Posted this for the wrong Holy chuck location ... so reposting it for the right one. Tried this place a couple of weeks ago after people have raved about it. Not sure what they are going on about. Decor looked like it was from the 50s. Maybe that's what they were going for... The menu is too large. It took me 10 minutes to go through every item. They need a simplified menu for god sakes. That thing was a headache to navigate. At the end I was more confused about what I wanted before I came in. Tried the you fat pig. It was sloppy built and presented. I got it to go and it tasted very undercooked and just plain nasty. It was supposed to have bacon patty but the thing was not properly assembled. It was falling apart. It wasn't a patty! No cheese or bacon was in there. The bun was soggy and moist. I was running late and chucked the entire thing after two bites. It tasted nasty. The fries were good. Sorry chuck, I wasn't too impressed. You need to bring up your game in the kitchen. Lastly, I highly recommend you have your staff take food handler's course. No one was hand washing before handling food. If you touch a foreign object wash your hands. If you pick something up from the ground and put it away... wash your hands! read more

I love this place, take out or dine in. Obsessed with the Mad Cow burger. Burgers are good, sides are big enough to share with someone. Prices are a little steep, but I'm not there everyday and having it once and a while doesn't really break the bank. I ate in only once, liked the atmosphere and the lady at the counter was super nice. read more

My husband and I got two very GREASY burgers! If you are looking for clogged arteries, this would definitely be the place. No one is expecting a healthy meal from this restaurant, however, the grease was extremely excessive. read more

Didn't have to wait long as others have mentioned, just a few minutes. Just not worth the money, I had the Raging Bull as I like spicy, it was nicely hot, however they put way too much chipotle sauce on it and when I opened it up (I had take out) the sauce was all over the bun making it messier than it had to be. My wife had the Holy Chuck, the menu says not to add toppings,.... it needed toppings. We both liked the fries, didn't mind the green stuff that was on them. I have 2 really big issues with Holy Chuck; 1)With tax, $29 for 2 burgers and 1 fries (no drink) and 2) The saltiest burger (maybe any food) I ever had, bar none! The food is good but crazy salty and crazy expensive, I would say I would go back but spending $20 for a burger combo and the high dose of sodium tells me I will probably not. Best burgers i have ever tried in my entire life. I am a huge burger fanatic and its hard to find a burger thats as good as homemade, but this burger palace has a variety of options like an all bacon patty! Just sooo much selections to choose from and the burgers are incredible. What i really liked about the place was that you coild order ur beef medium rare . Its greesy but its sooooooo good. Location in Toronto much better then the one in Woodbridge. The one in Woodbridge payed 17.00 for a burger and its was so full of oil that the bun was mush. It's was a mess. Spoke with Johnny the owner who said would look into it. He told me to go back and the will do it right the next time. I don't think so not going to pay 17.00 for a burger that turns out the way it did. read more

Had a Holy Chuck really didnt see anything different then what I except at any burger joint. The milkshakes TERRIBLE! But the service was good the food okay. Nothing special here. Maybe go back out of boredom. read more

The reviews of this place were so promising and I was really looking forward to trying it. The flavour of the burger was good but it was so overwhelmingly greasy that all you could taste was grease - I didn't enjoy it at all. I also had dessert that was dry and unexciting. This place stinks! First of all it's way to greasy, their food has more grease than mcdonalds and Burger King combined. Secondly it's way too over priced for the pitiful amounts of food you get. Lastly the meat on the burgers has no taste it's all in the toppings and it's a place that prides themselves on their meat. Plus the staff are all way to busy dicking around with each other in the back. Don't go here. read more

Yeah, I can't say it was great. I was really looking forward to it, having read previous reviews on their other location. The wait time was very long, mind you it's cooked to order. Can I say it was great? no, I've had better, the meat was extremely greasy! and the actual burger meat? not tasty. Will I go again? nah, had much better tasting burgers elsewhere. read more

I was there at 1:00 p.m. and asked the cashier if they had veggie burgers, she said yes and order one. When I got my order it was anything but a veggy burger, apparently they fill some kind of crust looking pocket with feta cheese and mushrooms and fry it, it was horrible looking and greasy, hard as a rock, tall enough that you need a fox's mouth to eat it, I went back to complained and the manager gave me such a hard time that another customer had to intervene and told him that was not way to treat a customer. Getting my $12.41(included a bottle of water) was totally out of the question so I had to settle for a bun with tomatoes and lettuce and some regular fries. Tell me if that is not highway robbery? Got the double patty with bacon, "raging bull". The bun was more like a kiddy bun too small for the burger, and got soggy. Was smothered in BBQ sauce falling apart and out of the bun, a complete mess. It was more like pulled pork on an undersized bun. Meal was served with shoe string fries, garbage. Paid $22, complete rip off I will never eat there again. Don't waste your money! Go down the street to five guys. Better yet Harvey's angus or McDonald's angus will top their over priced food. Ordered the cheddar cheese, bacon and egg burger. It was pretty good, wouldn't say out of the world though. I won't be ordering another one though it was quite expensive even for a single patty burger. If you order a single patty burger you save a dollar.... THAT'S IT! order wisely my friend. read more

Burgers are messy , almost all options include cheese, nothing healthy about it and if someone has to wait more than 5 minutes at a cash register at a fast food burger joint then they need a lesson in customer service and running a business. Burgers are just ok. They have some cool menu options though like Nutella fries... Yum!

WORST burgers we've ever had - family of 4 - 4 burgers, 2 orders of fries and Poutine $58 worth of garbage!!! We all had the same opinion, could not eat the burgers over saturated in mayo (are they trying to give us a heart attacK!!) with soggy bread and funky tasting fries - I don't think the oil has been changed since they opened. This place is amazing. The creator is a burger genius, plain and simple. Everything on the menu is delicious and creatively put together to appeal to anyone. Not only that but when I went to order another milkshake because they are freaking awesome, the owner was in the back cooking which you don't see very often in large establishments or chains. You can tell he really loves what he is doing which in my opinion, makes supporting a business a little bit tastier. The vegetarian burger is fabulous! read more

Holy Chuck...Holy C&!#@%. My daughter and I had the funnel cake and went it to full on explosive diarrhea mode about half an hour later. Either the food is as gross as it looks (a fact you ignore because you think for the hefty price you coughed up you must be getting decent quality stuff....wrong!) or the staff prank customers by spiking their ice-cream with laxative.
