We were given the option of sitting inside or outside. I loved the wood furniture and plants that were used throughout the restaurant. For three of us, we shared the prime rib moco and malasada pancakes. The malasada pancakes are like no other, and it's a must try at this restaurant. It has the perfect malasada texture without feeling super heavy. The prime rib loco moco was a generous portion and paired well with the sweet malasada pancakes. Service here was friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend Stonefish if you're looking for a good breakfast spot with something for everyone.

We give it a 2 star coz of the venue; nice place with very beachy ambiance being in North Shore…read more The staff are friendly and hospitable but not very attentive. We're seated at the corner and forgotten. Now, the food-DISAPPOINTING! We thought it would be authentic fish since the name stands for it! We ordered Chicken and Fish sandwiches. The plating was nice and looks appetizing but the chicken were chicken tenders or chicken stick and the fish was those ready made breaded fish from Costco (at least it looked like it). What made the good taste good was the sauce. So, I recommend if you're really hungry and you don't mind eating microwave dinner and the family needs to unload and relax coz the place is vibing and has a long bar for adults. I'm just disappointed with the food.

Same great garlic sauce on the shrimp but shrimp were smaller and not as succulent. Still good but…read morenot as good as before Still sweet garlicky buttery flavor. They give the same amount of rice. This time around, went on a Sunday in July; took over 45 min from ordering to getting the food. Difficult to get a seat. There's a sign that they didn't have the spice version available because they were short staff. However, they gave chili sauce. Finding a parking spot in the shared lot was quick; they still charge $2 to park.

First time, I wasn't impressed…read more Food: We ordered the garlic beef hot dog and and Shrimp plate and I have to say it was a disappointment. The Garlic beef hot dog is literally a hot dog with minced garlic tossed on top. They didn't dress the dog or anything. It was dry and the garlic was caked on there so much we had to scrape alot off. Definitely had better. The Shrimp plate was totally the same way but it had rice which by the way why was the rice mushy? C'mon guys we cant have mushy rice. Smh...... this was a miss all around. Service: The staff was focused on moving fast but doesn't really engage with customers. This also changes the experience of going to Giovanni. I don't know, maybe they can be a little more social with their guests especially after tossing dry hot dogs and mushy Shrimp are way. Another miss on this one. Atmosphere: This was my favirite part. The location is amazing and their are other food trucks surrounding Giovanni's so you do have other options s and honestly I would venture to the other trucks. The crepes Van is amazing. Theirs also a lot of chickens walking around so be mindful if your not a fan of free range chickens. Location: Its in the Ohau, North Shore in a small lot. Parking: Parking is tight but it moves. Its also $5 to park in the lot or you can go around the corner and park. Price: No joke for what we got this location is way over priced. Beware.

Really enjoyed the food here. We went before dinner service, so the menu was limited to appetizers,…read morebut honestly, that didn't bother us because everything we ordered was very, very good. The flavors felt much more elevated than I expected from a beachside restaurant. Everything tasted thoughtfully prepared, and it genuinely felt like there was a real chef working in the kitchen rather than just standard bar food. The service was excellent and very attentive and the indoor-outdoor seating ambience with the ocean across the street was amazing. Even with the limited menu, I would happily come back to try the dinner offerings. Definitely a great spot to stop if you're in Haleiwa and looking for something a little more elevated.

Skip the poke here! I know, I know, those are fighting words in Hawaii and probably not the opening…read moreyou expected for a four-star review. And it's not to say that I didn't like the poke bowl I had at Beach House. (I mean, what's not to love about about digging into some fresh ahi when you're literally feet away from the beach?) It's just that I had the otherworldly experience of eating from Foodland's poke bar the night prior to my lunch here and I couldn't help comparing it to the legendary Foodland. That said, the poke was still delicious and its runner-up status didn't distract from the rest of my meal. The spicy ahi wonton was a standout starter -- the shallot, scallion, tobiko, and chili aioli approach they have for the ahi here works better for the fish than their "beach house special poke sauce" in my opinion. Top it all off with a plantation iced tea: an island version of the Arnold Palmer that replaces the customary lemonade with tropical pineapple juice. We came in around 2:30 pm so we essentially had the dining room to ourselves after the lunch rush, if you don't count the cute zebra dove bird that walked around below the table halfway into our meal, trying to see if there were any stray crumbs it could peck at. Alas, we had deemed the food too good.
