Nice big dealer and good service. I ordered my new car here. 3 months wait. Will see what happens.

It was a pleasure to do business with. We ordered a car three months ago, but due to Toyota supply constraints, we finally got that car. The sales lady, Cassandra, was a pure joy to talk to, and she was so kind and patient in showing us all the car's features and answering all our texts promptly. The finance guy, Joe, was okay, too. We got out, and it took about an hour to pick up the vehicle: no pushy sales or anything. If I am buying another Toyota car, I will think of them.

Went here for an oil change on my 2015 Avalon. They charged me a 6.95 shop supply fee. It was explained as a charge to cover the cost of paper towels and rags used during my oil change. An oil change already cost 96.00 before taxes were applied. Did they really need to pinch another 6.95 from my pockets? It's the little things that matter to me and I will never use them again.

I bought a newer Tacoma in February 2023 with the help of Husam (Sam) Ibrahim and Jordan Ramos. They were great to work with. After being satisfied with my 2010 Tacoma for years from this dealership, I was happy to continue giving them my business. My only regret was not doing the survey to give these gentlemen more credit months ago before the time expired.

Perfectly fine tires (rear)

Had enough. Buyer Beware. Purchased vehicle "as-is" on 04/22/2020, was told the car was mechanically in perfect condition and serviced regularly at Holman Toyota, they also provided the CARFAX to "prove-it". These reports also show that the windshield & tires were replaced on 03/12/2020, and that other maintenance was done on the car at that time. First issue I noticed was before I purchased the vehicle, is that there was paint chipping in many places, and that a weird off colored paint was used to cover it up. I figured it was just a cosmetic issue, so we took it for a test drive with absolutely no issues. Since cosmetically the car wasn't in the best of shape, we asked for some wiggle room on the price. We were told that this Toyota dealership does not negotiate prices on used Toyota vehicles whatsoever. I talked it over with my husband, and for the reliability of the car we decided it was an acceptable price. I purchased the vehicle that day, and only after purchasing was told that the spare key was at Holman Ford, but that Holman Toyota would be in touch to get me the second key within the next couple of days. We don't live in the area, so we'd have to make the hour drive to pick it back up. Inconvenient but bearable. They did not get back to me. Instead, I had to call Phil a week later who then said holman couldn't locate the spare but he'd "have a guy make me a new key." Great. Free of charge and picked it up. Next week, I purchased all new AUX and charging cables because I wasn't able to connect my phone, and thought it was due to faulty wires. Nope! Had to bring the car back in for the second time in 2 weeks to have the AUX port replaced. Two weeks later, I decided to reach out to a different Toyota dealership that has a body shop to see what could be done about all the chipped paint. They mentioned that there was a recall on the paint and that they'd paint it fully covered under the Toyota manufacture recall. I was feeling pretty lucky so I brought it in so they could look at it. They found the mysterious off colored paint (I mentioned earlier) on multiple different places of the car including on the gear shifter & the windshield. Yes the new windshield that was replaced at Holman Toyota when the car was traded in. Which means that Holman Toyota employees used what looked like white out, to PAINT and cover up the cosmetic issues of the car. I had also asked about this at the time of purchase and the salesman (Phil) stated that the "previous owners must've done that to cover the peeling paint." I mention this, because if you're purchasing a vehicle from Toyota and there's cover up paint on peeled areas, it was most likely the dealership that put it there. 3 months after the paint job was completed, the transmission started giving me issues. When keeping the vehicle at 35-40mph the transmission makes a rattling sound. I've since learned that it means it is searching for the appropriate gear. Took the car in and have resolved that issue on our own. 2 years later, come to find out 2 of the "4 new tires" placed on the vehicle at the time of sale were old and the manufacture date on the tires prove that. Now I have 2 tires that are cracking/rotting & 2 tires that are perfectly fine (see pictures). I called Holman Toyota to see if anything could be done and was told "since it's been 2 years nothing can be done" by the used sale dept manager. You can't just replace 2 tires, so I'll be paying near $800 to have what are supposed to be "new tires" replaced. Which is fine, but I'm leaving this review for the next family to consider the shady things that happen here. You'd think buying a Toyota at a Toyota dealership would be a smart idea, but I don't trust this place regardless of the type of car you're buying.

Customer service text message inquiry

My experience ended poorly. As per the email request, i scheduled my final "complimentary" maintenance on my 2020 trd pro 4 runner. Arriving just prior to my scheduled Appointment I was checked in and told it would be an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes if I were to wait. I agreed. An hour and a half later I asked if my vehicle was complete and I was informed that they had not even moved it into the shop to start the maintenance. I requested my keys back with nothing but a few hours lost in my day. This made me feel like Holman Toyota did not value my time and that was disappointing. When they send the text message to ask how my visit was, I responded with above. I did not get a response back. They then sent an email, asking for a review of my experience much like the text message. I did not get a response back. Not only did I waste my time at the dealership and not have my car serviced, I wasted my time by providing feedback about my experience as they requested. I can't seem to understand why they would request feedback, without taking advantage of the opportunity to improve their customer satisfaction.

Admittedly I was nervous pulling behind a ramshackle house but luckily I didn't judge this place by the cover and neither should you. Took my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 here initially looking for just an oil change and tire rotation. Upon my own consideration and talking with the crew- got a 100,000 mile makeover done, transmission pan drop and top off, oil, brakes, rotors, diff fluid, brake fluid, and a handful of odds and ends. Quoted me HALF of what the dealership wanted, made useful (but not pushy) suggestions, and ultimately left me in charge, not trying to upsell me whatsoever. Got it all done in 2 days as I was on a time crunch and couldn't be without a car long for work. I will absolutely be returning.

I have been going to Ward because they are close by and have high ratings, but after 2024 I will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone else give them their business. I took my car in to have 4 new tires put on back around September, which Ward did. However shortly after this I began to notice a rumbling/helicopter-like sound coming from under my car. I brought it back to them, they put it up on the lift and determined I needed a new front right tire rod. We replaced this for $500, immediately after I left the shop I noticed the noise even louder than before. I called them right back and explained that the issue was still there, the guy said he couldn't hear anything when he took it for a test, so I brought it back the next day and he said he could hear it now. They put it back on the lift, and told me it was my rear control arm causing the wobbling. This was after $800 on tires and $500 on the tire rod, Bob said they'd work with me to fix the control arm. When they got back to me with a quote it was almost double what they originally estimated. Bob Ward assured me that the wobbling was not a safety issue, and not an immediate repair. I had concerns because Christmas was around the corner and we would be traveling. They said it would be OK, it was safe to drive, and we could fix it after the holidays. On Christmas Eve as I'm driving my family to my mother's for dinner, my rear passenger tire came off -while we were driving-. It sheared clean off and rolled down the road, thankfully we were not on the highway and I was able to quickly pull over or it would have been a disaster. The tire rolled all the way down the street, thankfully no pedestrians were out at the time and oncoming traffic was able to avoid it. I had my girlfriend and child in the car at the time. I immediately called Ward and left an understandably angry voice mail. We called AAA who towed the car to a family members house who is also a mechanic. Both the AAA tech and my mechanic said they've never seen anything like this, and the only way for it to have happened was for the lugnuts to have been insanely overtorked when my tire was put on. When Ward called me back the day after Christmas to talk about what happened it seemed like the whole thing was an inconvenience for them. Bob didn't take any responsibility, tried to play it off even though they are the only ones to touch this car. When I started mentioning how he put my family and child in danger he rose his voice and said "Will you shut the **** up?!" ....Now I don't know if Bob is just losing it with old age or something, but when your business almost injures a family and the customer calls upset, you don't curse them out. Common sense. My mechanic fixed the whole issue for 150 bucks while Ward was happy continually having me come back in for work that not only did not solve my problem, but caused it. Update: they take no responsibility for any of this despite being my only mechanic for years, but did offer a whopping $150 to cover my mechanic fixing it in "good faith" that I declined.

His grouchy demeanor mixed with the fact that he carefully guided an older customer to his car who was unsteady on his feet, left me unable to get a read on him. He is the type of guy where you can't tell if they are serious or joking when they rudely insult you, because sometimes they really aren't serious. Unfortunately for me he wasn't joking, he began informing me that he would never ever be repairing my car again. I thought he was messing with me since he said it out of left field. So I played along until he aggressively came at me saying that I was high on drugs and that's why he doesn't need my business! I've never felt so disrespected , angry, or humiliated by a stranger in my life! I was not high, drunk, or impaired in any way. He was being loud enough at this point so other customers could hear. In my opinion, this individual may have a family member or someone he cares for who may be suffering from a substance abuse disorder or something. I hope that this outburst stemmed from a personal issue that this individual is dealing with. But while running a business, you need to leave home, home so you don't blow up on an innocent customer. I've never experienced this level of disrespect as a customer. Hey buddy why would you ever think I would want to come back to your small gas station shop. Be Careful who you speak to like you spoke to me cuz next time he may not be a small white girl.
