I definitely recommend getting some grinds from this food truck while you are skydiving/ with your skydiving friends/ or just in the area. It has seriously amazing food and drink and the guy that runs the truck is really nice and you can tell he has a passion for what he does! It is parked right next to Oahu Parachute Center which is the last sky dive company on the left when you pull in. Plenty of parking no worries :) aloha !

They give the same amount of rice. This time around, went on a Sunday in July; took over 45 min from ordering to getting the food. Difficult to get a seat. There's a sign that they didn't have the spice version available because they were short staff. However, they gave chili sauce. Finding a parking spot in the shared lot was quick; they still charge $2 to park.

The Garlic beef hot dog is literally a hot dog with minced garlic tossed on top. They didn't dress the dog or anything. It was dry and the garlic was caked on there so much we had to scrape alot off. Definitely had better. The Shrimp plate was totally the same way but it had rice which by the way why was the rice mushy? C'mon guys we cant have mushy rice. Smh...... this was a miss all around. Service: The staff was focused on moving fast but doesn't really engage with customers. This also changes the experience of going to Giovanni. I don't know, maybe they can be a little more social with their guests especially after tossing dry hot dogs and mushy Shrimp are way. Another miss on this one. Atmosphere: This was my favirite part. The location is amazing and their are other food trucks surrounding Giovanni's so you do have other options s and honestly I would venture to the other trucks. The crepes Van is amazing. Theirs also a lot of chickens walking around so be mindful if your not a fan of free range chickens. Location: Its in the Ohau, North Shore in a small lot. Parking: Parking is tight but it moves. Its also $5 to park in the lot or you can go around the corner and park. Price: No joke for what we got this location is way over priced. Beware.

I also have a positive review of them so I'm not bias. This is just better imho. I'm a week late on the review, but better late than never. Food (5 stars) + Extra shrimp upgrade for a few bucks? Huge portion, bigger shrimp, perfectly balanced flavors--not drowned in butter. Great presentation too! + Hot sauce with a sweet kick--absolutely complementary. + Kalbi plate was tender and delicious--sweet, savory, and bone-in goodness. Service/Ambiance (5 stars) + Quick service, easy seating right in front of their truck, no confusion. + Personal touch with celebrity signatures on the truck--BTS included! (Not that I know much about them, but pretty cool) ~ Parking here is $2 and $5 in another lot about a block away. We paid the $5 to support the local community. This is the one I'll rave about! When I'm back, Hono's is my first stop. And yes, check out that BTS autograph!

Can't speak for the sides, but the chicken itself was seasoned perfectly. Not overly salty which I really love. They were using big block quality mesquite wood charcoal for it and I noticed they actually put love into every chicken. But overall if you ever see this off the road you should stop by and try it out.

I ordered the dragonfruit and lilikoi slush. I really liked the texture of this and was a refreshing treat for a hot day. It was a little more on the icy/watery side, so I wish it had a bit more flavor and honey on it. For pizzas, we ordered the fungi pizza and goat and honey pizza. The fungi was delicious as there was a generous amount of mushrooms and cheese. The goat and honey pizza was good but not as good as the fungi. I liked the texture of the crust on both pizzas. Overall, a solid spot if you're craving pizza on the North Shore.

But its been a steady decline and drop in quality. This is specifically for the Haleiwa location. I've been to the Kailua location once right after they opened; experience was similar but they just opened. Biggest problem: they cant put out food in a timely manner. 30+ min wait for a pizza when there is only one other customer there and 3 employees in the truck. Pizza should not take that long. Pizza: Its OK pizza. The most recent one I got was their Hawaiian (pictured). Very greasy. Pizza is small, one is not going to be a meal for two people. At $23 bucks, its definitely pricey for what you're getting. Sourdough crust has good taste but it either didnt cook all the way through or the grease soaked through and it was a little spongy. Slush: My other problem. Used to be unbelievably good and unique. But the consistency has changed. I Regularly find big ice chunks. It used to be smooth, full-flavored, could taste the fruit; no more. You can get much better just straight ShaveIce with natural fruit flavor at dozens of places on the island. It's a bummer. Ive been a customer since it was a dude and his girlfriend slinging honey slush out of farmers marker tents. As much as I want it to be, Its just not as good anymore.

Just good food, made with real hands and real care. I ordered the Mushroom Burger, and it honestly changed the game for me. The patty was juicy and seasoned just right, layered with sautéed mushrooms that added this deep, earthy flavor -- like comfort cooked slow. The melted cheese pulled everything together in perfect balance, and the toasted bun held its own without ever getting in the way. Every bite was messy in the best way -- the kind you have to close your eyes for and just feel. The vibe here? Pure aloha. You walk in and feel like you've been here before -- like this is where everyone goes when they just need a good meal and a moment to breathe. The staff are chill, friendly, and full of that easy local kindness that can't be faked. It's the kind of place where time slows down -- where you sit outside, taste the salt in the air, and let the flavors remind you how good life can be in its simplest form. Final Thoughts: Haleʻiwa Burgers isn't just about burgers -- it's about the feeling after the last bite. That quiet, content, "yeah, this is it" kind of happiness.
