The A/C suddenly did not blow cold air anymore. I called John from Picco Air Control, got answering machine, then texted cellphone. Got a text back within 15 minutes and he set an appointment for Wednesday (I called Saturday at 7 PM). I chose him because his work address is nearby and had great reviews. Since it seemed far off without A/C, he recommended his friend at Holloway Air Systems who was able to come next day! This type of recommendation and unselfish action got recognition for John. Anyway, Christian said he would be over on Sunday between 1-4 PM. He called me and he was at my door at 1 PM. He explained everything, took care of the A/C, and set me up for next year for preventive service. Thank you for coming out in short notice and saving the day. Our ac broke in the middle of this heatwave. I went onto our local next door app and asked for recommendations of good AC company's. Before I called Holloway Air Systems I called two other company's listed ( I went in the order of company's referred to me) I was told that I was unable to get service. Well, third times a charm because Christian Right away told me they were busy and all trucks were out but took my number and called one of his guys to see if he could fit me in. I got a call back within a min and said he would have a guy out between 11-3 Yes!!! Tony called me and told me he was 30 min out and would be here around 12:30. He was ahead of time, friendly, most of all honest and sat with me and gave me awesome tips on how to take care of my AC unit... it's the little things that count. I called Holloway first thing on a Saturday morning to check on availability, of course my AC went out overnight on Friday. I figured everyone in town would be booked and Holloway was. Their first open appointment was on Monday, but when I told Christian what I was experiencing he said there might be a chance they could squeeze me in if an appointment canceled or their calls were moving along quickly. Sure enough by 12:30 Christian call and said he was ten minutes away and available. My air went out Friday night I called Christian at Holloway Air Systems Saturday morning and he fit me into his schedule coming out immediately. He was super knowledgeable, repaired my a/c unit very quickly at an extremely good price! He informed me that our unit was old and would need replacement soon but unlike other companies he didn't force a new unit on us or unneeded parts he fixed the problem and to be honest our unit works better then before. Only 3 stars because I believe I was overcharged. I have absolutely no knowledge on furnace repair pricing so I just paid what he told me. Afterwards, I researched the typical cost online and found that I paid much more. He charged me $295 to replace a blower capacitor and to do a tuneup. So, you can decide if that's a fair price. On the plus side, he fit me into his schedule on the same day, which was great. He fixed the problem quickly and was very courteous. read more

Everything about my experience deserves 5 stars. I called around 7:05AM and Ryan was at my door at 8:00AM and done diagnosing AND fixing my air conditioner by 8:30AM (replaced two capacitors). Christian was able to squeeze us in the following day AND he even worked with our schedule!! He found the problem was something simple and fixed it quickly. We found Christian, Holloway A/C and Tony to be two of the most honest business men I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Their work ethic is second to none. We had a 27 year old system that had some big problems. Christian came to our home and did a complete check of what was needed. We had 3 others over, and knew what was needed. He offered a Trane XR system with complete duct replacement for a great price. Tony his installer came in and did the most incredible job I have ever seen. took about 12 hours because of upgrades needed to other a/c repair men mistakes. No complaints no extra charge!! He was professional, knowledgeable, and he listened carefully to my family's a/c needs and financial concerns. His experience and knowledge with multiple a/c & heating manufactures helped me decide which system was right for me. All other contractors pushed one particular manufacturer making comparisons difficult. Christian made the daunting task of replacing my ancient HVAC and ductwork in the attic easy. He gladly sorted out how to get the "hot rooms" cooler, make the interior drain leakproof and the exterior drain dog-proof. He guided me through the city inspection, energy-efficient air conditioning system rebate process, and a simple financing program. He kindly walked me through the "smart" thermostat set up and taught me how to access it from my phone. Brilliant product! Since I don't know very much about how heating and cooling systems work, I asked around for recommendations for someone I could trust to do a maintenance service call.
