I wear readers for work, and have for over 10 years, and have never had this issue. Who is buying glasses for books only - he was insulting my intelligence and refused to take responsibility for his incompetence. I would have purchased frames from them but he refused to sell them to me because, in his personal opinion, they wouldn't look good on me. What the customer likes is irrelevant. In general, I found everyone in this office to be extremely defensive, regardless of the situation - from the front desk to the person administering the eye exam. I will never be back.

At first I was not wanting to do this but the woman who was helping me, identified as one of the owners, asked me to humor her and she ran the numbers with this frame I fell in love with. Now my rx is single vision so she told me 30 minutes or less. Yeah right!!!! She writes down what the glasses and my rx cost and it was LESS THAN WHAT MY INSURNACE CHARGED for the mediocre brand. I was going to pay LESS THAN my damn copay with my insurance at the big box store!!! Of course I did it and after I walked out to get some food next door I got a text that my glasses were done even before my food was packaged and paid for. So this was 2 months ago and a review was the last thing on my mind. Now today my dog chewed one of the arms to my glasses and before I sold my dog I called the store and was told to bring them back. Of course I did, on my lunch break, and before my break was over they had me in a new frame. I finally learned the owners name, Barbara, and I will never forget it. I work for a huge medical practice and they could never provide this type of service and this level of care and attention.

I was told I had ALL KINDS of eye issues, and needed bifocal glasses, special contacts etc. I got the glasses and after a week of wearing then I had to go back to my old glasses. There's gave me such bad headaches I actually felt nauseated all day wearing them. Forward thru covid to 2021. My husband went to Zaleski Optical. They were nice, professional & they started FROM THE BEGINNING with his exam. He loved them. I went a couple of weeks ago. AMAZING from the walk thru the door. Tammy is AWESOME, friendly, helpful, honest! The Dr. Started from the beginning with me as well. Guess what? DID NOT need bifocals. Nothing wrong with my eyes out of the normal. Have 20/20, need distance glasses AND was able to get my long wear contacts and he even told me if I need a booster with them, just go get a +25 pair of readers from a store! Their prices are GREAT TOO. I did NOT feel robbed after I left there. These ppl really care about your vision & take the time to explain everything to you from start to finish.
