Went to a cheap Indian tire shop for a $75 alignment (US TIRE SHOP) and it was a big mistake. The printout looked perfect, but the car still drove the same, and they didn't even test drive it. Lesson learned. Found Holland Alignment on Yelp, and it was a completely different experience. Carlos found the real issue and aligned it properly, no games. Sandra at the front has some of the best customer service I've seen. If you care about your car, skip the bargain tire shops and go to a real alignment shop like Holland. It's worth it. read more

I went with a new Denso at a very competitive price. I was completely surprised that they were able to get it done the same day since I dropped the vehicle off around noon. I had a minor accident years ago and my car was repaired. However, my steering wheel was no longer aligned as it should be and tilted at a 90° angle. I had to crane my neck around to see my speed. What an inconvenience! I've been told more than once that it couldn't be repaired. I went to Carlos to have my wheels aligned and explain to him about the problem with the steering wheel. That I knew it couldn't be aligned but could he tweak it so I could see the speedometer better? 30 minutes later, he came out to me and told me he could not adjust my steering wheel to where I could see my 80 mph number. he said what he could do was fix the steering wheel to where it was level, as it should be. Not only did he do the wheel alignment quickly, but he fixed the steering wheel. And he only charged me for 30 minutes of labor for the steering wheel repair!! I was referred here from America's Tire Co (on East Hammer Ln) after I got new tires for my car the evening before. This was a first for me, because I usually took my car to the dealer and they put on tires and did the alignment, and I just paid the bill. I was uncertain about going to an unknown shop, but when I called, the receptionist (or co-owner? not sure) was very helpful and said she could fit me in within the hour. I showed up and found the place to be clean, organized and well-run. Everything was explained up-front, matter-of-fact to me, and kindly. I was given estimates up front, and options were explained. When they did find a problem with a tie rod (something I'd been wondering about beforehand but had not mentioned), I was given three different quotes for name brand and b-brand parts. I asked to see what the problem was, and was escorted to the bay where my car was, and the mechanic politely explained in non-mechanic terms what the problem was, and showed me how it was damaged. I felt very confident, did not feel I was being taken advantage of, and that everything was explained clearly to me in terms of warranties, guarantee, etc. All in all, it did not take long, and my car was ready without a speck of dirt or grease left by the mechanic. I definitely recommend this place with confidence; especially for women who are not car-savvy, like myself. :) read more

I had them do an alignment on my STi and they did a great job. They set it to my specs (out of the recomended ones) and explained everything to me when there was a problem. The price was very fair and they even did a small repair to my front axle for free. I didn't even have to ask for a print out of the spec sheet either. This is the place to go if you have an aftermarket suspension (coilovers, camber plates, camber bolts, etc.). Very friendly service. Definately got a returning customer in me. If you're in the area and want top notch customer service then come here. I have a 2012 Acura TSX wagon and I took it to Holland to get an alignment after lowering it. Instead of adjusting it and telling me "we couldn't get it to spec, fix this and come back later and pay a second time" the tech called me, told me what was going on, and showed me on the lift every single thing that needed to be done to it before doing all the labor. His explanation was extremely thorough and they even gave me a quote to get the parts and work done in house (camber kit and adjustable ball joints). After installing everything I dropped it back off and they were able to get everything back into factory spec in a very timely manor. 5/5 for their professionalism and comradery. read more

Definitely not honest I overpayed for brakes and definitely got charged for services not rendered thats on the one hand second I took my other car in they couldnt even let me know what was wrong with it through all the heart ache I find out it was a simple thermostat point is they tried to get more oit of me like they said they wouldnt also they supposedly check my car full diagnostic supposed but a fiew days later im leaking oil the bottom of my car is full off grease build up and they couldnt even tell me oh and my harmonic balancer was all screwed and they let me drive off with it that way id say they dont know what they are doing and they are liars plane and simple no sugar coat I paid less then just thery thermostat price for rotar and cap harmonic balancer and thermostat 130$ lol read more

Car was making a terrible clunking noise, obviously related somehow to steering/suspension/alignment. Midas diagnosed the problem as worn out inner tie rods and said the entire rack and pinion needed to be replaced, but then sent me to the dealer, since Midas said they couldn't get the part. I told the dealer what Midas said the car needed, and the dealer quoted me a price ($690). I felt like I could get a better price, so called around and ended up at Holland, who gave me the lowest quote ($570) in town. After Carlos (the owner of Holland) looked at the vehicle, however, he gave me a call -- reporting that the problem was not related to the rack, and was instead the sway bar bushings. He was right -- he replaced the bushings, and the noise is gone now. And what did he charge me? $55. That's not a typo. $55! I'll definitely take cars back to Holland in the future! read more
