After seeing their special summer menu, we had to check it out!!!!!! It's kinda tucked into a commercial area but we went on a Saturday and lot parking was empty! The place is super cute and clean. Lots of seating. The guy working greeted us and took his time answering our questions. We decided on: Banana Cloud Matcha - not super sweet but the banana cloud is delightful Raspberry Cloud Latte - the raspberry cloud is yummy!!!! Strawberry Lemonade - my youngest loved it! The perfect amount of sweetness with the lemonade Almond croissant - (see picture) it's LOADED with almonds!!!! Just wish it was bigger!!!

    Welcome to HOLY COFFEE.
    Carl N.

Holy Coffee is a small cozy café nestled in North Highlands, CA offering a selection of coffee drinks and light pastry as well as merch. And the best part was it's part of a church. Interior layout was very spacious with modern minimalist designs. Their menu drinks (coffee and teas) were modest and basic. Outdoor seats were on existent. However, their indoor atmosphere were relaxing with good christian holy music playing ok the background. I must say this was the first Christian coffee shop I have ever visited. I was greeted by a young melancholic Eastern European female staff. I had the Iced Flash Brew. And it was just okay. Prices were above the market pricing. Service was utterly banal. But it's a holy place so I restrained myself and went for a prayer. Merch was bloody expensive ($35/Jesus shirt). I'd say it's for the birds! Parking was easy given they're in a large lot. Overall, it's an okay coffee shop with a holy vibe.

Cute place! I've tried their pastries but the prices are amazing! Service is great. Drinks are good! Want to see their menu updates!!

Came for the cute pumpkin decor at the front entrance and stayed for the delicious pumpkin spice latte. More pumpkin than spice forward, which I appreciate. A great place to study or work since there is a refillable water station. Family friendly too with a baby changing table in the women's restroom. As a new mom, this is very important detail for people with little ones.

"Rose Raf" - espresso, rose, half & half, pear, and beetroot powder

If you're looking for a true hidden gem and hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that is off the beaten path, look no further because "Holy Coffee" will have you covered. Located in a very industrial part of North Highlands surrounded by various office buildings, the easiest way to find this place is by going north on Watt Ave, turning left on Winona Way, and make your first immediate right into the business park. I actually ended up coming here during the afternoon of Saturday 3/8/25 at around 4:30pm. No matter what time of day you arrive, parking is readily available. Normal business hours are Mon/Tue 7:30am-6pm, Wed-Fri 7:30am-10pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, and closed on Sunday. To many of you coffee lovers, this was once the space where "Common Coffee" once stood before this place took over. Much of the interior decor has remained unchanged but the seating area (with hand-carved tables) was brought in and truly flows well with the aesthetic layout. This is also an excellent place to work, study, socialize with friends, or just a spot to get that caffeine fix. The reason for the business name being called Holy Coffee is because this place is adjacent to United Church of Sacramento. Even though the coffee shop is closed on Sundays, the church operates on Sundays at noon as well as Tue/Wed evening services. It is very similar to a coffee shop I went to in Memphis, TN (called "The Hub") that is a striking resemblance to this. During my visit, I ended up going with their "Rose Raf" drink. This is a hot beverage that is infused with espresso, rose, half & half, pear, and beetroot powder. The menu itself is quite limited but does include both hot and iced espresso beverages as well as matcha and a strawberry-lemonade refresher. They also carry a small assortment of pastries including croissants, cinnamon rolls, and over savory treats to pair up with your drink. Overall, my Rose Raf drink was the perfect balance of sweet & bitter. Definitely a winner if you're not looking for anything overbearingly strong. The ambiance and environment that is presented here gives you that feeling as if you're in a very quite oasis type atmosphere. All in all, I am giving "Holy Coffee" an above average four-star rating. It is in a very quiet area away from the busy hustle and bustle areas of Sacramento.

This coffee shop took over the previous one called Common Coffee. No idea if they were related in any way but it still has the same quiet ambiance as before! It's tucked away in a shopping center so it's very quiet and not too crowded, making it the perfect spot for studying or working. Pricing is pretty average compared to other small business coffee shops. We were able to get oatmilk for both of our drinks. I wish the matcha had an option to do strawberry or some kind of sweetener! It tasted more like the oatmilk than the matcha. Otherwise both drinks were not bad! I was also hoping to grab a pastry for our kids that I had seen on their Instagram or Yelp page but didn't see any when we came. The menu is very simple, so I don't think there's anything pushing me to drive all the way back again. But they just opened up so I'm hoping they'll add some seasonal or specialty drinks so that I can come back to try more!

The bumble coffee- espresso with orange juice

A small coffee shop tucked into an industrial building area. The store is set up in a very asthetically pleasing way and lots of spots to take selfies. Also, there are lots of good table spaces to study or catch up with friends. They have soft chrsitian instrumentals playing in the background. The staff was kind and gave me the confidence to try a different drink that I've never tried before. I tried the bumble coffee, which was orange juice with espresso. It was definitely different from what I'm used to. The coffee with the orange juice makes the coffee taste chocolately. It's definitely an acquired taste. But the espresso tasted dark bold and smooth. I would definitely be back to try a latte or a matcha drink.

A small hidden coffee shop connected to a church in a location with lots of commercial offices and businesses. Lots of parking. Great place for reading a book, studying, catching up with a friend or just enjoy a cup of coffee. They Had nice joyful music playing. Ordered a vanilla expresso with milk and a hazelnut latte. Also ordered an almond croissant and chewy chocolate cookie with walnuts. They were both fresh & great tasting. Small variety of Pastries sold. Barista was very friendly and explained all options of drinks and syrups made in-house they had available..

I asked if dogs are welcomed and they said yes, friendly dogs are welcomed :) love that! First time here, my boyfriend got their cold brew with splash of oat milk and it was really good. I got their seasonal matcha drink (banana) and it was so yummy! Wish this was a permanent drink. Will be coming back for sure :)

Cute little coffee shop tucked away in an industrial complex. The blend of coffee used for my latte tasted amazing. The decor inside is full of modern tree trunk tables perfect height for laptop work. The service was incredible everyone was so friendly and I came only on the second day after their launch! Definitely will come for a quiet place to work with a great cup of coffee or tea.

Its a nice hole in wall in the north highlands area. We were looking for a place thats closing at a later time and we found this one. My honest opinion is there is nothing special with their menu, just wish they can have more selection. Clean bathrooms and they have diaper caddy too! Service is quiet fast and the young lady at the counter / barista was very nice too. More power!

    Espresso 4 shot latte!!

Great coffee. Food looks great. Calm atmosphere. Great decor. Very kind service. This is a great place to unwind and relax. I would recommend this 10 stars if I could.

The owner was so nice and super detailed with the selection of drinks, definitely drinks there that I haven't seen or tried before which I love the variety! The ambiance was so nice, super clean, soft calm vibes. I got a matcha with banana cloud foam (I believe that's what it's called) it was delicious and not super sweet thankfully, definitely a quality matcha with a perfect touch of banana. Coming back to try the raspberry matcha. Such a great experience!

Hidden gem energy with a sandwich that almost spiritually attacked me…read more I genuinely was not expecting one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in a doctor's office building, but here we are. Roast & Grinds is tucked inside one of those professional medical office suites near the IVF facilities, and honestly? It's such a clean, cute setup that it immediately caught me off guard in the best way. The location feels polished, calm, and super professional without feeling cold or sterile. My husband actually found this place after specifically hunting for a good sandwich spot, and thank God he did because this sandwich changed the trajectory of my afternoon. The two girls working there were incredibly nice from the moment we walked in. I asked for a sample of the pastrami before committing, and instead of acting annoyed like some places do, they happily gave me one. The second I tasted it, I already knew I was done for. Then they heated the sandwich up fresh and absolutely put their foot in it. Now let's discuss the real plot twist here: the pepperoncinis. WHAT are they feeding those things?! Those were the hottest pepperoncinis I have ever had in my life, and somehow it made the sandwich even better. It was the kind of spicy where you pause mid-bite and reconsider your decisions... and then immediately go back for another bite anyway. "Hurts so good" is honestly the only way to describe it. Everything tasted fresh, the bread held up perfectly, and the whole experience felt surprisingly elevated for a tucked-away little café inside a business suite. Also, small detail that I personally appreciated: being connected near medical and wellness offices while still serving genuinely fresh, satisfying food just makes sense. It feels intentional instead of greasy or slapped together. Parking was easy, the entrance was simple to find right on the corner, and the whole experience was smooth from beginning to end. Only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want to try more of the menu before I fully marry myself to this place emotionally. But trust me: I will absolutely be back for that pastrami sandwich and those violently delicious pepperoncinis.

I've been coming to Estelle's Bakery & Patisserie for years since I used to live only a block away,…read moreso it became one of my favorite places to walk to for tea and desserts. I've since moved out of state, but during my last visit in January this year, the treats and drinks were just as delicious as I remembered. This was always one of my favorite spots to spend a few hours catching up with girlfriends over tea and pastries. The ambience is lovely and gives off fancy tea party vibes, making it perfect for casual conversations, book discussions, or just relaxing with something sweet. My personal favorites are the rose macaron and the mont blanc desserts. If I'm feeling hungry, I usually order the ratatouille, and the vanilla bean French toast is amazing when I want something sweet but filling. Matcha is always my go-to drink here too (though it's on the sweet side, so I don't think it's ceremonial grade). I remember my first visit; It was when I stopped by later in the day looking for a birthday cake for my son's 8th birthday about five years ago. I ended up choosing their chocolate mousse cake on a whim since it was one of the cakes they still had on display, and it turned out to be a good decision. My son loved it, but it was too chocolatey for me so he ended up having most of the cake. Still one of the memories I remember most from here. It was something I kept in mind that if I wanted more options and variety, I should arrive earlier in the day. There are a few downsides that keep this from being a full 5 stars for me though. The parking lot is very small and street parking can be difficult, especially during busy hours. The place gets crowded very easily, which is why I usually preferred walking there when I lived nearby. There's often a guard stationed at the front kindly holding the door open, though I imagine that's also due to the neighborhood. Pricing is definitely on the expensive side, but honestly that's fairly expected with a patisserie. My biggest issue is that service can noticeably decline when they're overwhelmed. Depending on when you visit, the line can get absurdly long (almost out the front door), and I've experienced slower service and even had my drink mixed up with another customer's order once. Since I order oat milk due to lactose intolerance, getting the order correct is pretty important. Thankfully, when the bakery isn't overly busy and adequately staffed, the employees are attentive, friendly, and very helpful with the ordering process if you have questions. It is still one of the Sacramento bakeries I miss after moving away. It was so lovely to have a bakery down the street from home.
