I am almost always disappointed with our orders from this location. There is always something wrong with the order sometimes small but it's every time we order. One time I ordered a tuna wrap with a side pickle they put pickles on my wrap. Pickle juice and tuna is not a combo I like. We ordered mild wings which according to their website are fried to a crisp with no mention of sauce and received hot wings in a spicy sauce. I called to request they fix my order and was told to request a refund from doordash when we picked the order up from the store. We ordered mozzarella sticks and there was no marinara or any other sauce. I work for a medical practice and our orders are usally $200+ and we order lucnhes everyday. i truly wish I could give zero stars. I have already contacted the corporate office but wanted to leave a review for this location. Never in my life have I been treated with more disrespect then I have today speaking with the "assistant manager". I initially called in to complain about an order we placed on DoorDash. We got two half subs, opened them up and there was one piece of turkey and one piece of roast beef on the entire sandwich. Piled with lettuce, and so much bread. I called the store to let them know of my concern and I was told "it's not my problem" and proceed to then laugh at me with the other male employee. I told him I was recording the conversation and I have a picture of the food to prove what I am saying and he then told me I was lying that they weigh the meat before putting it on the sandwiches. I asked him for his name so I could call back tomorrow when the owner was in and let him know who I spoke with and my issue and he told me "good luck with that I ain't givin you no name". Number one... to speak to someone who was a customer like this is disrespectful but number two, to then give them an attitude about their concern and laugh in the background with the other employee is absolutely horrendous and we will never be returning here. I will also be contacting the town letting them know how disrespectful I was treated today in this store, and from the other reviews it doesn't seem like many people will disagree with what I am saying. read more

On August 1st, I gave them a bad review because I was not happy with my steak sandwich, I did not know that I should have stated what kind of bread I wanted my sandwich on. But because I was disappointed I gave a bad review. Today I give Mr. Subs five stars because the GM took the time to explain that I had a choice of steak rolls and that they had been using seeded rolls for about a year. I got a cheesesteak from here today and it was awful. The meat was somewhat warm, but the cheese was so cold. How do you make a cheesesteak and don't put the cheese on the cooking steak? Been dying for a Hot Pastrami lately and gave this place a try today. Clean shop, friendly staff. Took a little for my 2 sandwiches and fries to be made, but nothing to complain about. Toasted bread, thin sliced pastrami, very good pickles, good spicy mustard. Next time I'll order with an extra slice of Swiss cheese. Fries are just the way I like them cooked. This place was attended given a deal they have on Sunday. When 2 subs are ordered, the 3rd one is free. 6 subs were tried and are listed below. All of the cold subs are served with lettuce, tomato, onions, salt, pepper, and oregano. They were also all 16''. They were able to put other condiments on the side such as spicy brown mustard, mayonnaise, and oil and vinegar. The subs were ready upon arrival. Cheesesteak - This was a good tasting original cheesesteak. The beef was tender while the bread was not too hard or soft. Chicken Cheesesteak - This was probably my favorite tasting sub of the day. It had a great balance of toppings that included peppers and onions. Roast Beef and American Cheese - This was a cold roast beef sandwich, which was another delight. There was just not enough cheese present on this particular sandwich. Oven Roasted Turkey and Cheese - Again, there was not enough cheese present. The turkey was solid, but overall, the sub was a little plain. Salami, Bologna, and Cheese - My first time trying this combination on a sub and I liked what I tasted. Came here for Elite Week to redeem my half sub order. I was greeted by a friendly employee, who cheerfully gave me suggestions on which sandwich to order. Getting my sandwich from start to finish was fast and easy. The decor is minimalistic, with a handful of chairs and benches and a no frills menu. There are plenty of chips, beverages, and fresh salads dispersed throughout the shop. My half oven gold turkey with everything on it was all right. The bread was addictively chewy and fresh, leaving me with a great mouthfeel after each bite. The turkey was in between wet and dry, and mainly condensed into a sheet of turkey when bitten into. The oregano, pepper, salt, oil & vinegar, lettuce, and tomato were sadly missing from my taste buds. Overall, the food is okay, but the service is great. Thank you to Sara and Mr Subs for the Elite Event. I was able to experience the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was not overall hot. The heat was mild and the chicken was dry. I would like to comment on how neat my sandwich was put together. The bread was also very fresh. We sat there and enjoyed half of my sandwich, it was bigger than I thought. But so worth the drive. This was my first experience in a Mr. Subs. Glad it was so satisfying. I would share my experience with friends and send them to this location. That turkey sub is not what their subs look like I got a half turkey and there were 6 very very thin slices . I had to add extra meat from my frig . 3 different times My son or I have been there and asked for no onions because of an allergy and all times they put onions . Yes maybe we should have payed attention because of the allergy, we were sent to the register to pay then stand and wait out of view. This place has gone down hill . This sandwich shop is ok. Definitely better than Subway, because at least they slice their meat and cheese fresh for your sandwich. That being said, I don't think it's any better than a place like Jersey Mike's, which is kind of disappointing. The good: -Their service is top notch. Really friendly guys answering the phone and behind the counter making the sandwiches. -The bread is super soft, and they claim to bake them locally from their partnered bakery. -You get to choose between white or whole wheat for no extra charge. -Their whole subs are also 16 inches long. Not too shabby... What could be improved: -The amount of meat they put on their sandwich pales in comparison to some of my favorite sandwich places around Jersey. I compared cross sectional pictures of the sandwiches side by side just to make sure it wasn't just my imagination. Sure enough, Mr. Subs only pile on about half the meat that some of the other great sandwich shops do. I think I'd be ok with a sub that was a few inches shorter if it was piled high with filling. Maybe my fat ass just got spoiled from some of these places that really pile it on, because the taste of the sandwich was still great. Says they use boars head meats and they don't. They get their deli meats from a depot. Seen it firsthand.I also have an issue with high sodium and msg in meats that will give me headaches. Specifically asked if it was board head because I know I can eat that brand. Wound up getting a headache after eating there. read more
