Cute place, nice girls making the drinks. Super affordable. Taste exactly like Starbucks. If I can gate keep this place I would.

I wanted to love this coffee The baristas are SO nice and the shop is so cute. Service is fast. I ordered a cold brew with rose and rose cold foam but can't taste any rose. Maybe they forgot? I'll come give em a shot later this week and if it's different.

I enjoyed the tiramisu mocha drink i ordered. I also bought the coconut pineapple cake slice. The drink was delicious and I wished I had gotten the large cup after I was finished. The cake had good flavor but very dry. I'm not sure if it was vegan or cooked with other ingredients than traditional flour. I would need to have ice cream with it if I bought it again. There was an instance that I noticed while there and that was an employee who didn't wash their hands after handling a trash bag. Otherwise experience was not bad.

Everything about this coffee place is awesome! Looking at it from the outside, you don't get to the banner is covered once you walk in and smell the aroma you fall in love! Coffee was amazing , the bagel was even better! Staff was friendly and I will definitely be back.

Passed by the area and needed a cup of coffee. It was quite inside, great place to get some work done while you sip on a cup of coffee. I ordered a Banana Bread Iced Latte with Oat Milk. It had the right amount of sweetness. The barista did a great job making the latte. I would definitely go back and try their other drinks!

One of the books in the case and a bonfire latte

Came from Sacramento airport and was looking for a non chain coffee shop and this was the closest one that appeared in my Yelp search. Got the bonfire latte and it was good. It's like a homey feeling coffee shop with books to grab and read , a TV with the news playing and a long bench with outlets for laptops etc. Feels like a lot of locals come here to meet up and have deep conversations which is nice. I feel like the coffee shops I go to are pretty much for working on a laptop or grab coffee and go. The north is different! Service was excellent, my receipt says Antronette took my order and if so, he was very polite and my order was ready in a few minutes.

Avocado toast and watermelon kiwi lemonade
    Grisel R.

Stopped in while running errands nearby and ordered a watermelon kiwi lemonade along with the avocado toast. The drink was the highlight, really refreshing with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. Unfortunately, the avocado toast was disappointing. The avocado was spread very thin, similar to how you'd spread peanut butter on a sandwich, and it came on two basic slices of white bread. For $8, I expected something more substantial, like a thicker layer of avocado on a hearty slice of sourdough. The presentation also didn't do much to elevate the dish. The interior is decent, nothing particularly aesthetic but still a cute and comfortable space. Service was good, friendly cashier. Overall, while the drink was great, the food didn't meet expectations and I personally wouldn't return.

Cute local coffee stop with a big menu & seasonal specials! My coworker recommended Maestro Coffee for a quick Natomas coffee run, and I went today and took some pics including the menu & my drink. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, and it looked super smooth/creamy, great color! not watery. with a clean presentation and their cute cup sticker! What I loved about this spot is how they clearly state what drinks may have peanuts. Love seeing that communicated up front. They also have lots of food options! Will have to come back for some breakfast!

Go run and try the banana bread latte because it is DELICIOUS and while you're at it, get you the turkey jalapeño croissant. The service is 10/10 and staff are very friendly.

Service is super quick and friendly. Nice spot to chill and study/ do some work at. Came here for a coffee and bathroom pit stop. Bathroom is located all the way in the back to the left. 1 person stall. They have a variety of syrups - regular and they have some sugar free options too. I went with a lavender latte, iced with an extra shot cause I like my coffee strong. Regularly it comes with 2 shots already. I thought it was a good balance with the coffee and the lavender flavoring. The Vietnamese coffee was just ok. I may be a little bias because I usually get Vietnamese coffee from Vietnamese coffee houses. Overall, cutesy little coffee shot with lots of options in drinks, flavors, and they had good options available.

Today was my first time here and it was absolutely amazing. The employees are super welcoming and nice and my vanilla latte was amazing

My adult son thought he'd take his girl on a chill date night while home on spring break. Both over 18 but not 21, however nothing in any advertisement viewed said 21 and over. With it being at a coffee shop, thought nothing of it. Drove 30 minutes only to be told it was 21 and over only. Waste of time and money. I'd encourage you to add this info to your listings. Poor customer service.

Sales tax charged for ice coffee.

I really wanted to like this place, but the Vietnamese coffee I ordered was a big disappointment. It was watery and tasted premade rather than freshly brewed. The cashier insisted it was "strong coffee," but it definitely wasn't. On top of that, I was surprised to see sales tax added to my iced Vietnamese coffee--something I've never been charged for at Starbucks. Overall, this was my first and last visit. Unfortunately, I do not recommend getting the coffee here. Back to Starbucks I go.

Ask the Community - Maestro Coffee House

I called to see if Maestro's Coffee is open today for New Year's Eve but instead a lady answered who cussed and said stop calling answered the phone, is the phone number not up to date?

I just walked over there. The number is (916) 692-5134. They are open today until 5 and closed New Years Day. They said they didn't get any calls. Maybe misdial? You can call now and talk to Kate 😊

Is this place still open? It seems closed every time I go by.

Yes, I go there almost daily. They open early and are open late too.

Are they really closed? Does anyone know what happened?

There was a notice on their door the day after they left it was a sheriff's eviction notice

Do they serve Thai/ Vietnamese coffee here?

I went by there just a day ago and I saw Thai Coffee on their menu

They also have plenty to choose from, plus solid non-alcoholic options at really good prices. They're doing $3 mimosas for Mother's Day Sunday (hopefully that becomes permanent because that's a steal). Happy hour runs from 3-7 every day except Sunday. One of my favorite parts is the atmosphere. The shaded patio makes it comfortable even during the heat, and the whole place has this cozy backyard vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The owners are super personable and actually take time to connect with their customers, which makes the experience feel welcoming and genuine. He came across as overly pushy, almost like a used car salesman, and frequently interrupted with jokes and comments. At one point, while we were browsing the dessert case, he called out, "Come back, I'm losing you," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. He was also very persistent about wine, repeatedly and suggesting that we needed it. What may have been intended as enthusiasm felt more like a sales pitch, making it difficult to relax and take in everything before ordering. Throughout our visit, he repeatedly told us to "focus," which came across as patronizing rather than helpful. Combined with the constant joking and commentary, it became distracting and made it difficult to make decisions. What was particularly off-putting was the lack of awareness that guests may simply want a quiet, relaxing experience. The owner didn't know us or why we were there, yet the constant attempts at humor, salesmanship, and commentary left little room to simply enjoy the experience. Not every guest is looking for entertainment; some are looking for a peaceful evening. When I asked whether the peppers were hot, he repeatedly responded that they were pickled. While technically true, it didn't answer the question we were asking. Even after clarifying, he continued to insist they weren't hot because they were pickled and repeatedly sang the "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" tongue twister, which quickly became tiresome. That said, the ladies who served us were absolutely stellar. They were attentive, professional, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. They were a bright spot in the overall experience and deserve recognition for the job they did. As for the desserts, the carrot cake was extremely dense and lacked the light texture I expect from a good carrot cake. The triple chocolate brownie was also disappointingly heavy--more like a solid brick than a brownie. Overall, while the friendly welcome was appreciated and the service staff were excellent, the owner's pushy sales approach, constant interruptions, and disappointing desserts left us with a less-than-favorable impression.

Well a fun little hobby of mine is to enjoy participating in birthday freebies that casual dining places like Firehouse Subs offer, but some do come with qualifications-this establishment being one of those and the basic requirements is you have to make at least a $1 purchase 6 months before your birthday and earlier than 7 days before your birthday to qualify for a free medium sub of choice. So it was getting close and I realized I hadn't made a purchase to qualify so after searching the app to find a $1 purchase I realized I was actually kinda hungry so I decided to buy a kids combo for $4.99 and I went with a meatball sandwich. The combo comes with choice of drink or bottled water-I went with water and I think a cookie but I upgraded to the brownie for an additional $1. I ordered from the parking lot so I just walked in and with 4 minutes I had my food was ready. Parking at this location is kinda hectic while also being convenient as they share a lot with many popular businesses so it can get crazy in there but there are so many spots-it balances out. The lobby was nice and clean-plenty of seats-they have my favorite type of soda machine-the one that looks vintage but with the touch screen with the crazy amount of flavor options for your soda-immediately got me thinking " why did I get a bottled water?" I totally forgot they had a hot sauce bar-that used to be one of my favorite things about Firehouse-as a true chili-head,being able to try the different hot sauces was something I always enjoyed. Now let's talk about the food- The brownie was terrible-did not enjoy this at all-in fact I couldn't even finish it-tasted bad and for sure wasn't worth a calorie past the 1st bite-so total dud. The mini sandwich I got was the meatball sub-basically a meatball covered in melted cheese and marinara sauce.I don't know if I could've eaten than thing any faster-I enjoyed it so much-my initial thought was "what was I thinking getting a mini of something so delicious"I wanted more -it was so good-I don't have any critiques-it was super yummy-didn't even need any hot sauces-I really enjoyed it. In closing-mission accomplished-This visit qualified me for the birthday freebie in the future and I honestly enjoyed my little mini treat from Firehouse-I will for sure report at a later date how the birthday freebie experience went-but I'm thinking based on this experience,it's going to be great-Stay Tuned.

Then ordered 2 large plates of short grain brown rice, kidney beans w/ onion & garlic, baked yam, kabocha & butternut squash w/ garlic, collard greens and kale w/ shiitake mushroom sauce, and a mixed salad w/ basil lemon & agave dressing. Everything was very good. My favorites were the kidney beans, the yam combo, and the greens with the basil lemon dressing. We also got a Bahn Mi. Loved that it was really full. I don't like a skimpy Bahn Mi. For dessert, we took home slices of Coconut Pie, Chocolate Pie, Key Lime Pie, and the Himalaya Pie (layered with key lime, strawberries, coconut, and drizzled chocolate). My favorite was the Key Lime Pie -- tart and creamy. Then the Chocolate Pie, which was soft and indulgent. The Himalaya Pie was fun because every bite tasted a little different. The only one I didn't care for was the Coconut Pie because the texture was a bit hard from the coconut fat. One of the best things about this place is that they change things up based on what's seasonal. We travel with our dogs and called ahead to ask about outdoor seating. They don't officially have patio seating, but they kindly pulled a table outside for the two of us. They accommodate well-behaved dogs, and there was a great overhang for shade. We felt very comfortable sitting out there, so don't be shy about asking if you're traveling with your pooches. I briefly saw the inside and it was neat and well organized. I also saw someone bring their own container, which I loved. Definitely a spot we'll return to.
