Two weeks ago after the really bad rain storm I discovered a leak in my bathroom. it turned out to be a leak in the walls from the roof that traveled from the roof to our master bath and down to the family room. Home Perfect is attentive to the customer. is very good at explaining what's going on and the process that will be used to demo, repair and restore. The field associates have been amazing. Dan and Casey have done an exceptional job of calling before they arrive. They keep in contact with each other so they are always on the same page of what needs to be done. We've made it through the first part of the demo. Brad the estimator for the company took the time to talk with my insurance company that was at times disagreeing on what needed to be done and what they would cover. He worked endlessly with my insurance company to come to an agreement. Every person I have encountered at Home Perfect has been excellent, Brad, Dan & Kasey as well as the associates in the office have been helpful and don't stop until I understand and am comfortable with the process. Great company. UPDATE: Since I can't write two reviews for the same business, I thought I would just add to this. Home Perfect just finished up the reconstruction of our job. I thought the mitigation team was amazing and now working with the reconstruction team I've realized the entire company goes above and beyond. Jack was our adjuster that worked with our insurance company. He was a saint for what they put him through. He kept at them when they questioned line items even when they felt it was necessary to send a second adjuster he met them on the job and walked the adjuster through the project. He was knowledgeable, professional and his patience was beyond measure. Our Project Manager was Rob. He walked us through each step of the project. He was patient with me as I tried to understand the process. If I had a question he had the answer. If I needed to reach him i immediately heard back from him. He set up the job so that there was no down town. There was someone here everyday working. He always gave me plenty of notice when workers would be arriving. When I questioned a choice I made he was calm and patient with me. He listened to my concerns and worked through them with me until I was satisfied. Felipe and Mohammed the two workers that were here almost everyday were hard workers, on time, polite, professional and communicated with me clearly. Felipe did a wonderful job with the electrical and Mohammed's painting skills were amazing. Matt the tile layer worked all day and was very precise in his work. He took pride in a job well done. He showed me different variations of how he could lay the tile and listened to what I requested. I love the shower and the tile around the tub. It's beautiful. The plumber, David was very nice and a fast worker. The counter top layers and the flooring installer also did a great job. The entire job turned out beautiful. I think what I loved most about working with Home Perfect is they feel like family while still being professional. They make the customer feel like they are the most important job they are working on. The office manager, Dorrae was always friendly and helpful. I'm actually a bit sad that the job is over. I'll start off by saying I highly recommend Home Perfect! I've had the best experience so far. I came home to a kitchen flood on October 1, 2024. To say the least I was frantic! I reached out to a friend in my special-needs community and found that Home Perfect was highly recommended. I reached out to Home Perfect and received their answering service where I left all of my information. I received a call back almost immediately that night from a gentleman name Scott. Scott was very helpful in explaining what would happen from here. He was professional and very personable and thanked me for trusting in them. He said somebody would come out to my home first thing in the morning. I felt a little less frantic after speaking with him. The next morning as promised, a supervisor with the mitigation team showed up to help. Chris Cruz with the mitigation team took a look at the damage and could see that I was still struggling with what would happen from here. He did everything to make me feel like it was going to be OK. Chris is one of the most calm, empathetic, and genuine people I have ever met. He went out of his way in too many ways to list here, but all I can say is, I felt at ease and confident that he was going to do everything in his power to make this situation as easy as possible on me. I highly recommend this company. They handled the entire job from start to finish. My pool house had water seepage through a retaining wall destroying the drywall and causing mold. HP demoed the drywall down to the studs ( actually removed existing studs so they could seal the concrete behind them) and performed mold remediation. The area was thoroughly cleaned and all debris was removed. The walls and floor were sealed, new studs were installed along with new insulation and dry wall. Everything was painted. New tile flooring and door thresholds were installed. The area was cleaned on a daily basis. Mike the project manager and his staff were professional courteous and very skilled. I have been on the fence about writing this. I have never felt more betrayed by a company. This was last year, our home was partially flooded due to the heavy rains and a clogged landscape drain. Home Perfect was working on another job for us that was actually going well! They were really great in the beginning but I had never had to experience anything like this before. There are so many more details, photos and incidents that I finally gave up on Home Perfect. The reason I am writing 1 year and a half later is because we are STILL dealing with several issues due to their short comings and cut corners that are now costing us even more. When I presented an issue recently, I received several excuses as to why it was our fault. Unfinished wood base boards they place in the bathroom have rotted. The water will splash out of the shower but if the base board was sealed and painted we wouldn't have this issue (or if they had done tile base boards like we had before we wouldn't have had a problem). Once this happened I think they saw dollar signs and all things after that went to crap. Mid-job Ryan left to start his own company, (oh and apparently he's supposedly back to working) passing all the jobs to Robb... who in my opinion is the most chauvinistic and apparently "over worked" man you will ever meet. Robb informed us that Ryan did not measure anything correctly and had the wrong rooms and areas documented that were affected by the water etc. Ryan's job title is the "estimator" so it's kinda important to know what you're doing? And do it correctly. We have never experienced anything like this before... and I wish this on no one. When the flood happened I called them because I trusted they knew what they were doing... turns out they caused so much more damage with not setting down the sand bags properly, and not following the right protocol... because of that more water kept coming! The only person to help fix the problem was an amazing plumber. Once the water was gone (which was within a couple hours) and the areas assessed, they got trigger happy and marked walls that didn't need to be cut bc they weren't even TOUCHED by the water. But because they used a "moisture meter" that according to Rob "can not be wrong"... that was it... based on the markings you would think I had to redo the whole house... After a lot of back and forth with the Owner Scott, who by the way was very nice most of the time but a bit of an exaggerator with his "assessment" and he's one who definitely likes to have the last word when you have a problem... aka doesn't think he is ever wrong... We had to have them finish the first job quickly and leave as soon as possibly and then We hired another company to finish. In the end I really wanted to just move on and let things go, however now that we are dealing with issues they caused and causing us to have to do things over again, I had to write this. I didn't want to give them 1 star because they are worth more then that, but my experience with them was definitely not 5 star worthy. In early June, we noticed a musky odor in our kitchen. We hired a leak detection contractor & he discovered a water leak in an exterior wall, behind a set of kitchen cabinets. We filed our first claim with our home owner's insurance company of 26 years. Our adjuster guided us towards using his preferred plumber & restoration company to fix the leak & dry out the moisture. When it came time for restoring our kitchen, I called a friend, Robb Nimmo, who works for Home Perfect Restoration. Robb provided an estimate that was vastly different than the one that my insurance adjuster's preferred vendor provided, which was a real eye opener. Robb helped us to negotiate a more realistic settlement. We decided to use this as an opportunity to not only restore our kitchen, but to invest in much needed upgrades. Home Perfect did an excellent job of restoring & remodeling our kitchen. We upgraded our countertops, enlarged our island, replaced our sink & faucet, got new door & drawer fronts, and got several, custom Alder pullouts (all with soft-closing hardware). Customer name Ciara Rodriguez We had a water leak and was referred this company by our plumber. We had great communication and get time efficiency with the water mitigation. When it came time to renovate after having two cabinets removed and all of the flooring from our kitchen removed, we had been at a stand still. We've been approved with insurance since 11/30 and our project has been ignored. We've been promised a phone call or an update multiple times and assignments that were supposed to be done not done. Promises to do better and treat us great we're failed. I've never been so disappointed. Here we are 3 weeks past approval with cash in hand and not contact on what the status is. Spent two weeks tying to reach someone and has to bring up our contract just to get a phone call back. Very upset as I have a baby due soon and my house looks like a bomb went off. Originally we worked with Robb Nimmo to estimate the project and he was very knowledgable regarding building/framing since we were eliminating walls and ceilings. Mike was our project manager and helped every step of the way, was always available for questions or concerns and would stop by every few days as needed. The real all-stars were Jr and Anthony who worked every day from demo to all the final trims. I used Home Perfect because of their excellent reviews on Yelp. I just moved and wanted to get my couch and headboard steamed. I was at work when they came to clean but I looked over the couch and bed when I got home. I was surprised that my bed was not as clean as I thought it would be. There are lines all over the upholstered bed frame and it's still dirty. I wanted to make sure the couch cushions were completely dry so I turned them this morning and they are all dirty! I am very unsatisfied with their work. Im waiting to hear back from them to see if they will fix this issue. **UPDATE** They called me back and have promised to correct the issue.
