It wasn't overbearing, just the right amount without ruining your pallet. We kept going back for more. My mother order the spicy basil duck, and this was also excellent. She was very satisfied with her - she can be quite hard to please. We also had some of their cocktail, recommend the margarita and the lychee martini! We were very happy and will definitely be coming for try more:) one of the managers offered a few shots on the house that we gladly took. Honestly I basically almost always have some critique of everywhere I go to eat out... but this place is SO GOOD. Everything is great: the service? Yes! The ambience? Cute! The food: FOWKING AMAZING. I was actually walking to get some tacos when the restaurants menu on the window caught my eye. The red decor on the outside was an inviting touch so I decided to give it a shot. Rum punch is a tad sweet but good. I had the lunch special which comes with an app and entree. For the app I had the shrimp & chicken dumplings which were more than tasty. The main I had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, again more than good. I've been to numerous Thai places around the city and world but I gotta say this place is the difference between good and great. This is a second location for the restaurant and is my favorite Thai food in the area. If you're coming off the A/C line at Nostrand and cross Atlantic, you'll pass it. I really love their curry puffs and the cocktails are fun. It looks unassuming from the street but the interior decor is really nice. It's a small spot and usually a little busy, but not ridiculously so. We get take out pretty often which is delivered quickly. I think the level of spice is perfect- enough to let you know you're eating Thai food but not physically painful. read more

Wow is what I'll start with, on a Friday night around 7:15 our group of 8 walked in, we got immediate attention and were able to be seated right away. The ambiance is cool here, nice design and decor, the music was very loud but it was Friday night after all. The service was excellent, our water glasses were never empty. The whole crew works together, we felt like we could ask anyone working there for anything, it's not like one waiter or waitress per table. They were all very nice and attentive to our needs. All of these things are very important but the quality of the food is the most important and this place knocks it out of the park! Everything I tried was amazing and you could tell that it's home cooked, down to their homemade chili oil. I had the pineapple fried rice with mixed vegetables and my wife had the pad Thai with tofu, both were excellent big servings, the hot wings looks great as well. Delicious Meal! I ordered lunch from this establishment this week and was pleasantly surprised! I loved that the lunch special came with an appetizer because I was torn between ordering Crab Rangoon and Pad Thai! The lunch special allowed me to order my Shrimp Pad Thai entree with the Crab Rangoon app included. The Crab Rangoon was the best I have ever had. It was small, delicate, delicious and presented like a finely prepared amuse bouche! The Pad Thai was very good but my needing to address work in the middle of my meal interfered with the delightful culinary experience I was having. My only critique is that the little lunch tray is packed so tight that removing the tails from the shrimp while keeping all the food in the tray became a bit of a challenging. For this reason, I would have preferred for the shrimp tails to have been removed beforehand. Otherwise, a wonderful experience. I'd love to give this very welcome addition to the neighborhood five stars, because it's wonderful, except for one thing. Very loud music, in a small space, which is intrusive and it's difficult to make conversation and relax. We asked them to turn down the music and they did a fraction, but it was still uncomfortably loud.
