Guess what???? 2 weeks later we went back in to store and saw this little black and white French bulldog and it didn't take long and we walked out of there with another puppy. We knew they only deal with the top breeders in the US and we would get another amazing puppy. If you go in one day and don't see or find what you are looking for, don't give up. They are always getting new puppy on weekly and sometimes daily. Subscribe to their Facebook page and you will get updates on new puppy's they have with very cute pictures. We will be forever customers of Petland.

Conditions that were initially presented were later modified or replaced. Proposed resolutions shifted throughout the process rather than remaining consistent. The reasoning provided for management decisions varied depending on when the issue was discussed. Different answers were given by different individuals involved in the conversation. Additional requirements appeared to be introduced after earlier concerns had already been addressed. Manager herself vindictive and retaliatory. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating experience. The primary issue was not the animal itself, but the lack of consistency and transparency throughout our interactions with management. During our discussions, management's position appeared to change multiple times. We received different answers depending on when questions were asked and who was participating in the conversation. Various solutions, conditions, and explanations were presented, only to be revised later. As a result, it was difficult to understand what the actual policies were or what would be required to resolve the matter. Rather than receiving a clear and consistent explanation of store policies, we encountered changing requirements and conflicting information. What should have been a straightforward customer service matter became far more complicated than necessary. We were also concerned about the apparent lack of verification during the sales process. Based on our experience, there did not seem to be significant efforts made to verify age before completing the transaction, raising questions about how such sales are handled. For that reason, customers may want to request written copies of all applicable policies before making a purchase, including return policies, refund policies, surrender policies, warranty terms, and any conditions that could affect the transaction after the sale. Relying solely on verbal explanations may lead to misunderstandings. Ultimately, our experience left us with little confidence in the consistency of management decisions or in the overall fairness and transparency of the customer service process and an unresolved issue about an animal.

    First off, SUPER price gouging at this location! In hillsborough county it's only $60! Here it's…read more$100!!! You make an appointment to see your dog waiting in a cage anyway.. then what's the point of an appointment when WE have to wait. 2 1/2 hours!! Told them NOT to clean my dog's face because of medication along with their ears, and they did anyway. Same with my second dog. They are both highly allergic to whatever they do or did there, and I see another vet bill coming up because they didn't follow directions. I'm so upset and pissed!!! Got there at 11am on time, they didn't get to my dog for over an hour! Then made me late to pick them up also. Blaming it on the dog for being uncooperative. The reason why he was, was because he wasn't comfortable with the way he was being. Management needs to Fire Chris and the nasty girls being mean to the other dogs that I saw through the glass! Do not go to the 41 location by Target. TERRIBLE! I NOW go to the Forum location. Although far from where I live it's better!!!

She was there for almost 4 hours.. her grooming has never taken longer than 2 hours. When I came to pick her up, they would not let me see her until after I paid & tipped, which I thought was very weird as I've been to petco grooming several times and they always let me see her first. My dog has red spots all over her from the clippers, and she has been nonstop licking her private areas as they were shaved raw. :( she also was still half wet when I picked her up, and they had her sitting wet in a crate. I'm not sure what took 4 hours since she was still partly wet. The rest of the groom looks absolutely awful too... it looks like the groomer quickly went over her tangled spots without even attempting to make it evened out or anything. I'm super shocked that the groomer thought it was acceptable. The only parts that were touched with clippers are so irritated and raw. It doesn't just look bad but she has been scratching and licking since yesterday. Also this groom is priced at $85.. leaving 2 stars instead of 1, because they are refunding me after I called 3 times.

    Horrible experience today with the grooming department. I took my 9 pound cavapoo for a grooming…read moresession. When I dropped her off, I showed the groomer a picture of how I wanted her, which was completely shaved down including the snout. When I arrived to pick my dog up, I saw through the glass window that the groomer kept a teddy bear snout. Julie, who I presumed was the grooming manager, was the one at the counter, and I asked her if they could shave my dog's snout all the way down. Julie's response was rude, saying that she wasn't sure if she could because my dog kept "flailing and biting" and it wouldn't be safe for the dog. She proceeded to go back and shave my dog's face. I watched the whole time, and my dog did not act aggressive in any way, just trying to avoid the clippers. But this is common behavior I'm sure from dogs when clippers to the face are involved. Plus, she had a loop around her mouth to prevent biting. Also she is 9 pounds! Julie came back to the front to the desk and I thanked her for doing this. She did not respond to that, and told me she is referring my dog out to another groomer. I said okay, maybe I'll look for a poodle concentrated groomer, they are probably better with this breed. And she responded "it's not the breed it's your dog. I've been doing this for ten years." At this point I am offended. They bring my dog out and I noticed one of her ears was scraggly and sloppily cut. I asked for them to just clean it up, and Julie said "I'm not cutting anymore". And walked away to the back. I said this isn't right, this is a $100! I just wanted the ear to be cleaned up. They even put the wrong leash on my dog when returning. This place is extremely unprofessional, rude, and amateur. I will never be coming back to petco again. AVOID.
