Every bite had that classic smash burger flavor: juicy beef, caramelized crust, and just the right balance of toppings without overcomplicating it. The fries were solid too -- hot, crispy, and the perfect sidekick to the burger. Overall the spot has a chill, no-nonsense burger joint vibe where the focus is clearly on doing smash burgers right with great service. So the ambiance is pretty straight forward, however it really stinks in here, like chitterlings, that would be my best comparison that comes to mind. The service started off cool but once I notified the cashier that she charged me for fries I didn't order, she acted like I made the mistake. The best part is, you go and pick up your food by reaching over the garbage cans. The cheese fries were 10 out of 10... A nice amount of cheese whiz, plus the fries were like the coated type of fries so they were able to withstand the Cheese and maintain their integrity throughout. The wings were an 8 out of 10, I love the crispness of the wings, and the flavor, plus the garlic Parm sauce was really good, but I just wish they would've poured the sauce on the wings directly. Nonetheless, they were really good and worth ordering again.. My Son said the burrito is an 8 out of 10. I got the triple smash, and it was kinda good, however, the OG sauce is something I could go without never having again in my life and be very happy. 7/10 The milkshakes aren't bad either. I like that they were thick yet smooth at the same time if that makes sense. Although the last quarter of My Son's shake was straight ice cream that he needed a spoon to finish. also, they use paper straws that get soggy by the time you get to the end of the shake. 5.5/10 Overall, this wasn't a bad experience. The food was definitely the savior here after the trash service and horrible smells. I can just see why everyone got their food to go. Everything here is greasy but oh so good. The smash burgers were great and had a crust on the outside of the patty that elevated the meal. Mozzarella sticks had a great cheese pull - which is always a good sign. First, parking in this part of New Brunswick is terrible, it's very limited. You will have to drive around to find a spot or suck it up and pay to park in a garage. Also, the wait for food can be pretty long, especially during busy times. You can order ahead which I would definitely suggest. That said, the burgers are delicious, they're juicy and full of flavor, and there are some unique choices on the menu. Hubby and I tried it yesterday for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich combo (I added a fried mozz cheese) with onion rings and the Nashville hot fried shrimp app. Hubby got the smash burger double with fries. Everything was freshly made to order and OMG. We were the only ones there so our food was ready very quick! All of the items were seasoned very well and so flavorful! I did also order the Mac n cheese bits but unfortunately I wasn't really feeling it. Hubby ordered the Biscoff milkshake which was tasty and creamy. It's has local burger joint feel, with an open grilling area that you can see. Graded are Chickcheetos, Smashmac, The Original (Double), Nashville Hot Honey (not pictured), Dynamite, & Lotus Biscoff Shake (not pictured). All were very good. Well balanced & messy, but in a fun way, I guess. This was a first, as I had to wait a long time for my to-go order, more about that at the end, I actually had time to low key ask other customers to grade their food. Unfortunately, the wait was long because they never processed our order. We had a number, & I sat and watched as the numbers after us came out, & then when I finally spoke to someone, I learned they never started our order. Apparently it was a printer issue, but again, the orders after ours were filled. The Woman at the counter apologized, but nothing else was offered. I came here on a rainy Wednesday evening. It wasn't any parking so I parked in the parking deck across the street. It cost me $10. I went in and I ordered a hot honey chicken sandwich, a single Smashburger (no onions), and the biscoff shake. Our food took a while to come out because they forgot our order. So we waited about 25 minutes to get our food but we got our milkshake instantly. The food was good. I thought the hot honey chicken sandwich would've been more spicy. If it had more spice, it would have been amazing. It wasn't greasy and the chicken was cooked to perfection. My only con is that the pickles were cut too thick and the sandwich wasn't spicy enough. This shop is located in the heart of New Brunswick and as result no parking. However, there is street parking across the shop. Also, a pay garage is right across the street too. The OG sauce is similar to the Big Mac sauce and they serve Pepsi products. How was the burger? It's mac and cheese with a chopped up smash burger and their special sauce. The Mac and cheese itself was extremely cheesy and creamy. The burger on top of it added a flavorful protein aspect to it and the sauce gave it some sweetness and acidity. It looks recently redone and was very clean. The business as had a veteran owned sticker on the front and that is a plus for some people. We ordered the original with a soda, a smashcheetos, biscoff shake and oreo shake. Id like to point out that they make everything fresh. There is definitely going to be a wait for the food but I rather it be hot and fresh rather than frozen and fast. Its very clear this place is very popular for both college students and family because there was a line to get in. I visited this place based on their high review and a friend wanted to go. I live 30 minutes away. This was a mistake. They don't deserve such a high review. Their Mac n Cheese was basic. Nothing special. There was an added sauce (thousand island dressing) and beef which together made it pretty good but the Mac by itself was basic and not worth ordering by itself. I also got their dynamite burger double, which was over-loaded with peppers to the point, that was all you tasted. For something to be good there should be a balance of ingredients complimenting each other. Not one over powering the others. The burger was just ok. Nothing special. I did order a shake, strawberry, and this was good. The best thing I got. Before leaving I did but a coke(Mexican) which is nice to have a real sugar alternative drink there. It was barely cold. That should have been ice cold. All in all it was just ok. I wont be coming back here as it isn't worth the 30 minutes driving, the difficulty of finding parking and the just serviceable food. I I visited this location after a show at the State Theater. I ordered a strawberry shake, mac and cheese with Cheetos, and a mild chicken sandwich with Cheetos. When the mac and cheese arrived, we noticed the Cheetos were red, indicating they were Flaming Hot Cheetos. The menu screen did not mention that these were Flaming Hot Cheetos. I mentioned that we could not accept the mac and cheese due to the spiciness. The person cooking acknowledged they were hot, but it's important to note that they can cause heartburn, which my wife, who has a heart condition, experiences. The attempt to pass them off without clarification was unnecessary. We asked for mozzarella sticks instead. The chicken sandwich was good, but the crushed hot Cheetos didn't help. I enjoyed the chicken alone; the breading and seasoning were great. The strawberry shake was also good. The mozzarella sticks, once they arrived, were freshly made with good breading. The French fries were a hit as well. However, I never received a $4 refund for ordering an item that was less expensive than the mac and cheese. Additionally, the bathrooms were not in the best condition, though the atmosphere and wall decor were pretty cool. The menu needs improvement to clearly indicate what type of Cheetos are used, as this is a significant health concern. A simple emoji or wording can fix this issue. If it had stated they were hot, I wouldn't have ordered it. Lastly, the staff's attitude did not sit well with me. There was no apology or refund offered. Just be careful when visiting. read more
