This place is so wonderful!!' True some of the best barbecue I have ever had. They don't really advertise their soups but if you try them you would be very delighted! Enjoyed their homemade smoked chicken and rice soup. Very filling also! I seem to order the nachos with pulled pork because it is so delicious! Freshly fried chips topped with bbq smoked pulled pork, romaine lettuce, olives, jalapeños, and tomatoes. There is so much I always end up taking it home! The service is also outstanding!

Our band played at Cuda's last Saturday. The room was great. The stage was a bit tight for our 5 piece but we managed. The acoustics were surprisingly good! Seems like a great place to check out live music! read more

What a hidden gem, lived near it for many years and went in the first time a few weeks ago. The smaller part at the entrance seemed like a small little hot dog place that was out dated and average but when I went to the back where the band was playing I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. the exterior is lacking and looks like a hole in the wall which those can be some of the best places. However when you enter the back section it was clean and the atmosphere was great! I was so glad I just stopped in with a friend who wanted to go there. I would have never guessed from the outside! The back patio could use a bit of life but I would give this place an 8/10! I will be back for sure. I hadn't eaten there so the 8/10 is for the unknown food adventure and the back patio and front entrance. read more

The food is great! They have someone who really cares about the food that is being served. Fish fry is great. The mac & cheese is sooo good but it needs to be served at a hotter temperature. The wings are great and so are the hand cut fries with the crunchy lil bits and I love that they serve them with homemade ranch. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bottle caps. I REALLY wish they would serve 3 with each entree so more people could try them AND so that I don't have to order the appetizer and eat the entire order myself! Love the music and the car shows and BINGO! There are so many great things about this place but the service isn't one of them. There are a couple of girls that are great but there are some that have been serving there for a long time that just just do not put forth any effort. We do eat here often but have never reviewed. Think comfort food with a pleasant twist to make it interesting. Classic car theme in a somewhat divey bar. We drove past this place a million times and never gave it a second look. Thanks to other yelp reviews gave it a try. We went with the special Mac and cheese for an appetizer and the hand tossed pizza. Mac and cheese was good and the pizza was amazing. The beer was so flat it was in undrinkable! Told the waitress it was flat and she took it and still charged us for it! Got the bacon burger which was the worst burger I've ever had in my life! There was 1 piece of bacon on it and so over cooked it was burnt. The fires were soggy and cold and still burnt(how does that happen) *pete he bingo announcer was the only good part about this whole experience* Will never go back... read more

Stopped in last night for dinner after reading all the great reviews here in Yelp! I agree that it is a place that I probably wouldn't have stopped at otherwise but I am so glad that I did. The environment was alright. I really enjoyed all the TV's that they had throughout the place. The mason jar beer glasses were great. The tap beer selection was small but had a good bottle selection. The food was wonderful. We had the pulled pork/mac n cheese appetizer and it was delicious. We also had a burger and the chicken sandwich and both were delicious. Highly recommend going to check this place out and I will certainly be back! read more

Kudos to whoever did the decorating inside Cuda's for that retro feel; having said that it seems like a GLARING omission not to have a Pinball machine. Might I suggest Stern's wildly successful "Mustang" pinball? These details can make a big difference. read more

Highly recommend this place. I came with my daughter and she loved the Chicken Tenders. You can tell that the batter is made fresh. I had the pulled pork which was amazing. I recommend having the corn and broccoli with garlic butter. Great beer selection. Our server Samantha was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. If you like fresh food(awesome fries!!), great service, and a chill atmosphere, this is your place!! read more

We were up in Fox Lake area and found Cuda's on Yelp. It looked like an interesting menu so we stopped in. It was pretty empty as it was mid day on a very cold day. Our waitress was great and very knowledgeable on the menu. We ordered a series of appetizers including the boneless wings, pork wings, and a French fry special that had pulled pork, bacon, vegetables and cheese. My son also ordered a meatball sandwich. Everything was amazing. The boneless wings were nice and crispy. The ranch dressing is homemade and so good we bought some to take home. The pork wings were flash fried pork shanks that were crispy and awesome with the orange pepper marmalade. The meatball sandwich disappeared and his sweet potato fries were perfect. I don't give reviews too often - but had to write one for Cuda's. They deserve their success. read more

Went here on advice from yelp and oh how u was amazed. Nice bar area with live music weekends but the food and cocktails we're to die for. First time I had the pulled pork platter which was great along with the fresh cut fries. The homemade bloody marry with bacon infused vodka was crazy good. Also the Mac and cheese topped with pulled pork was a small but incredibly tasty appetizer Second time at Cuda's I went from like to live with this place. The Chicken and waffles had me hooked for life. Light fluffy waffles with a soft crisp that tasted like they were pre-dipped in butter and lightly breaded crispy but tender chicken pieces with yes a orange-habanero marmalade!!!! I will be going back again very soon read more

Classic Car Shows, friendly people, home-like feel. Although I have not tried everything on the menu as of yet, every experience here has been good. The live bands are solid, the waitresses and bartenders are always atop their game, and the cooks do an amazing job. This is a great Lake County bar. read more

Stopped in last week for their $5 burger special on Thursday, ordered a well-done burger and it was so pink I think it was still moving. Looked done but it was cooked from frozen, yuck! The sweet potato fries where not hot at all and no salt on them, wtf? Needless to say, I will not be back!!! It's amazing to see how downhill a place can go since August 2015.... SAD! read more

My new favorite go to place! I have been here about five times. Food and service have always been dead on! Homemade mozzarella sticks, yum! Egg burger on a pretzel bun, cooked to perfection. Pizza is hot fresh and so full of toppings. The Revolution beer is great. For a real treat try the Bloody Mary, house infused bacon flavored vodka, served with bacon. Don't trust the exterior. Inside is classy bar with auto motif. Service was great, food was incredible. Had BBQ Mac and cheese and the PBR beer can chicken. Some of the best two dishes I have had in years. Prices reasonable and I can't wait to come back!!!! read more

Cute, yummy and friendly. This is our second time here for lunch and both times the service was great and the food was delicious. The beer can chicken sandwich is amazing and my husband enjoyed both the cheeseburger and the stuffed buffalo burger and loved them. I can see this becoming one of our regular places. I guess in their mind it was my fault that a first time customer did not know the ins and outs of their ordering system. A real caveat emptor company. I prefer companies that try to look out for their customers.

But then, who doesn't love restaurants that serve delicious food, at reasonable prices, in a clean, quaint setting, with friendly service? My wife and I have been here many times and have never left disappointed. I highly recommend starting out with the Bruschetta. It is very good. Some of our favorite entrees include: Ravioli Rosa, Chicken Parmigiana (the breading on the chicken is wonderful), Lasagna, and Shrimp alla Diavolo. The soup of the day is always homemade and delicious! They also have great pizza! This is one of the best Italian Restaurants in Lake County. But don't take my word for it...go see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

"are the fresh Battered or frozen"? Pleasantly told.. FRESH!! YES!!!!!! Great start!!! The friendly waitress told us all their battered food are FRESHLY HAND DIPPED!!!.. WOW WOW WOW Our group ordered the baby back ribs, Tavern Fish Fry, chicken tenders & broasted chicken. All meals came with homemade soup, side (ohhhh they had TOTS.....YUMMY!!!!) and a vege (tonight was broccoli). The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The ribs....omg....fall off the bone!!!! Sauce was yummy... not too sweet..perfectly spiced).,,We were all impressed with each other's meals, everyone was sharing tastes like we were at a food tasting...lol ... ALL of it was ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! The ambiance is casual with a nice mix of different music not too loud. The waitress gave us a little history of this restaurant...all family owned...2nd generation All employees are family and or went to school together. This restaurant used to be hopping every time we went here. We visited 2 weeks ago on a Friday night at 7:00pm and we were the only customers. Beautiful restaurant but management needs to overhaul the menu and you'll get your customers back in no time.

Hidden gem in northern Lake County. Outstanding food! This place is a wonderful culinary experience disguised as a local bar. Great to place to listen to live bands, enjoy a cocktail and the food is amazing. Very simple decor but who needs trendy ambiance when the chef is a genius?!!! Incredibly creative twists on classic menu items that are beautifully prepared. Be patient if they are busy. It's not a chain type restaurant and is absolutely worth the wait...especially when you see how low the prices are. If you are a "foodie" this place should be next on your list. read more

Ive spent many many lunch breaks here and taken my wife to dinner here. I was appalled to see the other day the bartender set up and facilitate a drug deal with people from Zion coming in to sell to a local at the bar. I moved my wife and kid from Los Angeles to Antioch to get away from this kind of trash. I will NEVER go back to this bar again and SHAME on them for allowing dog crap people into our town. read more

This place is great! The pizza is amazing. Bands on the weekends and cars during the week! Great friendly staff and clean bathrooms! What bar has those anymore? Cuda's that's who! Bring some friends and come hang out on a Saturday when the bands are playing! Great place. read more

This has become our favorite fish fry anyplace. You get so much fish, and it has the best batter around! Hot and flaky and also thr best price around! Highly recommend. We love their burgers too but tonight it is all about the fish! read more
