They are secretly hiding a gourmet kitchen in there. I only came for coffee, but the food envy was real the second I saw the dishes on the other tables. I ended up ordering the steak and eggs with an iced herbal tea. And what can I say? SO. GOOD. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the culinary mashup of kimchi and chimichurri was immaculate. I loved it so much I literally couldn't leave without buying a second order to-go for my mom. Yes, THAT good. This is a must-visit if you're in Sacramento. Super cute coffee house! Busy and alive for a random Wednesday morning. I found it through maps search for nearest coffee since I was out here as a visitor.. I didn't want chain coffee today. The Graham coffee w oat milk ... super yummy. The breakfast options were plentiful and creative. After minutes of deliberation... I settled on Chicken Sisig rice bowl. This is much more than a rice bowl! The flavors all popped in my mouth like a song. Not to mention the " made to order" temperature of my dish. I especially appreciated the smiles of the staff. I was greeted with a smile by who looked like she would be the owner. (Her quirky style and sweet but 'bout it demeanor is why I say that) The chef emerged from behind the half curtain with a smile and a look of pride for the dish he was presenting. The avocado toast was really good and crispy. And I love how you guys put the arugula & the sunny side egg and feta on the avocado toast. What a great spin on avocado toast. The Ube French toast was so delicious. Unlike any French toast we've ever had. It was so sweet and I'm a really big fan of Ube. Despite the lines the service was fast. Finally got around to trying this well-known coffee spot and was pretty impressed with the menu. I ordered the 1987 and really liked the sweet + salty combo. I also couldn't resist the "gluten-free churro mochi" when I saw it on display. I was expecting something chewy with a cinnamon churro flavor and a bit of crunch, but it was kind of a letdown in both taste and texture. Grateful for my Ohana in Sacramento. They know my love for food but more so small hole in the wall spots. 18 Grams Coffee Roasters no secret to the locals. We were lucky one person left after we ordered cause no place to sit. Main reason came my cousin telling me need to get Hong Kong French Toast. Different and never had before. The biggest difference is French Toast deep fried. So crispy outside but moist and has characteristic of typical French Toast. The thing made it all come together for me. The sauce combine with Ube butter. Honest thought was ice cream. lol. The fresh fruit perfect balance. The portion size if insane. Carb overload. I also got couple cookies. Have display of fresh baked goods. Variety little of everything. Cookies were da bomb. I had matcha drink that was tasty. The drink menu has nice diversity. Just wish had one in Vegas. I was craving an early breakfast prior to heading to an office meeting and saw this establishment was open at 7AM. Strange thing is I've lived in the area for over 5 years and never swung by here until after moving out of the city. I regret not visiting sooner. Doh! Upon arrival I was told they didn't serve breakfast until 8AM. Having a lot of time to kill, I ordered a mocha. They brewed the drink quickly and it was very delicious. Plenty of seating and welcoming decor. As 8AM approached, I ordered their loco moco. I'll admit, it was an interesting take on the loco moco, combining kimchi to add a little spice to it. I personally felt the gravy was a tad bit sweet, not to my liking. But overall the experience and service itself justified a 5 star rating. I really enjoyed their coffee and will be returning back from now on when I make quarterly trips to the office. I'll also give the other menu items a shot as well! read more

My first new restaurant of 2026 and this place didn't disappoint! the vibes and decoration within the place were great, definitely reminiscent of the Bay Area (despite being in Sacramento). We stopped by here for brunch on a Sunday with some friends and was able to find a table with minimal issue. I love that you can either order at the coffee bar for quick service and/or to go orders or just sit and order from a QR code and have the food delivered directly to you. The service was fairly fast, despite it being Sunday brunch time and the food was great. I ordered the steak and fried rice, which was maybe slightly a little too marinated, but clearly flavorful! I even had a little meat left over to take to go. As for the drink, I got the Vietnamese hazelnut, upon the recommendation of my friend. And the drink didn't disappoint! Overall, a great spot! I would definitely come here again and it feels like a great spot to work on your computer for a couple hours and great a nice lunch or coffee. read more

Tried here on a monday morning to have some good breakfast and didn't disappoint. I like the place, very nice and cozy feeling, lots of space and very quiet. Love all their breakfast because i can taste the scallions on it which i really like. Their mocha is to die for! One of my favorite mocha coffee i've tried in Sac. The cappuccino comes in a very small cup and kinda expensive for a small portion of coffee. The iced coffee has lots of ice and i drank only maybe 4-5 sips of it so hoping they improve this one. This was my first time coming here for coffee and I was definitely impressed just with my first few steps through the door. It felt super spacious inside while also being very clean and organized. There was a lot of table space and seating that I noticed as well while walking in and people were definitely making use of it. I ordered an Ube Latte; there were a lot of drinks that I was interested in, so I'll definitely be back to try them out! My drink was good; it didn't feel excessively strong and helped me get through my work for the day. It did settle quite a bit on my drive home, so I was getting a bit more of this powdery texture at the bottom even after mixing. I do think it was on me for not drinking it right away, so I'll still give it another shot. I do want to do some work here just because there's a lot of natural lighting and it seems like a good environment to really focus on work. On Mondays, the place does close at 2pm, but on other days it closes at 5pm. Staff is very friendly and there's a vast amount of parking outside. If you get hungry during your time there, you can order from their food menu or just venture outside to the surrounding plaza. It's situated right in between Kura and Bonchon which are two great spots in my opinion! read more

When I'm in the Arden area I love stopping here for a quick coffee. There's plenty of parking in the shopping plaza and a lot of stores and other restaurants to spend time at- even a movie theater. The cafe itself is open, bright, and welcoming. I love the mural on the wall and the different seating options allow for all types of groups and experiences- from a quick coffee, to a study session, date, or group outing. The staff is always friendly and I love the variety of drinks and food. Speaking of food, it's delicious! I tend to order their savory menu items and they're always served hot and freshly made. I try to order different drinks to explore the menu, but I always come back to the 1987. It has the perfect sweetness and is a great pick me up for the day. During the warmer months they have outdoor seating and you'll want to check out their social media for specials. They have really stepped it up with their food as well. Their pastries and cookies have always been amazing and their breakfast items are just as good. My favorite is the breakfast sando and the Hong Kong French toast. It's a great place to stop by either before or after you do some shopping in the area. Coming from the LA and SF coffee scene, I really enjoyed my Ube Latte from 18 grams. While it is on the sweeter/dessert coffee end with the addition of condensed milk, it is not overly sweet and the ube flavors tastes natural and strong. Always love the interior design for all 18grams! This location has lots of seating and tables, even extra seating outside as well. I like that you can either order at the kiosk thing by the door if you're not feeling very social, or at the front cash register. I've been randomly craving a BLT lately and I was so happy to see they had it on their menu, so that's what I ordered. It was so delicious and definitely satisfied my cravings. The sourdough bread was a bit too greasy for my liking but overall everything else was great. I loved the aioli sauce that they used. The only thing missing was some fries! read more

The graham latte gave me a good caffeine boost though not as sweet as I typically like for this sort of drink -since it wasn't so sweet it paired great with the Gochujang Caramel Cookie! It was absolutely to die for. I would go back just for the cookie! It's buttery, sweet, nutty, and perfect! If you like moist and soft and a little doughy, definitely try. The place is so quaint and trendy with a good vibe. I liked that they gave out cards for their guests with cultural significance as a gift. Super happy with the coffee here. I got a less sweet / half caff Vietnamese iced coffee (and added some cold foam) and it was perfect! Not too sweet, a solid, not too nutty coffee flavor. My friend's ube latte was also well flavored and a perfect mixture of the bitter and sweet. She said she tasted a bit of saltiness, which I didn't get too much of - but worth noting. They had pandan coconut cookies, ube cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. They also had different ube & other flavored muffins (even a gochujang & sesame one!) and I tried the mochi churro one. It was gluten free and perfectly chewy because of the rice flour and a perfect amount of sweetness! I highly recommend this place. A pretty moderate amount of seating in a cute shopping mall area. Came here for the first time in June and food was so good I couldn't wait to visit sac again to stop here. Came back in August and something was off. The breakfast Sando was good as usual, but the breakfast potatoes were totally different. Before they had some sort of yummy coating - maybe Parmesan and they were fried to perfection. This time they were just regular potatoes, absolutely nothing special. I had a Mexican mocha and my daughter had the matcha and both were just ok. Maybe it was an off day for them. We also got the skillet and it was good. I asked one of the girls if they changed some things and she said "she didn't know"....nice. I got excited just walking in here..local roasting, artisanal baristas, pastries and baked goods made in the back! Tried out a new coffee spot here at 18 Grams. Ordered a simple Cold Brew. It was pretty smooth and tasted a little more earthy than other coffee shops. I would have preferred a little less ice with this type of ice, but overall the drink was nice and refreshing. I visited a little after opening and it wasn't as busy as I expected. There's a good amount of seating, ranging from standard height, high chairs/tables, and cushioned chairs in the middle of the shop. The table I chose was a little dirty with crumbs and wrappers from previous customers I assume but it wasn't an issue as it was easily cleaned up and thrown away before I actually sat down. The dirty chai had great flavor without being too milky, and the muffin with fluffy and not dry. The next time I came I got another dirty chai since it was good last time and their lox bagel. Really liked the lox, tasted fresh and felt buttery. I would've preferred if it was open faced but was still good. This place is super cute on the inside with lots of seating inside and out. Props for the chunky ube but the flavor was off and lacking. The pandan muffin's texture and taste was so disappointing. I saw that others ordered lunch plates and thought I'd try their waffle fries. Glad I didn't give up- waffle fries and the 2 dip options were delish! Service was meh - I shared my excitement with cashier about their filipino pasty options and she looked at me with a straight face and didn't respond, other than "what can I get you?" Added oat milk to my cold brew and that was a good idea! I got the caramel sea salt cold brew with cold foam on top. I really would love to give this place a 5 star, based on my first experience, but came back a few days later and food was not at all the same. I ordered the Hot Karaage sandwich and came back again for it -received fried chicken, scrambled egg on white bread, no sauce or other toppings. If I didn't drive all the way home in the rain before opening I would have asked to fix. Giving 3 Stars, food isn't consistent each time. We decided to go here bec of their menu. This place is one of the order food and then find a table which sometimes is preferred for us. There were a few folks in line when we got there but the person on the register was quick and friendly. We got the ube latte, lavender latte, loco moco, sausage sandwich and a few pastries. Everything we ordered is delicious and tasty!! The gravy for the loco moco was so good. The patty was delicious. The ube latte tasted authentic and def one of the best ones I've tried so far.
