I am usually happy at any nail place I go but today, I was not. The pedicure was overall fine, I got the classic with basic white nail polish like I do anywhere and no complaints there. My gel manicure is another story. I didn't have the longest natural nails going in but I had at least something to work with. Without asking how I like my nails, the tech just jumped in and trimmed them all down and kind of rounded them all out but not well. That's not the part that bothers me the most, what bothers me the most is how uneven and bad they look. If you are going to trim down my nails without asking, at least you can make them even. For $35, I expect at least even nails. read more

I have never been here before until last week. I went there with my 2 friends, the best place I've ever been to. They start a conversation so you're not bored and they don't move your fingers in weird positions and usually, the tips of my fingers hurt when I'm done but they didn't hurt this time. They also put cuticle oil on which I have never had before. I have decided I am coming here every time I get my nails done. The best part: the nails I got would be $100 at my other place but here they were only $65! read more

Firstly I understand that they were busy but no one told me I would have a 20 minute wait when I came in. That along with the horrible result is why I will never be back here. My nails are not French TIPS as half of some of my nails are white, they are HUGE and uneven. Also my technician did not talk to me or ask what I wanted throughout the process, he asked about the French tips and then at the end if I liked the shape but then barely rounded them. He simply talked the the other technicians in a language I don't know making me feel like an inconvenience. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not waste your time. Go to AGLO down the road for the same price but a much better experience. I went to US nails the week of my wedding and I left crying without any of my nails painted. They gave me colors to choose from and they were out of every color I choose. I asked them to stop my service and I was going to go somewhere else to get the color I wanted for my wedding. They continued and had multiple employees surround me and insist they have thousands of colors. I said they did not have any of the colors I choose so I paid for the services they did and went to leave. The male employee on my way out called me a liar in front of the entire shop and said they are the best nails in Janesville and they had the color I wanted. I left embarrassed and upset, waited outside. Icing on the cake, my sisters and mother came out and their nails were horrible. They did the worst job and charge you over the top prices. I was so glad AGLO could see me and did an exceptional job. read more

I always get my nails done here! I've always had good experiences. Last Friday, I went and got dip done. By Sunday, a couple fingers had already chipped. And by Wednesday, 8/10 were chipped and coming off very easily. This has never happened before, so I called them and they immediately got me in that day to get them fixed. They were VERY busy at the salon but made sure to help me with my nails. She gave me a whole new set of dip nail free of charge. I really appreciated that and I left with a new beautiful set. I have only been here 3 times. On my second time I told the nail tech Billy that I wanted all red nails with a white design. I told him not once but, twice which red I had chosen. He gets all the old polish off and the fill done comes back and says he has a better red (not the one I chose). He starts painting my nails and left one unpainted, I pointed it out and he ignored me. He ended up painting that nail white. He said he could do a fireworks design and I thought cool I like fireworks. He put gold foil on one nail of each hand, the nail polish he used was pink, not red which I discovered after I got home and in natural light, he put several stripes of different colors with gold and red foils at the bottom of the white nail. On the pink nails he put a swipe of green magnetic nail polish at the top which made it look muddy. He never once told me there would be an up charge, I paid $55 for nails I didn't ask for because , he took it upon himself to do what he wanted rather that what I as the client wanted. I went back yesterday to get my nails done the way I originally wanted, told them about the incident with Billy and the sat there arguing with me telling me I should have stopped it. I explained that I told him twice what I wanted done and he ignored me and I was not about to leave with the nails half done. I told them if the nail tech listened to the customer and did what they asked for there would be nothing to stop in the first place and no issue. They tried to send me back to Billy tov get them redone and I said absolutely not. He's the reason I am back to get them redone! On top of that Billy started talking about me to the customer he was working on and got her talking crap about me as well. Cost me an additional $35 to get what I asked for the first time. They are extremely rude and have horrible customer service. Update: I believe in second chances. Tried this salon one last time today. First this was supposed to be a girls day to treat my best friend for her birthday. There were 4 of us. We were asked to come back at 6. They start me and my best friends grandbaby but, my bff and mom had to wait for other walk ins that came in after us. Second never have I been treated so rudely or with such disrespect as I have been treated there today. There is NO excuse to yell at a customer and tell them you're wasting their time because you accidentally bumped a nail and messed it up. I was so flustered my hands were shaking and I bumped them 3 more times after telling him calmly that accidents happen and please don't yell at me as he continued to yell at me. Then he accuses me of yelling at him when not one customer heard me raise my voice and said I was being mean to him! I had other customers coming over to me saying they heard it all and apologizing to me for the experience. read more

I had a decent experience in past visits here but i will not be going back. my friend and i booked an appointment and while she was served right away, i waited over 30 minutes to even get started while walk-ins we're getting started before me. when the nail tech finally arrived he was sloppy, rude, and seemed bothered that i was there in the first place. he was aggressive with my hands, pulling my arms around and he clipped my nails so short he drew blood. i asked for a simple acrylic set with no design, just plain color and i was charged as much as i have been when i've gotten a design. this establishment changes the prices on people seemingly whenever they like and rush through the service because they let non-appointments walk in. do not get your nails done here. read more

Have gone there for over 12 years, but the last 2 or so years it has changed a lot since Cindy left. Prices change every time I go in even if it is the same work done. They talk in their foreign language to each other a lot and it is rude and makes me uncomfortable. I will be finding a new place to go and Will let others know. I've had okay experiences here every time before this (somewhat) but I won't be going back. First, the place itself is dirty. Old cups from customers left there when the next customers comes up, no sanitation between customers (cleaning tools, changing gloves etc.) and children running everywhere knocking into things. Second, they over charge. A few times back i was getting acrylics removed and it said that was 12$ but I got charged 20$, after asking them why I was being charged 8$ extra they apologized and brought it down to 12. Had I not said anything they would've over charged me. Yesterday I got a full set which was 34$ they charged me 45$ and claimed the plain grey , coffin shaped was 11$ more. I didn't get any design or any crazy request, in my eyes it should have been 34$ and if they are going to make certain things cost extra they should state that prior. This was by far the most unprofessional, dirty, and just plain horrible nail salon I've ever been to. I do not recommend. read more

First: I never leave reviews unless they are positive reviews because most reviews left are negative. HOWEVER, I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went here based off a recommendation. I should have trusted my gut when I read the reviews and again, when I walked in and immediately was uncomfortable. The place is not clean, they are unprofessional, and their work is incredibly poor quality. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. It's been 4 days since and I have 3 nails that don't have a chip or are missing almost half the polish. 3! I went back to discuss getting my money back because this should have lasted at least 14 days and they insisted that I could only get my nails redone if I wanted and when I refused, they went so far as to say that I clearly chipped the nail polish off myself to make it look worse, all while all the employees were yelling at me that there was nothing they could do. Never ever ever again. My partner and I decided to treat ourselves to pedicures and looked forward to it all week. We arrive and my tech asks my partner when she's due. My partner is not pregnant. She then asks my partner how many kids she's had. My partner has never had children. She then whips out her phone and spends several minutes showing us pictures of her kid. Great. Thanks. Then she asks if my partner is my daughter. Um, no. There's an age difference and this faux pas I'll forgive. She asks me if I want my eyebrows waxed. I decline. She asks if I'll come in tomorrow and have them waxed. I again decline, feeling pretty much like I look like a Yeti. She was done with my pedicure super fast and not in a good way. My partner's technician was wonderful and did a great job. Mine...not so much. My feet are still very rough, and she did a crappy job painting the nails. As we're leaving, my partner's tech approached us and we showed her my feet and said I was pretty dissatisfied. She told the owner who couldn't be bothered to say A WORD to me. The nice tech apologized several times. The owner couldn't care less. Never ever ever again. Terrible customer service, awful pedicure job, and absolutely no concern over an unhappy customer from the owner. read more
