STAY AWAY SAVE YOUR EYEBROWS!!!So there is only one older lady working here now, she didnt tell me ahead of time that their prices have increased. So for something i normally pay 25 and i usually leave a 7 dollar tip. I was charged 30.50 wich included a 50 cent fee for atm. I asked her before i even sat down for her NOT TO TOUCH MY EYEBROW just a clean up and she thinned them out and left my eyebrows all uneven and butchered. Will NEVER return here. I did not tip for two reason...and i always tip even when its not good but i really felt cheated. Being upfront with customers goes along way. I only came here because I was nearby. Ny last experience wasnt awful, so why not? I asked for a full face, which is priced on the door at 24.99. The lady kept making remarks that, "its been a while" .... After she was supposedly done, I asked her to fix my eyebrows, since they didnt look even. She made them worse7 one overly think and one thick. She charged me 25 dollars and when I remarked that it is 24.99, and she started to get a penny out and said, " I can give you the penny" to which I refused. I just expected them to be more professional than that. You will not shop at a store and find them rounding up your purchases, so would they?? I cant even begin to tell you how bad my experience was. My friend and I tried this place as a last resort because our usual eyebrow place was unavailable. So as a last resort we came here, and let me tell you I will never recommend this to not even my worst enemy. They completely botched our eyebrows! My friends eyebrows were left irritated and with bald patch, my eyebrows were completely thinned out. I had to come back inside just so they can finish cleaning up the middle of my eyebrows because they left a bunch of hair. I only tipped the lady who did my eyebrows 2$ due to the fact that she left my eyebrows thin, wasn't going to tip at all but I'm not rude! Right away when I tipped her 2$ you can see it in the registers face and the lady that they weren't happy. Well guess what? No frills. Does what they do, and does it well. Threading that is.... Had my damn furry chin threaded, as well as my upper lip and eyebrows. I think I am slowly turning into the spitting image of my father in appearance as well as hair!, and it is creepy. He always said certain food would grow hair on my chest, but it actually made hair grow on my face!! Damn you KIMCHI! ahah Service leaves something to be desired. Not mean, but not extra friendly either. Don't count on Service with a Smile, or at least when I came that is how it was. 20 bucks for lip, chin, and eyebrows. Don't get eyelash extensions here they look cheap and hurt the eyes. I had a bad experience with this place. never again lashes my natural eyelashes fell pretty bad I looked bald. I had to go to another place to get my eyelashes removed cause when I called here no one knew where the eyelash lady was and when was she coming back. It was awful at the other place they took them off they said that Lata the eyelash lady at hollywood threading has applied to much glue and apparently was cheap glue almost lost ally lashes. Anyways I looked pretty bad it looked super fake look at the pictures that I post. It's better to pay more and get professional quality work not this cheap crap. I'm considering to take further actions on hollywood threading for ruining my eyelashes. Will never return to this place ever again. read more

I've been here twice, but I only remember the most recent visit. I took my bushy eyebrows here instead of traveling to Ziba at the Stonewood mall. I was helped almost immediately and the woman was very nice. She was a little rough though, the thread had snapped at least 3 times right above my face. All this meant nothing to me because i just wanted these monsters to be tamed. They were perfect! She even made my eyebrows look almost identical and that means a lot cause I have a wonky eyebrow. I will be returning! The price is awesome as well, only 7 dollars. Sure, they don't put that special liquid on your brows to keep them from getting red but you can't beat that price in this economy. read more

I've been going to this place for years so I don't know what happened this time. While doing my eyebrows the lady kept asking if I was ok which I thought was weird. When she was done, I noticed my eyebrows were a little more red than usual but paid and left. Later that day I noticed a bunch of little cuts and my eyebrow looks horrible. I'm so glad this opened up close to my house, because I was getting tired of driving to Cerritos. Their prices are pretty cheap---with tax and tip it's about $10 to get your eyebrows threaded. There's usually not more than a 10 minute wait and oftentimes they'll take care of you as soon as you walk in. There's a $1 surcharge for using a credit card, parking is easy, and the women that do threading are good. read more

The lady was ok, not great, just ok like she was practicing or something. The smell of this place is weird too. I don't think I'll come back. I only liked that she was fast on my lip. I've been doing My eyebrows here for the past 8 years. The staff is polite and friendly, however this last time that I went it was like 110 degrees outside, I never noticed they don't have a working AC. They have like 2 fans that they're sharing within themselves. I would give this place 5 stars but getting your face threaded in a closed environment where its nearly 90 degrees with just fans does not work for me! After checking out their reviews on yelp, I thought I should give them a try. I'm so glad I did!!!! My eyebrows were pretty bad, and I needed some MAJOR help. They cleaned them up really good, although the shape isn't the best for my shape face (but I didn't ask in the first place). Next time I plan to take a picture of what I would like. Nonetheless, they were amazing! I went in, signed up, and was out in about 7-10 minutes. They charged $10 for brows and upper lip... which is really affordable. Highly recommend it. I've been to Vinita's in Cerritos, and some high end West Hollywood threading place. The experience at Hollywood Eyebrows was quaint. The wait was only about 10 minutes. The price was just right, and the customer service was excellent. They ask you if you've ever had a facial, and try to explain the whole shabang. I guess I'm suckered, so I'm booking a facial with them this weekend. $45 for a European facial, 1 hour with massage. Hmm. My lady (I forgot her name, Sorry!) did my eyebrows and cleaned them up, she advised me to let them grow and she will fix my shape. Which she rescued already from a previous horrible wax. Ugh! I recommend this place if you're looking for a quick and easy eyebrow thread. The facility is charming, it relaxes you, and the indian music playing in the background makes you feel Ballywood, lol. read more

2.5 Usually come here when I can't make it to Vinita's in Cerritos. The place is simple, never a wait, no patrons really. I think I've only been here once when there was someone actually being threaded at the same time. This could be good and bad I guess. Very cheap prices but don't be fooled by the man parading with the $5.99 sign outside, cause when you walk in, they'll tell you it's wrong! You also get a 50/50 shot at your eyebrows being symmetrical. I'm not into gambling much but I don't like those odds when it comes to my face. I do like that they never leave nicks from the threading and well, they're easy to get in at the last minute, and they're open till 8PM on a Saturday. Like I said, I only come here when I can't get to Vinita's (which has been the last couple times that I can't get on the 710 from Firestone). If your planning on going to get your eyebrows during this pandemic avoid going to this place they do not sanitize the seat where all the customers seat down and the lady does not wear new gloves with each customer. She uses the same pair of gloves with all customers. I mean they raised the price to $10 for eyebrow service it should be enough-to pay for a new pair of gloves for each customer and sanitize the seat after each use. I went earlier today and there was a customer before me and ones he left the lady called me to go next, I waited for couple seconds to see if she would pick up the sanitize spray next to her, and of course she didn't so I ask her, "Are you going to sanitize the seat?" she didn't say anything but rolled her eyes and pick up the spray and wiped it down all mad. I also notice she didn't use new gloves after each customer she only grabbed hand sanitizer and clean the gloves with it. I mean I think at least each customer should deserve a new pair of gloves. I mean you are paying for a $10 service when they use to be $6 when they open and then went to $8 and now $10 during pandemic.... read more

If I could I would give it no stars. You walk in, no one is there but the girls working. They already judge you on the way you look and start talking their native language. She started to work on my eyebrows with out me even saying anything. I stopped her and told her what I wanted, she took no consideration of what I said and went on talking to her coworker. A couple of times I thought she was talking to me. So I responded, " I'm sorry I didn't hear you?" She said in a rude manner, " I wasn't talking to you!" After she was finished, I asked if she can fix something because it wasn't straight, how I wanted it. She took off a lot! She gave me the mirror to look again. I hated them. I love this place! They do an excellent job! The eyebrow threading is not expensive at all. Eyelash extensions are a lil bit on the high end. I don't usually have to wait more than 10 mins. to get seen because I go on weeknights. I would definitely recommend this place to any friend. read more
