The service and the prices were great! Didn't have to wait long and tech was super nice! I definitely recommend this place!

Allure is very close to my house, so I was hoping it would be my go-to spot. This visit was a much needed self-care Mother's Day gift to myself (a fill and pedicure), and I was looking forward to a relaxing pampered experience. The manager's greeting was friendly and welcoming. As I sat down, she explained they'd do both services at once. I was ok with that. I wanted dark blue or gray cat-eye with blue tinted chrome on top. She said they could do that. They brought 2 trays of regular polish and 4 trays of cat-eye choices. The manager told me to take my time. I was happy to be there. After about 10 seconds the 2 nail ladies came and asked me what color I wanted. I took another 5 seconds to decide my toe color for the pedicurist. I hadn't had time to look at the cat-eye choices, when the nail tech, Tammy, asked what I want. I told her I need a second to look at the choices. She said to "go ahead and look but I'm going to start your nails", and she took my hand to start removing my old gel polish with the Dremel. It was very difficult to look through all trays piled in my lap with one hand, and I thought it was rude not to allow me at least 60 seconds to properly browse. They didn't have what I wanted, so I needed a minute to decide on what to settle for. I picked something satisfactory, but was feeling turned off by being rushed. She was rushing with the Dremel too and cut the edge and side of my finger- which hurt, even though it was minor. She apologized, sprayed something on it that stung slightly (alcohol? water?) and walked off. As I waited, my cut bled and was going to drip, so I asked the pedicurist if she had something to take care of it. She said the nail lady would do it. Tammy came with a tissue, began to put liquid from a green bottle on my bleeding finger without explaining what it is or asking if I was ok with it. I had to ask, and they said it was a sanitizer. At this point my happy, pampered expectations were blown. I was in pain and will have to deal with hangnails and the ugliness of the cut. I felt disrespected, rushed. That preoccupation clouded my focus on the pedicure. I couldn't enjoy that because I was internally upset and just looking forward leaving. Tammy could see I wasn't happy and made small talk. I really didn't feel like conversating in my frustrated state, but I obliged. I asked to view the chrome colors and the pedicurist said Tammy chose one that matches my polish. I would've preferred to see options, but I was ok with what she selected. I was happy with the turnout of nails and toes. When finished, Tammy asked me if I wanted paraffin wax. I thought it was a gift offer to make up for cutting me and to improve my satisfaction- which would have been appropriate, however she said it would be $5 extra. I passed. I asked if I could wash the chrome glitter from my hands, but instead she got a warm washcloth to wipe most of it off and then applied oil and turned the massage chair back on for me. She said I can sit an relax-which I appreciated because I was feeling tense by all the mistreatment and my toes still needed to dry. By this time, the place had several empty chairs- so I didn't need to rush... But LITERALLY, they came back after LESS than 2 minutes and asked if I was ready to leave yet! I asked if my toes were dry enough yet, and the pedicurist said, since she put 4 coats of polish, I should be careful for the next 30 minutes. I was so offended to be rushed out, but it was definitely time to get out of there! I explained my dissatisfaction to the manager. She took $5 off for polish removal. I should have insisted on more time to view polish choices, and should have requested for Tammy to slow down and take more care with the Dremel- because I deserve that. The problem isn't being cut- mistakes happen and it was minor. The problem is the reason it happened- it could have been prevented if they cared. Not caring is what changed my whole experience- even before she started on my nails. Customer service is important. I won't be back. read more

2/4/2025 - WOW. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you want them to talk smack about you and call you names in Vietnamese, then this is the place for you. But not me, I was in and out in less than 2minutes. I called this business to ask if they had time for a fill, and also mentioned that I would like my nails to be filed on the thin side. They said "okay, honey - can you come right now?" Got there in about 5 minutes. The gal that picked up the phone (assuming she was the owner since she sat at the counter), greeted me and said "okay, honey have a seat over there" as I was still drying my shoes from the rain. As I started walking and took two steps, she turned to the nail tech that was supposed to do my service and said in Vietnamese, "This is the girl, this is the extra crazy delusional girl that wants her nails done. She's really insane. She wants it thin so be careful otherwise she's going to act up and get crazy on you". The audacity of this lady!!! Calling me crazy when I've never even had a service done from their establishment prior to my interaction today and speaking in another language because she assumed I was not Vietnamese and couldn't understand it. She didn't even apologize to me, probably because I responded back to her in Vietnamese and said, "Nope, you do not get to talk about me like that as a willing and paying customer." She just ignored me at that point. I will never return here and will not recommend this place. read more

I came in for a full set a few weeks ago and a gentleman did my nails. I showed him a photo of what I wanted - red glazed with chrome. He proceeded to file my nails and cut my cuticles pretty badly twice - one finger was bleeding pretty badly and when I was looking directly at it...he patted my finger and placed his finger up to his lips to say "shhhh". Like no, it hurts. At the end, my manicure was poorly done. The chrome was gold which made my nails look more orange. The main issue was all the bumps on my nails! It wasn't smooth AT ALL. Not a single nail was smooth. I didn't have time to complain and have them fix. So I called and spoke to the owner who said I could come in the next day and get them fixed. Kay apologized and fixed them for me. She did everything I asked. We changed the color and chrome, she tried to file the thickness down...I know she was really trying her best, which I appreciate. Not many businesses will offer to rectify the situation without being defensive, so I appreciated Kay's offer. It was nice to not hear her speak to anyone while she was working on my nails too - so I atleast know she wasn't talking about me in front of me. Lol I walked out with better looking pink chrome nails but again, with a chunk of my cuticle cut off and bleeding...my nails were still pretty thick too. I'm sure if she had done them herself to begin with, they would've been beautiful but because she was fixing someone else's work she had to work with what she had...which was a mess. I really appreciate Kay for taking an hour and half of her time to fix my manicure. She also apologized for wasting my time the day before. I think that's great business management and I would return again, but probably not for a manicure. Lol read more

Today was my first time coming here and I enjoyed it. Linda gave me a gel pedicure and did an awesome job. She was also very friendly and talked to me a lot. The decor inside this salon was nice and relaxing. The massage chair felt good and I especially liked the hot stone massage that came with the basic pedicure package. I've done dip nails for month, I understand he's supposed to be the professional but he didn't know what he was doing. My nails came out thick as ever. I went to Allure two weeks ago for a pedicure. They have several price points and I choice the most expensive... $55 for an hour long pedicure with an orange scrub. The whole treatment fell short on many levels, the main one being it lasted only 45 minutes, falling short by a full 15 minutes. The orange scrub consisted of a half an orange cut up and briefly rubbed on my calves and shins for no more than two minutes. I asked to speak to Kay the owner who promised to call me. The next day, I returned to try and speak to the manager... and once again, she was too busy to talk to me and said she would call. I have waited two weeks to give the owner an opportunity to call and talk to me before leaving this review. I cannot recommend this place!!! read more

My cousins and I went here for a girls day, we all got pedis! It was my first time here, not sure who I had but I wish I had gotten her name. She was great. I got the Deluxe Pedicure. I haven't gotten a pedicure in so long, prices went up! But I understand, due to Covid and all- support small businesses! And plus, I wanted to treat myself. The lady I had gave me such a good massage, definitely worth the money. Gel is an additional $10, but so far, it's been almost a week and not one toenail has chipped. So that's great! Won't be going here again. Every single person here was very rude especially the lady doing my nails. I came here on Tuesday with my boyfriend, and they kept pushing us to get the most expensive pedicures after we said no multiple times. As the lady was doing my nails while i was getting my pedicure she asked me what color I wanted and when I showed her she said my skin was too pale for it and I needed to pick a new one. You don't say that to a customer who's paying you for the service. The entire time also you could tell they were speaking about me and my boyfriend, they made it very obvious. I asked for French tips with the sharp curve the women who did my toes said she didn't know how to do it so I had to get all white toes and the second women who did my acrylic nails was really rude after I showed her what I wanted and said she needed to charge me $10 extra for the extra curve on the French tip and I have never had to pay for that unless it's a crazy design.... I went to a new guy today named Andy and showed him a pic of what I wanted and i HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE IMPRESSED!!!!! I usually get my nails done by one of the women there but i've had negative experiences with them before and told myself i'd never go back. Well I gave it one more chance and it blew me away! Andy (male) did my nails and took his time staring at my picture over and over again so he got it down to the T. Usually when I get my nails done here and show a photo they never look the same. But the photos speak for themselves!!! (I asked for 1 holographic nail diff from the pic). I will recommend him to anyone and continue to give him my business! AND THEY CHARGED ME ONLY $40!
