I love that this boba place is open late!! It closes 11pm or 12am. I came close to 10pm and the boba tasted so fresh and delicious! Not too sweet but very soft. Order/prices listed in the pic. It seems like a sweet little family owned business with really kind staff. I was the only one there and the order was ready in just under 10 min. All drinks are the same size which is unfortunate because the kids only wanted a small so more than half the drink went to waste. They have some fun gotcha machines and a claw machine for entertainment inside and plenty of varying seating, dim lighting, plenty of board games, and food/drinks! I went here with my girlfriend and we had a really good time here! The ambiance was very chill and there was r&b pop and tending music playing. They also had a booths to side down and chat and also play board games which they provided. Unfortunately a lot of the board games were not playable and there was a lot of mixed pieces in each board game box and it took a while to sort everything out to play one. This review is solely based off of two delivery orders. I have not gone into the actual establishment, so I have no review of the service or cleanliness or anything of the actual store. My husband and I are trying milk tea/Boba from all the different stores in the area. We have tried One Milk Tea on two occasions and both times have been underwhelmed. The Boba is regularly undercooked, it's a bit hard in the middle. The drinks don't really have much flavor, we have gotten the brown sugar black milk tea and the coffee milk tea. Don't miss this place off of Auburn! It's in a small plaza, so you can easily drive by it, especially at night because the sign is not light up! TLDR: good boba and area to study late at night! I've been to my share of Boba/Milk Tea shops in the greater Sacramento area as well as the San Francisco Bay Area. Considering that both metropolitan areas are saturated with these types of businesses, it can be challenging to separate the good places to the great places. I will say that "One Milk Tea" is one of the better spots that I've been to. Located directly on Auburn Blvd and parallel to Orange Grove Ave, this place is only minutes from American River College and has been in operation since late-2019. As far as the interior layout of this place, this is a very sizable business with generous seating area. I almost consider this to be two places in one. You have the main ordering area complete with two large video boards displaying the menu. And the seating area offers black vinyl booths with black tables and a TV with an actual video game console area. It creates that dark vibe which I feel is quite interesting nonetheless. It is a great place for reading or studying since the Wi-Fi speeds are quite fast here. As for their menu, their havens dozens of customizable drink options to choose from. Everything that ranges from popular milk teas, brown sugar teas, fruit teas, black teas, smoothies, coffee beverages, and carbonated fizz drinks. They even carry a few nice food options including mozzarella cheese sticks, jalapeño poppers, fries, egg rolls, and Takoyoki (a type of deep-fried wheat flour-snack) rolled into a ball shape and covered in sauce. Since this was my first time, I ended up going with their their "Roasted Oolong Milk Tea" in which case I ordered it with 25% sweetness and just a hint of ice. My significant other went with their "Tiramisu Smoothie" set at 50% sweetness. We both declined the Boba tapioca balls since I wanted a more liquified taste to it. Both of our orders were ready in around 5 minutes. As far as the overall taste, I was quite impressed that mine wasn't too sweet as the oolong tea leaves gave this a nice smoky flavor. I also had a few sips of her Tiramisu smoothie as this was delicious but a bit on the sweeter side. I will say that "One Milk Tea - Sacramento" is definitely one of the better places if you're looking for authentic milk tea/Boba. I will say that they do have very generous hours of operation (opening as early as noon on most days and closing as late as 11:00pm). And if you can't make it to this location, there are also two locations in Roseville, one in Elk Grove, two in Oakland, and one in Fremont. Finally, they do offer DoorDash deliveries on those days you can't leave your home or work. With that said and done, I am giving this place a unanimous five star rating. read more

What can I say! I love this place. I came in here on a Wednesday with a bestie to have a boba and play a board game, then I took my kids on the following Monday for the same experience! For beverages, they have medium or light ice options, different sweetness options, and can customize anything just about anyway you want. I saw they carry boozie boba too - looks so interesting and tasty. They have comfy booths to sit at - the ambiance is awesome - twinkle lights and it is painted all black. It feels intimate. There is 2000's - current music that plays in the back ground. They have several board games (some are falling apart but many can be played still), an xbox that I guess anyone can play?!, people bring their own media to video game on solo or in groups, or go there to hide out and study. I didn't get a chance to try one this time, but I had the Tokyo tea in its Oakland Chinatown location before. New items were added as well - I got the coffee milk tea. Wow, the coffee was intense! Clean and organized shop with a large menu, plenty of space to sit/stand around, board games and even a (don't k-ll me, a play station??), and chill employees. The only thing I don't like is the dead sign outside their shop, I had difficulty trying to find the right spot to pull up to when I first tried to drive here and thought Maps led me to another dead address again when I accidentally drove right past it thinking it was just another dead area. Without a lit up sign, it's like this shop isn't even visible. The drinks here (well, I've only tried two so far) are pretty good but I noticed the Passionfruit flavored tea tastes more lemon-y here compared to the Roseville location. The employee told me that it's supposed to be called the Super Fruit Tea with plenty of other fruits included in the drink when I told him I got a Passionfruit flavored tea at the Roseville location- with the exclusion of fresh fruits inside the drink (I was never told what the drink would include so I didn't exclude/add anything other than lychee jelly). The tea in Roseville only had slices of lemon while still smelling and tasting super flavorful but it wasn't the same here with both taste and scent even though it was the same drink, so I'm not sure which one is right/wrong. I mainly order fruit teas to save myself from a stomachache that I would get from milk teas so the confusion and inconsistency kinda sucks since I was so down to keep it as a favorite but I can live without it. My second time visiting, I got the Watermelon Fruit Tea as recommended and while I slightly do not enjoy the true flavor of watermelon, this did live up to its name and description from the employee who recommended it.
