The first lady removed the color off my nails and shorten them. Once she finished shortening them she left and went to another client. I waited longer for another girl to put foils on my nails to soak. I waited the typical time for a soak off then when it came to drilling off the gel x nail, it appeared as if the lady did not have control over her tools since it kept slipping off my nail and hitting the side of my finger and even the bottom of my finger. I was charged $15 for the removal plus an extra $1 because I used card. I used to come here when I was little all the time and now I feel like the quality has just gone downhill. read more

My sister and I visited this location on 3/20 and I had called and made an appointment @ 5:30 for 2 pedicures (they stated that they were not busy and they can take us at that time) and I showed up at 5:25 we got seated into our pedicure chairs, and a lady started a pedicure on me and about 15 minutes had passed and nobody had came to my sister yet we brought it up to their attention and they said give them five more minutes, we then waited another 15 minutes and she had still not been started on yet, eventually my pedicure was over and then eventually somebody came and started hers at 6:10, they rushed through her and she was done by 6:30 her pedicure was very messy and there was polish on her skin, very unhappy with our experience here. read more

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience on July 1st that led to onychocryptosis (an ingrown toenail). During a pedicure, the nail tech trimmed down the side of my big toenail too short and when she pulled it out I was in immediate pain. By the next day, the skin around my nail was red and swollen. I soaked my foot in Epsom salt to try to reduce the swelling, and while it subsided after about a week, the toe remained tender. A few weeks later, the swelling returned and the area became infected. On August 1st, the pain was unbearable, so I went to urgent care. They numbed my toe, cut out the ingrown portion of the nail, and drained a significant amount of pus from the infection. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the swelling came back again. I then scheduled an appointment with a podiatrist, who had to dig deeper, remove more of the nail, and apply a treatment to stop that part of the nail from growing back. What began as a $40 pedicure has turned into an expensive ordeal that I'm still unsure has been fully resolved. My suggestion would be to ask your nail tech to be very conservative with how much of your nail she cuts out when getting a pedicure because having an ingrown toenail is not fun! read more

Been going for months for my toes loved them till i recently went and was given a huge cut on my big toe by a male who clearly can't use a nail drill.. first he drilled my toe nails raw till they were burning then he proceeded to drill into my skin and then had the audacity to ask me for a tip afterwards like it was required when I went to pay.. I have come here a total of 3 times. They are usually busy and have lots of regulars. They take appointments but then are never ready for you when you arrive. I have had a mani/pedi and eyebrow waxing. They are not welcoming but not rude just kinda tense. I loved my eyebrows so thats a 10 out of 10. Good price great job. The nail techs on the other hand, some have a heavy hand and rush and burn you with the file. On the pedi same thing, you need to be direct and stand your ground. Last week during my pedi I clearly saw them doing a lady with fungus on her toes and the nail lady put her tool box in her box without even disinfecting a thing. I was like thats so not hygienic!!! I will be looking for another spot since Im new to this area and those types of things are a deal breaker for me. So in all honesty 2 out of the 3 times were good. I usually enjoy coming here, but today was horrible! DO NOT LET A GIRL NAMED KY GIVE YOU A PEDICURE! Ky gave me a pedicure today and I was brought to tears after suffering in silence for over 20 minutes. Ky is extremely aggressive when searching for ingrown toenails. She digs and digs and digs, almost to the point of lifting your whole toenail off. She uses the pointy part of the tool and digs further, stabbing the insides of your toenail and digging even more. I kept moving my toe out of the way saying "OWW! That hurts!" And she just kept going. I finally had to say, okay PLEASE JUST STOP DOING THAT! And she still kept going! It's like she's obsessed with finding an ingrown nail and doesn't care if it hurts to keep digging so hard. My toes were literally starting to bleed. It took everything in me not to go off on her in front of everyone. This was the most painful pedicure I've ever had in my life. Both of my big toes are still swollen and in so much pain, and I just pray that I don't get an infection from this. I will follow up with another review if I do. Please stay far away from Ky! She was very friendly and accommodating and got right down to work. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done (a classic French tip). While a French tip is probably routine, I like my tips very square and slightly widened at then end. Most people don't get the shape right but Mimi took her time and nailed it (pun intended). I used to love going here but yesterday showed me that i will not be coming here again. The last couple times i was here I had Jennifer do my nails and her work is usually great (hence why i kept coming back.) So yesterday I called right when they opened at 9am, made an appointment for my sister in law and I. 1 full set for her and a Fill and color change for me. I made the appointment for 4pm so it was later in the day. When we walked in they had no idea that i made an appointment but "serviced" us none the less. I write that with quotes because they started my Sis in laws nails but i waited about 30 mins and in that 30 mins 2 separate ladies (i assume that work there) asked me if i wanted pedicures, I politely declined because I wasnt there for that. Now The nail tech charged my sister in law 50$ despite telling her that they would be 35$ including the dip, she charged 15$ extra for two stickers. Now I had a completely different Nail tech than Jennifer and i quickly learned that this Tech had 0 patience for really anything when i asked her to correct a mistake, She basically carved in spots to fill in and made my nails so tight at the nail bed. Its normal to feel some tightness but this time was different and woke up today to find out why. I woke up today with Cuts on my friggin Pinky that were BLEEDING Because the sides were jagged and not smoothed correctly She only charged me 37$ but i don't think that's a price to pay to have your fingers bleed when you wake up a DAY after getting your nails done I can go on about more that happened but for brevity i am choosing to mention these key points. I used to love love love this place but this experience alone is the reason I'm never coming back. That nail tech should not have a license if she is giving people injuries for a service like this.
