So I asked if they can do simple designs multiple times for them to do worse than me. As a nail tech I'm upset. I asked for sharp square made me wait from 2:30-6:30 to give me shitty nails to charge me 60$. I would never in my life recommend coming here. Even the people around me were staring at me and the experience was terrible. Requesting refund? Nope cannot do it since the nails were already done. Even tho I was told that I see what one nail looked like then decide if I wanted all of them done. Shitty business. read more

I was recently convinced by my girlfriend to try a pedicure, something I had never experienced before. Because guys can do this too apparently? Now I completely understand why she enjoys it - it was a fantastic experience! The first thing that stood out was how clean and well-maintained the establishment is. The staff were incredibly welcoming, offering warm and sincere greetings upon arrival, and even providing a complimentary drink. Additionally, the massage chair and the expertise of the technician working on my feet made for an exceptionally relaxing experience. I highly recommend supporting this business. read more

I needed a last minute pedicure and my normal nail salon was booked up, so I decided to give this a place a try. First thing I noticed was that the salon was very neat and clean. The prices are also extremely reasonable...in fact some of the best I've seen in the area. I usually go at off peak hours, so I have never had an issue getting a Walk In when I do. The owner Catilyn is very friendly and professional. She makes it a habit to greet and check on all her customers to ensure they are happy with their services. I have had three different pedicure Techs and all of them have been very professional and provided quality work. However, I must admit that Anna is my favorite. I always get the 2nd Pedicure option and she gives me the most relaxing hot stone leg & foot massage I've ever had. One time she did a foot reflexology technique on my husband that took away his allergies. It was amazing! He was so impressed that he won't ever go to anyone else but her now. LOL If I had anything critical to say, it would just be that they need more nail color options for their Non-Gel polishes, but that's just me TRYING to find something negative in order to give constructive feedback. I recognize that most people like Gel, so I just work around this problem by bringing my own polish with me. Problem solved. Bottom line, if you're in the Elk Grove area, Chic Nail Salon is a great option. NOTE: Even though they accept card, i highly recommend paying in cash. The credit card fees are murder for these small business owners, so I don't mind paying in cash when they ask me, as a courtesy to the owner. I originally came to this nail salon because someone recommended them when I commented on her nail art. This place has changed ownership quite a bit over the last few years that I've been coming here-- but the recent ownership change has shown a stark improvement on their already good service. The colors of polish offered is quite considerable for Gel Dip. Way more variety than other local salons in the same price range. This was the first time in my few years of having my nails professionally done where my nail tech actually asked me questions to clarify what I wanted but also was educating me in the process. I showed him a picture of what I wanted done artwork wise and he said "okay the picture you showed me was matte. Do you want matte or gloss?" And when I discussed what art I wanted on my nails he was very collaborative with me and asked lots of questions to make sure he provided what I wanted. He may have talked me into giving me more than what I asked for but I'm so glad he did. It was such a relaxing experience and everyone at the salon was kind and friendly! I will be recommending this place and taking my friends next time! I also noticed that since changing ownership there have been a lot of improvements to the layout, decor, and even the staff seems to operate much more in a more organized and cohesive way. I have the strangest nails ever. They're kinda like a spatula...especially the ring finger. I went in for a manicure, and I told the man (I didn't catch his name) that I would like to make the ends longer. He looked at it and suggested that I get the tips and dip manicure. He asked me to pick a color and got to work. If you know me you know my nails have completely transformed. I was so happy and I was so surprised at how inexpensive it was! I've been coming here for over 6 years, I've been through three different owners. Loved the first owners, but stopped coming after the last owners due to the quality and customer service diminishing. The new (current) owners called me after New Years to let me know the salon was under new management and wanted me to come back and give them another chance. I really appreciated that they took the time to reach out to their past clients. I tend to be a very loyal customer, if you treat me right I will always come back. My mom and I went in for a mani/pedi and the service was phenomenal! They were very attentive and very thorough. Even my mom, who usually just does pedicures, got a gel manicure and now says she'll never go without. They were so good to her. Very happy with the new owners and glad to be back to my usual spot. read more

My go to spot because it's close to me and always easy to get in. Lots of pedicure options. The tv shows that are on can sometimes be annoying but I usually just bring head phones to drown it out. If management is looking for any recommendations I'd love to have relaxing music playing and tv off. It's always nice to unwind when you're getting your nails done. read more
