I was initially looking for a tuxedo for a wedding but ended up walking out with a suit that I couldn't help but to purchase because they had a great sample set up. The only person to help me here was Ray. He was great and making my experience here amazing. He took my measurements and set me up with the suit I wanted. He also put it all together on a display to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Great guy! The suits here have a colored tag on them, they determine how much a suit is. You can find the price for suits displayed on a banner up on the isles. Great selection of suits at an affordable price. If you need a tailor, they have one next door. read more

Came in here for a suit for my fiancé and the man helping us was unprofessional, pushy and had a nasty sarcastic humor. He approached us right when we entered the store and didn't leave our side at all. He sent my fiancé to try (1) suit . I said I rather have him try a couple suits . He's like "that's all I have in brown" my fiancé said ok .. so he went in tried it on and this salesman was outside waiting didn't even give us a minute alone to talk about it together . My fiancé said "I look fancy" and the sales person chuckled and said "ha a suit doesn't make you look fancy" . My fiancé didn't hear and went to take off the suit. When he stepped out the sales man said ok you need a tie ? He didn't even let us walk around the store. He wanted us out asap. Will never go back. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go to Men's Wear house instead and ask for Brett, the one on Edinger Ave in HB, he's very efficient. read more

I was here last summer finding a good Hollywood suit for a wedding . Now I am here for something possibly nice for another wedding invite me and my girl are going to. This place has awesome tuxedos and inexpensive Armani suits. You really get good quality here for more bang for your buck. Walked in and the gentle Vaio helped me out in finding some clothes. Great place and awesome service. read more

Suits are good if you have a son going to prom or another school dance. As for an adult suit I felt like is was poorly made. The suit we got for my husband just didn't hold up well. If you have not met Mr.Ray, you are probably wearing the wrong suit. I visited this Hollywood Suits store on 07/01 and I was immediately welcomed by the gentlemen in the front who introduced me to Mr. Ray. I am so lucky I got to meet Mr. Ray and have him be my go to person at this location. From the beginning, he understood what I was looking for and listened to my requests. Mr. Ray was very generous and patient throughout the whole process. He went through the trouble of showing me 5 different suits I can choose from for my groomsmen and even presented me with two great options for me to wear during my wedding day which is coming up in September. I ended up purchasing the suit shown on the picture for my groomsmen and Mr. Ray was kind enough to provide the same deal for all 4 of my groomsmen and give them all accessories (shirt, tie, belt, and socks). Mr. Ray even helped me choose each accessory while providing excellent customer service the whole time. Mr. Ray is a gem and this store is lucky to have him. The only thing I didn't like about this store is there was a lady who was being mean to Mr. Ray for no reason when he told her I was ready to checkout. She asked him all these questions about what suit I am purchasing and where all the accessories were, when Mr. Ray already had everything ready for me. She didn't even give him a chance to speak and I felt really bad for him. read more

This place is phenomenal. George helped my husband find his suit and he was so respectful the entire time. He provided us with his expert opinion and allowed us to make the decision. We had a bad experience at another suit store because they pushed their opinions on us. However here, they educate you, allow you to ask questions and provided suggestions based on your style. Everything was very organized. We liked the place so much, we bought more than we expected. Don't waste your time anywhere else and come here! read more

I probably have purchased 14+ suits from HS in the past 7 years. I am used to going into other stores (Like Nordstrum's) and finding one or two (usually black) suits in my size. At HS, I go to the 54L rack, and there are 40-50 different suits in a wide variety of colors/styles to choose from. While their suits are not the "finest on the market", they are all good quality suits that look good and last. Regular sized guys can shop for suits anywhere, but if you need a variety of larger suits, Hollywood Suits is the place. FYI: I'm not a big fan of their tailors, so i take the suits to my regular person for hemming, etc. read more

Hollywood Suits is a large warehouse full of classy suits and accessories. My husband, sons and I came in on a Sunday and were immediately greeted and helped by a wonderful salesman named Rod. He was so knowledgeable and knew the exact sizes and types of suits my hubby and sons needed and matched them with handsome dress shirts and accessories. I went last night to buy shirts, and I saw a offer for $39.99 on a jacket. Which it was nice. But when cashier charge my credit card total was $53 and change and I ask why is $53 when the sign says $39.99. Cashier call the mgr which I think her name was Terry not to sure about her name. But mgr came and she ask what was the issue. Cashier explain her about the sign says $39.99 but the tag on the Jacket says $49.99. The mgr instead of honor the price of $39.99 Her answer was if he doesn't want to pay the price return the money to his credit card. PLEASE If u are not going to honor a price. Don't put a sign with a price and then change the price at the time of payment. read more

The sale was held behind its headquarters building. If you walk straight along the side of the building and turn left at the end, you will see the entrance marked off with yellow tape. There is also more parking available in the back, so you can park closer and walk a shorter distance. I went on the 27th. When you enter the sale, staff hand everyone a large plastic bag and a price sheet. If items sell out, they cross them off the list. If you see something you like, you can just grab it and put it straight into your bag. Discounts vary depending on the item, but some deals were surprisingly good. For example, all belts were just $1 each. The sale was organized into men's, women's, and youth sections, and sizes were pretty well stocked. There was also a full-length mirror in the back left corner where you could quickly try things on. I ended up picking up a beach hat and a T-shirt that I really liked. Includes the socks, tie, and the whole suit. Customer service was fantastic, they are very helpful on finding the right size and let you try on different sizes to make sure it fits you. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.

Most recently we visited with our friend to obtain a nice suit for a very special occasion. We were strongly disappointed to find out our friend was misinformed. In fact the manager appears to have condoned of the deliberate misinformation. That completely coincides with misinformation. What was the hidden : Motive and intent? Was the hidden motive and intent to quickly close a sale to obtain a commission. To elaborate briefly: A.K.A at will employee : R. informed a customer and consumer that : The Torrance Hollywood Suites ,had a inside tailor ,also that the tailoring is free and also: The suit can be obtained the very same day. The manager was informed. He made excuses: Such as maybe it was a mistake. His response shows he condoned of the willful neglect. What is a honest mistake of fact? California Penal Code:26 . Is very clear: (1.) A imbecilic from birth. (2.) Ignorant. (3) Unconscious. (4.) Threat of life. So as we see clearly based on the evidence : A.K.A. : R. is guilty of deliberately misleading a customer. No at will employee of : Hollywood Suites should ever mislead or lie to any customer. Broken promise: California Labor Code:920. False advertising. California Business and Professions Codes: 17200,17500,17509 . We hear on the radio this and that. However: How many customers and consumers want to be lied to? Next: Suppose : A.K.A: R. refuses to admit guilt? Now we must ask ? Would he volunteer for the :( Trinity Of Truth ) ? (1.) No.Lie.M. Worst possible customer service from Sam the Store Manager. Complete disgrace having this crook represent this business. If you are not willing to buy 'now,' you will receive no customer service. Five guys will stand around you trying to get the sale. Your needs DO NOT MATTER. They will even lie and claim that they don't have a deal in stock in order to up-sale you. This is fraud and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Please submit a complaint yourself if you feel you have been a victim of this store. Store Manager: Sam called another location to get my information. Sam then lied about the information missing and that I was to just "buy from his location". I checked and found that nothing was in fact missing and it was a sleazy way to get victims to buy suits from this crooked business. Consumers you have plenty of other options when It comes to purchasing suits. Exhaust them first and save yourself time and a head ache by wasting your life here. Better pricing at Nordstrom's or other department stores during their sales which will put the prices even lower than Hollywood Suits. I knew I needed some suits for a new job I got and I had seen a commercial, so I went in. Very quickly, I was greeted by Greg. This place was huge and I had no idea how to "get started." He showed me the pricing banner. You can get 3 suits (coat and pants), 3 shirts, 3 ties with a matching hanky, 3 belts, and 3 pairs of socks for X dollars. X depends on the "tag color" of the suit. I chose green since I was okay spending $299+tax, but the price for all of this ranged from $199 to $2999. Also, individual prices on suits were also offered, such as $67 for a single suit. Greg was very friendly and knowledgeable. He determined my correct size just by looking at me. He was patient with me and quickly returned suits to the rack that did not meet my desires until we found the right ones. He took me station by station (suit, tie, belt...) and totally made this seem less. I was in and out in under $20 minutes with a lot of great clothes and a great deal. If you need a wardrobe update, head in to H.S. in Westminster and ask for Greg if he's on shift! read more

Michael was great. he greeted as we got in explained to him did not know much about clothing. looked at me said lets try this one on for size. Once we found my size told him what we are getting the suit for and came up with a great suite with all the accessories we need to look great. Gave us a deal on the shirt tie and socks and belt. Jason rung us up made sure we were taking care. Recommended we go next door to the Tailor to make a perfect fit. Gave us a price for tailoring but when we got over there it was a bit higher $20 higher. If price is a issue get a quote from the tailor next door before buying the suit. But it looks like they know the business of tailoring. Would get my suit from them again. Thanks again guys for making a blue collar worker look like a million dollar man. read more

The place is clean and pretty nice for a discount suit place. Greg had greeted us and directed us to the section for my size and let us be. Unlike some of the reviews, I wasn't pressured or upsold. They were actually understanding to budget. Saw a slim fit suit I had liked for $99 but they didn't have it in our size. Offered to get it from their Hollywood location and have it sent up the next morning by 10 am. That would of been okay except for I had a wedding to go to at 8 am the next morning. Recommend if you're looking for a deal on a suit. They seem to have about a little room to discount the suit. If you find a suit you like, ask them to call Corporate to find out what the best deal on the suit would be. read more

Hollywood suits? more like shitty suits. This place is awful. The customer service is horrible. As soon as I walked in, I was stared down and no one even offered to greet me or acknowledge I was a customer. It took me 30 minutes before I could even get help and that was because I had to hunt down an employee who didn't act busy. All I wanted was a modern fitted suit in the price range of 200 - 300 and they kept trying to up sell me an expensive suit. Seriously, these guys are worse than telemarketers. All the employees look like a bunch of crooked scrumbags who just got hired straight out of the penitentiary. So disappointed in the service I received! Went in with my best man to get wedding suits and was told I could get the suits for a super good price. Gave them my groomsmen info so they would have what we needed when we came in next. When we came in, they raised the prices!! I was told I would get them for the price they gave the first time but they did not honor it. There is way more to the situation that made my experience even worse. They are now losing future business from me as well as all 7 of my unmarried groomsmen... This is my go to place from now on! From the moment I walked inside, I was welcomed by Michael our consultant. Without even touching me, Michael already knew my size and took me directly took me to the aisle. He explained all the promotions they had and all their pricing (great deals!) I told him what I was looking for, the color, the fit, and the price range, and he picked out a suit for me. Tried on the jacket and it fit great! We then went to the fitting room to try on the pants and again everything fit great! Michael also recommended a really nice shirt and tie combination that I couldn't refuse. Rob is the MAN!!! Just was browsing the internet and saw this place to buy suits for work. Happened to walk in and was immedialtely assisted by Rob who has a GREAT talent for putting a suit shirt and tie together in a very timely mannor. Rob was very courteous, made sure I was completely satisfied and took the time to make sure I was well taken care of from beginning to end. Eric took care of the measurements for the alterations and Michael took care of me at the register. I did not feel rushed or pressured into buying something I was not looking for. Highly recommended this place for suits! I personally hate wearing suits, but my wedding came and I was in need of a new suit for it! ROD was extremely helpful in helping us pick out the suit that fits me in a super fast time. I was so thrilled and satisfied with his service that I came back the next day asked him to pick out another suit, this time for my father in law. AVOID!!!! This was honestly the worst experience I have EVER had at a suit/tuxedo store. They sold me a pair of pants that were such a piece of shit that they BROKE DURING MY FRIEND'S wedding. It was humiliating. I couldn't even partake in the event because I had broken pants. When I confronted them afterwards, their response was "we will get them tailored for you at our buddys place next door." Totally missed the point that their crappy inventory literally ruined one of the most special days in our lives. Starting the busy summer months I needed to upgrade my suit collection, I stopped by the Hollywood location. Greeted by the friendly girls at the register. They called Jon on the loud speaker with 16 years of experience. He's very patient and more than happy to voice his expertise and experience. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had to order a pair of shoes from the store. A week went by... no call. They forgot to place the order and the shoe was no longer available in my size. They followed up with excuses and pointing fingers. Apparently they had a half size bigger available in the store, so I drove over to pick them up within the hour. After waiting fifteen minutes with no help.... No shoes, more excuses, more finger pointing. This place is incredibly unprofessional and completely classless. If only zero stars was an option. read more

Went into Hollywood Suits this afternoon looking for a suit for a job interview tomorrow. I was greeted by Rod and he gave me a quick glance and grabbed a 2 piece suit for me that not only fit perfectly but looked great as well and was within my budget. I ended up having money to spare and he found me an awesome shirt,tie,belt,hankey,and socks for an extra $25. This place made buying suits so much fun haha! My boyfriend and I came here because he's about to start a job that requires business attire every day. Mike was really helpful and patient with all of the different questions we had. The actual location has a huge variety and the layout is nicely done, you can see so many options. When you get the package deal, you can also lay out your suit with shirt and tie on a table they have out on display so you can see how everything goes together. Ray, the manager, initially assisted us and was professional and helpful when placing the order. I specifically pointed to a mannequin and requested that exact suit combination, including long ties (not bowties). I also made it very clear that one of the groomsmen would be flying in from Germany and likely wouldn't be able to pick up his suit until the day before the wedding. I asked multiple times if this would be an issue, and Ray reassured me that everything would be fine and that the suit would be in stock--even during prom season. Leading up to the wedding, I called about three separate times and spoke with different staff members to confirm that the suit for our groomsman would be ready. Each time, I was reassured that there would be no problem. However, the day before the wedding, when our groomsman went to pick up his suit, it was not available. They couldn't find the order or the suit, and he had to drive to another location to get it. This was completely unacceptable--especially given how many times I had called to confirm. The timing made it even worse, as it added unnecessary stress right before the wedding. On top of that, all of the groomsmen were given bowties instead of the long ties I had specifically requested, which was another frustrating mix-up. Unfortunately, the issues didn't end there. When the suits were returned, we were told that one of the tuxedos had not been returned. We confirmed with our mother-in-law that she had dropped off all the suits at Friar Tux. Despite this, we were charged for the missing tux. Later, it turned out the suit *had* been returned--they simply failed to log it properly or place it in the correct area. This level of disorganization is unacceptable. Even worse, after charging us for the tux, they did not fully refund the amount once the mistake was discovered. We were shorted approximately $150, which led to another frustrating process of trying to get our money back. We were transferred multiple times and had a very difficult time resolving the issue. While Ray did apologize and refunded part of the issues, the response didn't feel very sincere, and it seemed like everything was brushed off. A refund does not make up for the stress, time, and inconvenience caused during such an important event. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Between the missing suit, incorrect items, poor communication, and billing errors, I would not rent from here again.

As I walked into the store, I began to browse, hoping to connect with a friendly face so I could begin spending. Minutes flew by and still nothing. Not a greeting not a nod, not even an acknowledgment. I walked up to a salesman and asked if he worked at the store. He looked up from his iPad & with an annoyed glare said that he was already helping two other people and that I would have to put my name into the waiting list. This is my first time here so I had no idea such thing existed. The man rushed off without further interaction. I then tracked down another employee and asked where I would join said waiting list. She too was quite busy and annoyed with my request, but she offered a QR code and so I scanned it to join the waiting list. I continued waiting for nearly half an hour. I then asked another associate who also was very annoyed at my presence about how long I'd have to wait. He told me that they were very busy (although there was no one in the store) and that it would be at least another 30 minutes. I left the store and began shopping at other locations. I spent an hour and finally decided to stop back in (I had received no update whatsoever). When I returned, I was told that there was still one more person ahead of me that hadn't showed and that if they didn't show they could possibly get to me in about 20 minutes. I decided that Suit Supply wasn't for me so I went to the Nordstrom's around the corner and found an incredible suit. I ended up buying a beautiful luxury suit for just over $2000. And while I am grateful to Nordstrom's and the wonderful associate who helped me, I can't help but feel that not only did suit Supply miss out on a good sale & loyal patron, but perhaps I'm not the only one they've done this too. After looking at the reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence. I'm not sure where selling suit became so important that customer service is discarded but I don't imagine suit supply will be opened very long with this type of poor performance. I wish I could tell you that the suits were good or bad or anything at all, but I can't. I simply was not given the time of day. Oh well. My money went to a Better store and I now have a beautiful suit to wear to Monaco France. In the future, I hope that suit supply will treat their clients with basic kindness and human decency. They might actually make a sale.
