Regretful decision to come here. I wanted to try this place since the reviews were good. Came in at 10am as a walk-in and was seated immediately. My pedicure was good, my technician attentive as I had the service with hot paraffin wax and the hot stone massage. However, when the manicure technician began working on me, she cut my cuticle too deep and since I chose gold as my color, it does not hide. You can see it in the photos. To make it worse, she blotted it several times, but did not apologize until I paid. Also- no discount was offered for my bloody finger. Also- when it came to the hand massage to finish the manicure, she literally put one drop of oil and rubbed my forearms. My arms were freaking red and it was painful since one drop of oil is highly insufficient for a comfortable massage. The only tip I gave was for the pedicure. $40 for the pedicure and $40 for the manicure with a $5 tip for the pedicure only. Sorry, I really don't like writing negative reviews, but this was unacceptable. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews specially during COVID. But this must be done. I walk in and they're empty. Should have been my 1st sign. I sit down for a pedi and the lady bring me the menu and shows me the deluxe pedicures. I say no I want a basic pedi. She cuts my nails and I look down and one is wayyyyyyy shorter than the other!!!! Barely files them, massage, polish, didn't even bother putting any effort into it. Before she painted them she was trying to get me to do gel. Again upsell. Maybe it's just me but if I'm a business thats empty if I finally got a costumer I would be delighted and would do my best to make sure they come back to see me!!!!!!! I wouldn't try to upsell them, instead I would do My best to make sure they come back! Instead of trying to get $50 one time make sure they like your work so they come back again and again. I genuinely like the work these ladies fo, so my 1 star rating isn't about their skill. I made at appointment for a pedicure for 1pm. She told me she had an opening at 2:30pm. Ok! Perfect! 2:30pm! I arrive at 2:35pm. I know I'm 5 mins late and I was prepared to wait. I walked in and everyone was busy helping someone. I let them know I had an appointment at 2:30 and she told me to "have a seat." At 3:10, I'm STILL WAITING! No one told me I'd be waiting for almost the whole amount of time it would have taken to do the damn pedicure. Meanwhile, 2 other women walk-in for their 3pm appointments and they get seated and helped immediately. Service counts, especially in times like these! I will start out by saying that I have tried so many nail salons in elk grove/Sacramento area and will usually give a place a few chances before I switch (unless they do a great job then im loyal). I am so glad I finally found a place I really like. I usually do solid colors with dip powder but today I decided to try a design and I am very happy with how they came out, they look exactly like the reference photo I showed. As most of us do, I read through the reviews before heading into this place. There were a mix of good and bad experiences so I was hesitant to take the risk. I guess what pushed me to go was the close proximity to my house. I've been going to nail places closer to the 99 side. I've been really happy with my experiences so I made the drive. I. AM. SO. HAPPY. I. TOOK. THE. RISK!! I called ahead because many reviews said the place gets really busy. Also, today is MLK day. So I wanted to make sure they were open. The lady on the phone said they were available now and I could come in. I walked in and was greeted. She asked if I called for dip and pedicure. I said yes. There was one other girl getting her nails done and no one else. I was directed to the pedicure chair and began to look at the dip colors. They don't have the biggest selection, but I am pretty basic when it comes to nail colors. So that doesn't really matter to me. Van did my dip powder ($35) + I had her cut my cuticles ($5) while another lady (didn't get her name ) did my pedicure. I felt like a queen! I did the basic pedicure ($20) and I was amazed that the exfoliating service came with it. Other places will categorize that as a "deluxe" feature. I appreciated the mini massage during the exfoliating and lotion/oil part. Van did an amazing job with my dip powder! Thin and sleek just how I like. She was fast but precise! Van asked a couple times if I liked it while I inspected them, which I like. It makes me feel like she really cares about her work. As happy as I am with my experience, I have to note that they were not busy and no one was waiting on service. I am interested to see if I would receive the same type of service on a busy day. The pros: I got in real quick for a last minute Sunday appointment, the nail technician made my feet feel and look great again, she had a friendly demeanor, it's a pretty nice and inviting location, and it's pretty close to my home. Actually I like everything about it...except... The con: they don't use the sanitary plastic covers for the pedicure spas. The next day I had a little fungus growth on my foot (this has happened before somewhere else years ago from no plastic cover). I guess since I was in a hurry and the place looked well taken care of, clean and up to date, I took my chances. Although they did a great job, I won't be taking that chance again. I really wanted to make this my new place but I'll definitely have to pass. read more

I get a pedicure and she doesn't even massage my legs or put lotion on my feet. My hands are so dry. The whole staff was staring at me the whole time which made feel really uncomfortable. I've been going here for years and I always love the results. The store is clean and sanitize. Sometimes the employees will even stay after operation hours for their customers. Only the second time I have ever got a pedicure. But after I bike ride I thought I need my nails cut and someone to rub my calves and feet. My wife suggested I get a pedicure because making my children do it was inappropriate. So I came down here. Got right in. They did what I paid for and were very nice. I don't normally write reviews but I am so happy with the service and end result of my nails! I had a full set that I was just tired of. I walked in to have the full set removed and dip powder added. The gentleman that did my nails took excellent care when removing the full set (it did not hurt and my nails did not break). We very busy. You come back 3:00 and we help you". It wasn't what she said it was how she said it. I ask for the guy that worked there to schedule an appointment with him and said "he gone already, you come back 3:00". RUDE RUDE RUDE This is my 4th visit and I'm done. I really don't like leaving bad reviews... Figured I would try this place out since it's so close to home. I called a day ahead for a gel mani and reg pedi, they were able to get me in at the time I requested, 2 thumbs up for that! While she was doing my mani, she was a little rough and made me bleed a few times, no biggie. Wasn't a fan of the shape she had done on my nails so I had asked her to fix it, no problem at all. What got to me was, after she used the nail clipper and the cuticle clipper on me she just put them back in the drawer... I am more than positive that those need to be sterilized after each use, all I could think about was how many other clients has she used this on prior to me and the fact that you just made me bleed with that thing! When it was time for my pedi, I noticed they don't use the plastic barriers like most other places, bummer. Again she was a little rough with the nail cutting and also made me bleed on my toes too. Asked for French tips but she didn't do a great job at it. I just felt like everything was rushed, services came out to be $60 which I don't think what I got was worth that much. This nail salon has horrible service. They made my friend wait for 40 minutes before they even tried to sit her down to start her nails. They had a girl show up after we arrived who was late for her appointment and they still took her before my friend. They never explained when we arrived she had an appt just told us to sit down and she would be helped soon. Jenny is very unprofessional and doesnt know how to treat a paying customer. I have coming to this place on and off for 5 years. I will never return again and I will make sure I tell all my friends not to come back here. There was no apology or anything. Came on a Monday afternoon and it was empty. I was just guna do a standard mani&pedi but the woman kept trying to talk me into doing more, so I opted for a new full set. Chose my colors and sat down at one of the massage chairs for my pedi. They ended up doing both services at once which didn't really bother me too much, but I kept having to adjust myself to the side so she can work on my hands. So I couldn't really fully relax while getting a pedi. The lady doing my toes did an ok job. She didn't really scrub off all the dry skin around the heels of my feet, but she painted my toes really well. The massage was just mediocre, felt like she was just rubbing her hands up n down my calves. The hot stones and the paraffin wax are always my favorites but she didn't really spread the wax evenly around my foot, so most of the wax settled at the corner of the bag. As far as my manicure went. I had old gel polish still left on my fingers from a previous mani, and I specifically asked to soak them off bc my nails were so thin from removing the last set I had on. But she still used the tools to grind them off. I asked for a coffin shape, and she was very adamant about me picking a gel color, so again I gave in and chose one. Then she tells me after she started doing my nails how much more it would cost. At that point there's wasn't really any thing I could do but to just continue my services. I was slightly annoyed and what made it worse was that she kept filing so hard that she broke skin. There were several times I would pull my hand back to kind of let her know it was hurting. So I bled on one finger and another is just on the brink of breaking skin. While shaping my nails she was kind enough to ask if she was shaping them the way I liked. That was probably the only plus. Although they did the job they were supposed to do. I felt over charged and was never given an apology for making my fingers bleed. I was still generous enough to tip them even though I really didn't want to. I highly doubt I'll be returning to this spot. read more

I was recommended to this place by a friend. First impression very welcoming and clean. I called in and requested an appointment for 4pm, the lady said yes and to come in. I got gel manicure and regular pedicure. They asked me to choose a color , I tried finding a color that would both match my hand and feet. They lady was nice enough told me to choose my hand color first and she will find the matching feel color. We started at the mani table and cleaning cuticle cutting, she was very gentle and did a good job. Then she requested that I move to the pedicure chair and she will do my nails while the other lady will do my pedicure. She placed a pillow on my lap and then placed the UV light on it. This is the part where i took 1 star away, this is just uncomfortable because the mani lady wants you stay still in certain position while she tries to apply gel polish on your hands and the pedicure lady it trying to position your leg and feet. Overall they did a good job and they were nice kept making small chit chat. But I would only recommend that not to both mani and pedi at the same time because its not enjoyable. read more
