More great experiences at holiday cleaners! since my last review, I have been back countless times for alterations. they did such a great job for me when I needed my too small Miley Cyrus costume altered to fit me, a man. She did such a beautiful job adding the fabric and the fit was perfect! I twerked it!! =) My high school letterman jacket has always been way way too big for me, so I barely ever wore it. I'd taken it to be altered at other places twice and they did the best they could but it wasn't good enough. I forget her name at holiday cleaners, but girlfriend was not afraid to do the MAJOR cutting and altering needed on the jacket body and oversized leather sleeves. Finally, the jacket fits me! I've been going Holiday Cleaners to get my alterations done for over 5 years now. Kim is great when you need to get pants hemmed, dress shirts tapered, and for suit jackets to get taken in on the sides and the sleeves shortened. Off the rack clothes never fit you well enough and it's great to have someone that can slim things down and make it fit you well. Turnaround time is pretty short within a few days of dropping stuff off. Even though I moved to the East Bay, I still go to Holiday Cleaners to get my stuff altered and hemmed. read more

I saw the great reviews on alterations and wanted to give this place a try... I asked if they could slim down the pant legs on my slacks and was told it would be no problem. A few days later I picked up the pants and tried them on. The material is puckered on both legs. In other words, the pants were ruined. I'm sure this place does a great job on simple alterations (like hemming pants), but not anything else. Will not be using them again. read more

My son was sick and he had a very unique size due to steroids. Kim took his measurements and altered all of his clothes. I could buy anything for him, drop it off straight from the store, and she would tailor it to fit him "perfectly". She altered a mens size leather jacket and suit (jacket & pants) to fit my 7 year old, perfectly. He looked sharp and everyone always complimented his clothes. I also needed a dress made and brought a dress to her I wanted her to copy. She took my measurements and made it perfectly. I tried it on and did not even need any adjustments. My husband needed to shorten a pair of jeans, dress pants, and take in a suit jacket. They were able to do same day service. I started using there service after my regular cleaners closed down there business. I've had no problems when them and its always done fast. This review is based on my last experience. I had a wedding and I ordered a dress online. About an hr before I was suppose to leave I noticed both the straps were coming off. I started stressing and didn't know what to do so I called them and asked if they can do an emergency altering and they said yes come on in. I trust the seamstresses here and appreciate their craft. Make sure you let them know exactly what you want e.g. specific cut, style, or thread color. For alterations, I suggest bring a pair of jeans and/or a shirt that fits you well. They can use it for reference. Tried this place out, and Executive Cleaners, since I was new to the area. Disappointed in both. Yes, they are indeed cheap. If you want the best prices and clean clothes, this place is not bad. If you want a dress shirt properly pressed, I would go elsewhere. Where else you should go, I do not know since I am still looking. Does anyone in this city know how to properly press a button-down men's dress shirt without completely mashing the collar? Anyone? I keep searching. Otherwise, this place is fine. I dealt with one cleaner in the same area but not happy with their job and then I saw one which is Holiday Cleaners when I went to McDonald's at first Kim one of the person who work there was so friendly and helpful assured you that they are the best drycleaners in the Area. I brought a lot of pants for Alteration and they did an excellent job it look so good and done it professionally and then I have a Burberry trench coat to hem it and shorten it at first I was scared because it is very expensive to make a mistake but then I tried her because with all those clothes, gown and pants that they altered I dont have any complain. She did pretty good and not only that they really give you pretty good deal they dont charge much my experience with the previous one drycleaner is horrible and is expensive but with the Holiday Cleaners in Clear Lake Ave. are doing great job that is why my Burberry when they fix it I was so happy because I have not use it for a long time I Cannot find a trusted one that really do great job.
