    2021 zero s

Excellent place to buy your Zero! Been meaning to write a review sooner. Bought my 2021 Zero S here and everyone was very accommodating. I'm short and couldn't get both my feet down on Any of the models. They were able to lower the bike and shave down the seat for me. I also ordered drop bars. I highly recommend this dealer if you want to buy a Zero!

    Zero fx. Light and fast!!!

My go to shop for all my #ZeroMotorcycles needs! I showed up to their July 2016 monthly group ride (heard about from their Instagram posts) and I was able to test ride the Zero FXS (LOVE AT FIRST RIDE!) I totally had to get one for myself and join the Hollywood Electrics bike fam! Shoutout to Carl for helping me throughout the purchase process (I financed, excellent options available!) He took the time to make sure this bike would fit my riding/lifestyle needs. They even have custom goodies for all your electric moto needs (lowering kits, carbon fiber kits, custom color kits, cafe racer mods, race bikes, supercharging, etc...shoutout to the passionate owner of HE, Harlan, for making it happen!) Btw -- they let you charge while you hangout. What other motorcycle dealer gives you "free fuel?" Way to go for being the #1 electric motorcycle dealer!

Open, open, open already! (They open at 11am)

Do you love the wind in your hair? How about that "just rolled out of a stranger's bed" helmet head look? Are you having a tawdry, green love affair with nature? And, do you love having your wrists manacled while your hair gets pulled and someone behind a French cotillion mask shouts environmentalist slogans at you? If you answered "yes" to the first three questions, Hollywood Electrics is the bike shop for you! (And if you answered yes to the FOURTH question, our next group meeting is Thursday -- bring an Italian dish and blackout curtains) Hollywood Electrics isn't the typical motorcycle shop -- no greasemonkeys or scary bikers with "Satan is My Homeboy" tattoos, motor oil stains, revving, un-muffled engines piercing your eardrums -- or dangerously cool leather rebel jackets. So, it's ALMOST perfect ;-). Obviously, every vehicle at Hollywood Electrics is environmentally friendly. Nary a reciprocating engine in sight! A large selection of cycles is available throughout the store, ranging from bicycle style beach combers to freeway-legal sport bikes capable of 60+ mph. As these vehicles are all electrically charged and battery powered, their range is limited -- the sidewalk/bike lane restricted models get around 25 miles per charge if you let the engine do all the work, or around 40 miles per charge if you let those sexy legs of yours do some of the pumping. The street-legal /dirtbike models have similar mileage performance despite their larger motors, as their engines cannot be supplemented by the rider's peddling. They make up for this, however, with their greater speed and ability to make fast cars wait impatiently behind them on single-lane roads. Prices are somewhat prohibitive, especially compared to the excellent, much more value-oriented "E-Road" electric bike shop a few miles away on SanMo Blvd, however Hollywood Electrics fills its niche nicely with a greater variety of vehicles (E-Road has only one, $700 model, albeit in many colors). Bikes at Hollywood Electrics start at around $3,000, and end at over $10,000 for the largest, high-performance street models. Some flexibility in pricing is negotiable, depending on electric engine selection (all models come with a lower powered "base" engine, with larger, more pricey engines optional). The one variety of motorcycle missing from Hollywood Electrics' repertoire is the cruiser/chopper variety, but bikes of this class likely won't be truant for long. Test-rides and financing are available, as are DMV registration services and other legal formalities -- it's like any traditional vehicle dealership, without the plaid-suited salesman trying to sweet talk you into the driver's seat of a Buick. The employees at Hollywood Electrics are friendly, knowledgeable, and very obviously believe both in their product and their company's progressive, Earth-friendly philosophy. It's quite an experience to come in! Even if you can't quite afford to drop several thousand dollars on a still-evolving, imperfect technology (what technology IS perfect, really?) right now, you can still pick up some accessories on the cheap, and dream of a greener tomorrow -- more green on Earth, and more green in your wallet. Buy a $20 Hollywood Electrics t-shirt, while you're there, and show the world (or, at least Fairfax Ave) what time it is! Be like the guys who wear tees and racing jackets from the Ferrari store -- except your fictional ride is on two wheels and from West Hollywood, not Maranello, Italy. Speaking of Italy, your dish needs to feed at least eight, and remember the safety word. ("OUCH!")

My baby -- all matte black customized Zero S.

I purchased my Zero S here in June 2012. After Hollywood Electrics customized the bike to my specifications, I was off and running. Harlan, Carl, Tom & company are all knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about riding. The monthly all-electric rides are always a lot of fun. Since my bike is electric there are no maintenance issues, and when I needed to replace my back tire and brakes after 3 years of riding, their work was prompt and professional.

Had perfect service and quality products over the yers and now in the market for another bike; this'll be my first stop.

He's taken care of all of the preventative maintenance and all of my off script requests. Not only on my Zero...but also on my Indian... He's got top notch skill and cares about the details. AND he takes the time to talk and explain what and why...never seems rushed. So chill... I would trust him with ANY issue on ANY bike. I would 100% recommend Tyler at Motowerkz to anyone!

I've known Tyler from Hollywood Electrics days and followed him to two other locations to work on…read moremy bike. In the last couple of months, the battery cells on my Zero motorcycle became too unbalanced and Tyler said he had a healthy (used) battery he was looking to sell. The front wheel of my Zero had also been making noises, so I refrained from riding it for several months while I proactively saved pennies on the dollar to afford to replace the battery and fix the front wheel. I do not own any other vehicle except this motorcycle. I finally took it in to Tyler and explicitly told him to look at the front wheel. He said it was "probably just age". I paid $400 up front so he could buy a part to retrofit the used battery to my bike model and an additional $2300 for the battery & labor. While picking up the bike, he made no mention of the front wheel. Exactly two weeks later with minimal rides, the front wheel gave out while on the freeway. Turns out the bearings needed to be replaced and had Tyler looked closely at the front wheel instead of just a standard test ride (which would have been done regardless), the problem would have been resolved before it got worse. In fact, he tried to justify his expertise by stating that I had only requested a bearings replacement on the rear wheel several months before. The front wheel got severely damaged from worn out bearings and front wheels are not available except on the used market. Luckily I did not get hurt. I'm out $2700 and my bike is effectively only good for parts or the scrapyard. While Tyler had allowed my bike to stay at his shop awaiting a potential replacement wheel, he would have charged $200 to transport it back to me, in addition to the $160 I paid AAA to tow it to him, so I'd be out an additional $360, over $3000 total. I trusted Tyler's expertise and now I have no motorcycle. He's been reliable in the past but this negligence & lack of properly diagnosing the issue was not only disappointing but he has shown zero accountability and would not recommend him or Motor Werks.
