I have had to fix a few things upon accepting delivery and Rachel has been great in the service department as has Joe the manager. The biggest help I have gotten from everyone is from Tony in the parts department. Tony, Chad, and Nikki and the parts folks are awesome. Quite frankly I have read the poor reviews this place has received, and I think they are much better than what has been said about them. One of my windows was broken on delivery and I had a hard time getting follow up to get the new one ordered, though it had been promised by many folks at Holland on several occasions. I shared my frustration with Tony, and he took it upon himself to ensure that I had no further issues with Holland. Tony helped me with a weight distribution, anti-sway Blue Ox Hitch and personally got my window ordered and approved by Joe and the service team. Once Tony learned that I was having some issues that I wanted to resolve and had not been successful, he really stepped up and showed the best this place has to offer. Even though the window still needs to be fixed, this fellow really wanted to make sure that this and all the other issues (as I learn -- a newbie) are addressed. Tony goes the extra mile every time and knows no limit in showing he cares and wants to help - this guy is the best of the lot! That brings me to the final point: Holland is NOT a 1 star place deserving of 1 star reviews. They carry the finest merchandise and literally stock millions in inventory. Not everyone carries Grand Design - it is to me the Del Mar and Rancho Sante Fe of Trailers. They have all the top brands and top parts to go with them. My assessment is they are just plain overworked and busy and probably trying to get qualified additional staff in a rough market. One thing for sure though - they are ALL HEART! They truly do give a damm about the customers and showed that with me. To me, they embody classic San Diego - the big city that thinks it's a small town. If you have been to LA then you know what I mean. It's much friendlier here. These folks are very personal and put their whole heart into everything. And all of us with good hearts are not perfect - that's the point. Finally, I can't forget to mention that Dave gave my wife and I a wonderful walk through with refreshments and a red carpet service. Another Holland guy with a big heart. And Hank even delivered our trailer to us as we were not quite set up for towing (an exciting process to learn). HRV has my loyalty. Give them a chance and they will have yours too.

We searched for an established and reputable RV solar firm, and a friend recommend Infinite RV & Marine in San Marcos. My initial phone call was answered by office manager Daniela, who listened intently to my questions, and quickly put me at ease. Following the call, she worked closely with the firm's founder and technical maestro David - who reached out to discuss technical aspects and options, and soon we had a detailed and easily understood proposal in hand to add a pair of 200 Watt rigid solar panels to our RV roof, as well as all the subsystems necessary to make them fully operational and beneficial to our anticipated needs. The day of our appointment, we met the rest of the team, including David's son Zack, who runs the day-to-day operations of the business, providing hands-on leadership to a small crew of installers, to assure everything is up to his family standards. As Zack later said: "I treat every RV as if it was my own". With several restaurants, a multi-plex theater and brewpub a short distance away, I planned on spending a few hours nearby as the work was performed, and was pleasantly surprised to receive an early call that the work was not only complete, but that my cost would be less than half of the estimate. On further inspection and research during the installation, Zack determined my existing control hardware and other systems would be able to easily handle the new panels, and there was no need to install the hundreds of dollars of additional new equipment they had understandably ordered and prepared for the install. Though Zack could have easily installed that new equipment for an extra profit, and explained it away to a know-nothing like me, he didn't - - and that means one hell of a lot. Zack, David, Daniela and the team at Infinite RV & Marine have our utmost respect and admiration. We could not be happier with the work they performed. When it comes time to expertly install complex solar and other specialized electrical systems in an RV, they will most certainly be the first ones we turn to.

Purchased a brand new Airstream Rangeline from Blue Compass (Airstream of San Diego) in San Marcos…read more After first viewing it we had to sleep on it for a day and to research a bit. We found several issues that other owners were reporting and things to look for. One huge issue was firmware updates that Airstream required dealers perform before selling this model. AS also issued a recall requiring that the generator fuel line be replaced due to possible fuel leaks and risk of fire. When we called to ask about these recalls they admitted that neither recall had been addressed..., they were okay with us driving it off the lot this way on day one knowing full well there were serious safety issues that Airstream had already paid them to correct. We were told it would take about a week. It took about 5 weeks to get these corrected. Never once did anyone update us on the status on their own and most of our follow up calls went ignored. Because of the delay they promised to ship us a carpet set and apologized. We still did not know enough about RVs at the time but quickly learned that we bought a brand new unit with a good number of bugs and missing accessories. The unit did not have the awning tool and the sewer hose was also missing. The carpet set was never shipped and when we called about the missing components and the rug we were told that they did not come with a sewer hose (?) and they were going to get back to us about the carpet. We called Airstream and they confirmed that it was supposed to have the sewer hose and the awning tool... so the service manger flat out lied or was ignorant. She seemed pretty sure of herself though when she told us that we'd have to buy these ourselves. Blue compass also never got back to me about the carpet and never once did anyone follow up after the sale. The after-the-sale service was absolutely awful and basically non-existent. I cannot recommend buying from this outfit unless you do your due diligence and know enough about RVs yourself. Buyer beware.

We booked a RV (#C15 Luxury Sunseeker) through RVFunRental (*RFR) on the RVShare website on 3/31/26--for travel 7/10-7/18. The RV we booked sleeps 10--with bunk beds, modern décor, and new amenities. On Monday, 7/6, 4 days before our scheduled trip--*RFR cancelled our RV booking, and sent a message through the RVShare app. *RFR indicated that our RV was damaged due to gas found in the water system--and offered a subpar alternative replacement--with fewer specs, less sleeping spots (sleeps only 8), and less modern décor & amenities. We declined the alternative vehicle--and immediately called *RFR to speak with Matt, and GM Miguel. Later, we found *many* negative reviews for *RFR --many posted in June, 2026--after our March booking. These reviews included a renter who complained about the same RV that we rented. **See all screenshots attached. We told *RFR that they must correct their own error--and offer an equivalent swap, or RV with more specs at their cost. This is standard expectation and professional customer service--for listing a damaged and dangerous vehicle for rent. The craziest part in all of this--is that the damaged #C15 vehicle is still actively listed on RVShare's website--by shady *RFR!! *RFR is actively accepting bookings for an RV they acknowledged is damaged, unsafe, and has gas in the water reserve. **See screenshot proof. The GM Miguel offered me a few options--and my wife and I chose a new RV (#C19) that had fewer specs and slept fewer people. Miguel assured me that *RFR would do a clean swap and absorb any extra costs--to replace my damaged RV. GM Miguel then asked me to cancel my original 3/31/26 #C15 Luxury Sunseeker reservation through RVShare--and rebook directly through *RFR. I refused this completely shady request. *RFR was trying to make me create a paper trail that appeared as if I initiated this RV cancellation--which would result in incurred-cancellation-fees on my end. When I refused to initiate the cancellation, Miguel/Matt/*RFR stopped answering their phone and never ever called me back since. I sent terse messages in the RVShare app--requesting follow-up and confirmation for my new #C19 RV replacement. After several hours of nonresponsive calls/texts, I began receiving brief, confusing, and uninformative screenshots in the RVShare app of my replacement RV--along with email confirmations that my #C19 vehicle had replaced for my reservation. *RFR instructed me to accept the new reservation--however, the new booking had increased fees. When I asked about the extra fees--that Miguel already agreed to absorb, nobody responded to me in the app, and ignored all calls to explain and provide further clarity. The next day, 7/7, *RFR sent me another message--saying that the #C19 vehicle had been rented, since I didn't accept the new booking (with the unexplained added costs that they promised I wouldn't incur). This is a lie, by the way; the #C19 vehicle is still actively listed on RVShare for my exact travel dates. So basically, *RFR couldn't trick me into cancelling directly with RVShare or accept a new reservation with extra fees (when it was their error)--so they re-offered me the original subpar replacement that I already declined. RVShare has since refunded my money--and my family scrambled to book another RV through a very nice renter. To summarize: 1) *RFR rented a damaged and unsafe #C15 vehicle that they already knew had gas-contaminated water reserves from a previous renter complaint. 2) *RFR bait-and-switch-cancelled my original booking with a subpar replacement that would not accommodate our family size. 3) *RFR tried to get me to initiate a cancellation directly through RVShare and book through them directly instead (to create a false paper trail that I was cancelling my RV booking). 3) *RFR promised to correct their error and replace my RV with an equivalent vehicle with no added cost--when they in fact tried to get me to accept a new booking at additional/unexplained fees/charges. 4) *RFR then cancelled the 2nd vehicle offering to me--and claimed it was no longer available, when the #C19 RV is still populating in available RVShare listings. 5) *RFR stopped answering my calls/texts, and did not address their shady tactics in the RVShare messaging app. 6) The original damaged/unsafe #C15 with the gas-in-water tank problem is still actively listed by *RFR on the RVShare website! 7) *RFR has a ton of recent negative reviews from May-June 2026 (which were posted after our March booking) for similar bait-and-switch shady tactics and nonresponsive, unprofessional lack of customer service. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH *RFR. Once our booking was cancelled--we had to accept paying higher prices with limited RV selection availability--due to the late notice right before our scheduled travel dates. SEE ALL INCLUDED PHOTOS FOR PROOF OF *RFR SHADY PRACTICES.
