Came here this weekend with my little grumpy old grandma and the staff was wonderful. We ordered 2 chocolate muffins to go, as well and croissants, an Americano coffee for her and I ordered the strawberry matcha. Drinks were good, the food stood out here!! I love that this spot is right by me! It's such a cute little hole-in-the-wall spot, and the ambiance is super inviting and cozy. Their menu is pretty large, and I love that they offer seasonal items too. So far, I've tried the banana latte and the Biscoff latte, and both were AMAZING! They also sell their syrups at a really reasonable price, which is such a nice bonus if you want to recreate some of their drinks at home. And of course, you can't forget about the pastries! The staff are super friendly, and even when they have a larger morning crowd, they work really well together and keep everything flowing smoothly. I've had a great experience every time I've visited. This is one of my favorite coffee places in Natomas. They serve quality every time I purchase a cup. The service is always on par, and the food items have always looked fresh. My favorite food item here is the turkey and Swiss croissant with jalapeños. The coffee shop is located in a plaza by the competition ( a boba shop) but they really made it a local gem! read more

Maestro continues to be a solid choice for coffee in the Natomas area. I tend to stop in while running errands in this area. There's plenty of parking in the plaza lot and the team working here is always friendly and greets customers as they walk in. The menu is extensive, and I love that on top of the regular options they always have specialty drink options that keep things fun and fresh. There's a good amount of seating inside that works for different groups. You can stop by for a meeting, get some work done, hang out with friends or grab and go. read more

A wonderful afternoon meeting at Maestro. I am not a coffee drinker but decided to try Vietnamese coffee for the first time...and won't be my last! Jay was my "barista" who answered all my questions (lots of fun menu selections) and helped me take the plunge to try something new. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, Ms. Antronette, who is also a retired veteran. I inquired about renting the space for my business and some community events and Ms. Antronette said absolutely, let's talk about it. I enjoyed the tiramisu mocha drink i ordered. I also bought the coconut pineapple cake slice. The drink was delicious and I wished I had gotten the large cup after I was finished. The cake had good flavor but very dry. I'm not sure if it was vegan or cooked with other ingredients than traditional flour. I would need to have ice cream with it if I bought it again. There was an instance that I noticed while there and that was an employee who didn't wash their hands after handling a trash bag. Otherwise experience was not bad. read more

Came from Sacramento airport and was looking for a non chain coffee shop and this was the closest one that appeared in my Yelp search. Got the bonfire latte and it was good. It's like a homey feeling coffee shop with books to grab and read , a TV with the news playing and a long bench with outlets for laptops etc. Feels like a lot of locals come here to meet up and have deep conversations which is nice. I feel like the coffee shops I go to are pretty much for working on a laptop or grab coffee and go. The north is different! My first time trying a drink from here. I got a banana cream matcha. The person taking my order was really nice but the order was SO SWEET and I usually find matches to be a bit strong and not sweet enough so I was surprised at how sweet it was, all I could taste was sugar. I asked for it to be remade half sweet and the staff remade it and were nice about it, but I honestly couldn't tell if it was less sweet. Dissappointed :( read more

Cute local coffee stop with a big menu & seasonal specials! My coworker recommended Maestro Coffee for a quick Natomas coffee run, and I went today and took some pics including the menu & my drink. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, and it looked super smooth/creamy, great color! not watery. with a clean presentation and their cute cup sticker! What I loved about this spot is how they clearly state what drinks may have peanuts. Love seeing that communicated up front. They also have lots of food options! Stopped in while running errands nearby and ordered a watermelon kiwi lemonade along with the avocado toast. The drink was the highlight, really refreshing with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. Unfortunately, the avocado toast was disappointing. The avocado was spread very thin, similar to how you'd spread peanut butter on a sandwich, and it came on two basic slices of white bread. For $8, I expected something more substantial, like a thicker layer of avocado on a hearty slice of sourdough. The presentation also didn't do much to elevate the dish. The interior is decent, nothing particularly aesthetic but still a cute and comfortable space. Service was good, friendly cashier. Overall, while the drink was great, the food didn't meet expectations and I personally wouldn't return. read more

Rather than asking for names they just called out food which didn't work on a busy day, it was confusing. When I finally realized they forgot my food and went up to interrupt the four girls talking and laughing away there was no apology but almost an annoyance I asked. After that', they set out two different items and never stated what it was which was frustrating, they were clearly too busy having fun to be helpful. The Vietnamese coffee was not strong. I realize that everyone makes it slightly different but being strong should be a commonality among them all. The turkey croissant sandwich was bad. Right in the middle of the croissant was a single tough piece of deli meat rolled up. There were three cakes sitting out there looked good, sadly didn't try those. My friend got the iced Vietnamese coffee on a different day and said it was good so maybe that's where I went wrong. read more

I'd like to file a compliment. I have been absolutely MOVED by this establishment. I was passing through the area and wanted to add a little pizazz to my Friday coffee routine. I found Maestro after a Google Maps search, and chose to try them based on their solid reviews and uniqueness! I was not prepared for this level of pizazz!!! I ended up finding their take on my favorite coffee drink (Kerouac), and I was able to order it large - score!! It was muy, muy delicioso until the very last drop. On top of that, being very hungry and wanting breakfast, I was recommended a lovely turkey or ham croissant - and when additions were suggested, I just asked for eeeeeeverything (bacon, avocado, etc.). And guess what? That breakfast sando was eeeeeeverything!!! It blew my mind!! My neck was sore after all was said and done, because I kept shaking my head in disbelief, saying to myself things like "aww man this is GOOD" and "mmmMMM"!! Anyway, on top of this, the kind and happy folks making the magic happen behind the counter were fun, efficient, and receptive to me projecting all of my enthusiasm their way, haha. And yes the joint itself looks very nice and has ample seating, despite the narrow space. This place deserves all the love, all the attention, and all of the business!! It was meh. Got a toasted coconut and it had a burnt taste to it and barely noticed the coconut flavor. I drank maybe a quarter of it before I tossed it. Not a very eventful taste at all. Saw this coffee shop on my Instagram feed and decided to stop in! Located in a little canter off of Arena Blvd sits this lovely veteran owned coffee shop. The inside is very welcoming and open. The menu is up on the wall behind the bar with lots of options! I decided to try a 20 oz Spiced Brown Sugar Oat milk latte and an apple danish. The order came out to be less than $12! That's amazing! The staff was very inviting and lovely. Coffee tasted great! I wasn't a huge fan of the danish texture but it had great flavor! Very happy to have found this spot. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but the Vietnamese coffee I ordered was a big disappointment. It was watery and tasted premade rather than freshly brewed. The cashier insisted it was "strong coffee," but it definitely wasn't. On top of that, I was surprised to see sales tax added to my iced Vietnamese coffee--something I've never been charged for at Starbucks. Overall, this was my first and last visit.
